Yes if your into cycling then this is the place for you ,I am not a cyclist but it’s a great base for it as a big majority of the clientele are as well as swimming and fitness . We stayed on a A/I basis for 10 nights in a Maris room block C , good location for the adults only pool and restaurant ,the staff are all very friendly from start to finish , food was excellent and varied with some good show cooking and especially the fillet steak ( to die for ). We didn’t use the al a carte restaurant but our friends did and said it was very good , we got 1 hour per day free spa which was busy but good .there are no bars or restaurants close by so it’s either a good walk , bike ride , bus or taxi or your hire car . We had the later picked up at airport and was able to park on the hotel grounds no problem . The views from the front of the hotel over the bay are stunning and to the rear it overlooks a nature reserve which you can access from hotel with bird hives and designated walks good for animal lovers and ( twitchers ) . if your looking for evening entertainment then this wasn’t the best but all in all we had a great time and would recommend this as a great place to stay .**** Collapse

I'm not a cyclist, I booked this as a wee retreat and I travelled alone. I am so pleased I chose this resort though as it had everything I needed and was very reasonably priced. I was fascinated by the groups of people who obviously know this as a great place for a cycling holiday. I'd not seen anything like this before. I was accommodated in the adults only area. The loungers around the pool are very comfortable and there is plenty of space. The staff are wonderful and made me feel very welcome and not conspicuous for being a lone traveller. The food is OK but I didn't eat at the Buffet in the evenings preferring to have a salad at the grill instead. The breakfast buffet is superior in the main lobby rather than the Ancora buffet at the Adults Only area. Because a lot of the guests are cyclists the hotel is quiet during the day which suited me well. Evening entertainment is varied and quite good quality compared to other resorts I've been to. The spa is lovely and open till quite late so its possible to sit in the relaxation room and watch the sun set over the mountains; sublime. Collapse

We thoroughly enjoyed our return trip, having been around 3 years ago - we were impressed by the refurbished Village room - modern and very clean (Daniela - thanks for making our stay so enjoyable ! Towels folded into animal shapes for our daughter and little treats - a great personal touch! The new spa was amazing - good that you allow children into the indoor pool - not so sure about the the need for caps though, especially as my husband's hair is less than one cm in length! Grounds fantastic and well kept. Large outdoor pool with safe spots for kids - there are a lot of ducks and we could see that steps are taking to move them away during day - but please could more be done to clear droppings, especially near kids section of pool. Facilities great for all the family including daytime and nighttime entertainment- a special mention to Evelyn who our daughter took a shine to - fantastic with kids! Restaurant amazing and lots of food choices available. The only recommendation I would make is to have a few more simple food choices for kids other than pasta. Would highly recommend hotel to all ages ! Collapse

Really enjoyed our stay here for a week at the beginning of September. Myself and my boyfriend had a great time. The room was great (we were in a village plus room and I would recommend this as apparently the others are quite dated) It was great to have the use of the adults only are (including a pool, restaurant and bar) The other pool was also great (and a bit more fun with pool floats) Evening entertainment was good and the spa was a great addition (on all inclusive you have access for one hour per day) Food was good and it was nice to have a choice between 3 restaurants. Staff we very friendly and helpful - all in all a great stay! Collapse

We stayed here from the 19th-29th Sept just me and hubby as he loves cycling and had read previous reviews that this resort was recommended by other cyclist. There are 2 bike hire place on resort one being under ground near the spa the other being max huerzler which hubby used as it seemed to stay open later. Our room was the maris apartment which was fine and you can hire a kettle for 10euros which you get back when you return. We found the food amazing there was always something you could find to eat and im a picky eater but i have to be honest we have been going to mallorca for the past 20 years and stayed in countless hotels on the island but for me apart from the Bon Aire in cala bona this as to be tops for catering(this is only mine and hubby's opinion ) The Spa is amazing and i was blown away by it,when you walk in theres is a beautiful aroma i asked if it was something you could buy but was told by staff no its a secret smell that they only know and was made by magic lol yep its was magic. On the whole we had a fab time the room was spotless ALL the staff was friendly and made you feel very welcome,It didn't matter if you was half board or all inclusive you was all treated the same with polite smiling people. The only 2 big big downsides for me was there was no bike shed to put bikes in over night so had to be in your room which is a massive shame if you had the smaller rooms really could do with a bike shed, and the supermarket i find it very expensive it was if though they made the money up to cover the all inclusive for water etc which is a shame when we went into town we got all our stuff there,im not tight by any means but did feel they made there money from you. Apart from them to things i give this resort 10/10 and to carry on doing there magic Collapse
