I went to this hotel with my 2 years old child. I payed for 2 adults, half pension (breakfast and dinner), because that was one of the options on booking.com When I arrived, I asked if I could get complete pension, as it was only me and a 2 years old child (not 2 adults, as I payed for) : and they accept it. Great. But they gave me one room at Vila Maxima (remember this name: Maxima). And the smell of mold is TERRIBLE! Room 115 in Vila Maxima: mold ! As my child is alergic, and I saw a horrible air conditioner (see my pictures), I NEVER turned it on. I thought I should ask to change the room, but I already arrived asking for a complete pension... So, I thought I should accept it: beach hotels can smell mold. But it was not only the mold and the creepy old air conditioner: there also was a smell of septic tank: FAECES! Horrible smell. The next day, I saw lots of men working on a septic tank and I thought the smell would get better: it didn't... It was my second night in a double horrible smell. I only asked to move the room on my last night: Vila Rosa, second floor: no mold, no faeces smell. Much better. The pool is great, food is good, Vila Rosa is great: but my experience was horrible. I believe no hotel should have rooms like Vila Maxima. I would recommend some other place for your family: or I would recommend you to avoid Villa Maxima. Collapse
Amazing! Highly recommended!!

Please don't read the bad reviews. This holiday exceeded our expectations. Fantastic service, room, staff, food, pool. We could not fault this holiday one bit.We came with our 3 year old daughter who had a fantastic first holiday abroad. Clean rooms, air conditioned. The pool was wonderful, the entertainment - if you wanted to join in, was also great. Mini disco's went down well with our little girl. There was a great variety of food every day. Relaxed atmosphere and everyone seemed to genuinely be having a lovely holiday. Everyone was very respectful of everyone else. Spa facilities were great. Adult only areas if you wanted a peaceful break too. You could enjoy a holiday with your family or have an adult holiday. There was a separate adult area with pool bar and restaurant. The bus stop is outside with buses every 15 mins. Hobby club was just by reception where you could book any of the on site activities. We would love to come back.we had a fantastic holiday and would love to bring the rest of our family too !!! Collapse

Just sat here on the terrace on the last day of our 10 day holiday at Port Blue Club. It's our first visit and on balance would I recommend, yes, will we be back, probably not but then we like to try different places. I've chatted to quite a few families who are on their 2nd trip here though so that's a good sign! We asked for a quiet room and after walking round the grounds we could've got a room further into the grounds but you would never know we were near the on site shops, road etc! The room location was actually great (not far to walk, the kids could easily wander back to the room) and the complex has been well designed so we couldn't hear any noise from the busy road outside. The room itself was absolutely fine. Smallish for a family of 4 but we spent very little time there so it didn't bother us. There's a small fridge but no tea/coffee making facilities but again it didn't really bother us. The maid service every day is very efficient. Our room was showing signs of starting to become a little tired but nothing major. The only thing I would criticise is that it would be great if the splattered Mosquitos on the wall could've been cleaned in between customers. There were only a couple but still it's not nice to see!! We were bitten on our first couple of nights, huge bites!!, and hadn't been organised enough to get mozzy spray but once we bought it we were bite free. The site is next to a nature so they are more of a problem for that reason. Also for that reason there are loads of ducks and birds but they add to the beauty rather than being a problem. The food is of a decent standard and some food we ate was really tasty, suckling pig, roast lamb, paella, for example. We were half board and I was very happy about that as I may have felt it was a bit too repetitive to go all inclusive but then some people love all inc. we just decided after a holiday last year that's it's not our thing! Half board is a great option as you can choose whether to eat in at lunch or dinner. My main bugbear is that you're not escorted to your table so after finding a table (not difficult) You had to either wait a while to be served drinks or often ended up having finished eating before our drinks arrived! This was a common problem for us, maybe we were unlucky!! The main family pool is fantastic with baby areas within it which is great for families of different ages so you're not split up. There are also several shallow areas around the edges. It's one of the nicest family hotel pools I've seen in a while. You have to be out fairly early to get a decent set of loungers by the pool edge unfortunately even though there's no one sitting on said loungers until approx 9-10am. The usual annoying holiday sun lounger debar-cal that's not exclusive to this resort!! We enjoyed the evening entertainment for the most part though we were out for about 5 evenings and missed quite a bit. The bus services to pollenca and alcudia are great and meant we could get to either beach cheaply and easily without having a car. The location of the hotel was great for this reason rather than being located within either town. Overall we've had a lovely time! Collapse

We arrived after an early flight. First impressions showed me this is not a 4 star resort. Got shown to our room and it was so dirty. Blood on the walls (from mosquitos I'm presuming) mouldy around the bath, half drunk bottle of coke in the warm fridge. Decided to walk to the pool and saw meat floating on the water. Dead duck by our room with maggots on it. Walked to duty manager to complain about the room and was offered another tatty room so waited for our rep. Took her to the room and touched the lamp to show her the dust and it blew up. Live wires hanging out if it. Checked fuse box on wall and this was not secure and live wires hanging out. Rep took photos as we are now suing the hotel due to the danger of electrocution. Duty manager Maxi absolutely useless and said either upgrade to another room for €30 or get out!!! Was so angry I could have got myself arrested. Finally got moved to another hotel. This place needs knocking down!!!!!! Collapse

We stayed in PortBlue early June of 2017 for 10 days. We found this hotel decent but with 3 star amenities and services. We opted for the most expensive room however compared to other resort our room would be considered standard but we paid the price of Suit. There is a motorway between hotel and beach, so one needs to cross the the highway before going to beach. Beach is mostly for sports adventure and not for relaxing on sunbeds as the shore is mostly rocky. Breakfast is okay but not that great. Overall I would say its a decent place but we would not stay in this resort again. Collapse
