I'm going to start with the bad points about this hotel - just because the good outweigh them. Firstly, if you're staying here you MUST take mosquito repellant with you. Personally I think that the hotel should provide mosquito plug ins and more for the guests as mossies are a huge problem here - mainly due to the neighbouring nature reserve and all of the ponds in the resort. Secondly, the wifi here is rubbish. Once you get back to your room you're basically out of range. Sad as if may seem, as new parents anticipating quite a lot of time in our room in the evening, we were prepared to be using our phones a lot - and we weren't able to. We booked a suite and the space was fantastic. We had our own terrace which was fab for sunbathing. The suite was very dated though and in need of redecoration. Our final gripes were with Housekeeping who literally came and made the bed each day - they didn't wash up the dirty glasses or cups - which drove me crazy in the end as I had to do it. We were also charged 2.50 Euros per day to use the safe in our room - we really felt this was a liberty and mentioned it to the Duty Manager however, this charge was not removed. Now onto the good stuff! This resort is huge and positioned between Alcudia and Pollenca (not walking distance). The grounds and gardens are stunning and perfect for walking around. Our suite was nestled beside a pond with ducks and fish which our little boy loved. The resort is extremely family friendly - there is a little splash park for kids, a baby/kids club which our little boy loved, a very kids friendly pool. All of the staff we came across we're very attentive to our little boy and we never felt conscious if he was loud or badly behaved. The buffet for breakfast and dinner (we were half board) was outstanding. There were always healthy choices, vegetarian, kid friendly meals which were fresh and hot and very tasty. I felt that an earlier kids buffet would have made this hotel almost perfect for us as 6:30pm was a little late for our son. Every member of staff at the hotel was friendly and went out of their way to help us. Would we return to this hotel, yes. If you're looking for a family friendly resort than I couldn't recommend this highly enough. Collapse

The food choice and quality was excellent. The buffet menu changed everyday, the mix of food was amazing and we really loved the effort to promote local Mallorcan dishes as well as food that caters to every palate. The staff were all so wonderful and friendly. They always made a fuss over us and our little one, and we were always made to feel special and welcome. Everyone, from the house-keeping, waiter and maintenance/gardener staff met us with a smile and a hello whenever we met them, even if it was just passing by on our way to/from the room. We were also amazed at the house-maid Katy, who managed to clean our room despite everything our 11 month could throw at her. The room was always spotless. Which is also something to say about the hotel in general. The general upkeep and maintenance is excellent. We also loved Ana who ran the child care play group. It was Ana's love and care of our little one that let us go off and enjoy the wellness spa, which is excellent by the way. The hotel is NOT well suited for wheelchair or buggy users. There was only one way into the main dining area and that was via a long circuitous route out to the front of the main entrance, and even then the doors were heavy manual push/pull....they didn't open automatically, so this would prove problematic for wheelchair users especially. The evening entertainment was pretty dull and uninteresting. We elected to entertain ourselves most evenings as we couldn't stand to watch the entertainment put on by the animation team. That being said, the team during the day were great with the variety of other events arranged during the daytime, such a yoga, archery, swimming pool exercises etc. Lastly, whilst the food is amazing and the price is good value for money (we stayed Half Board), I felt that the price of the drinks was off the charts. A normal beer that would cost EUR 1.50 in any other bar was EUR 5.00 at the hotel...a massive uplift in prices. Collapse

The hotel is situated at the edge of a nature reserve good views of mountains at sunset. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful lovely to walk round after your meal. This time of year was perfect as quite busy with cyclists who were out all day meaning we had choice of seats round the pools together with families with small children. The hotel was spotless in all areas. The staff friendly and helpful. They can arrange trips out and suggested that we use their free transport to several nearby beaches 5/10 minutes away. Local buses stop at the hotel forAlcudia and Pollentia 1.55 each way every half hour. Lots to do on site if you want to but left to yourselves if you don,t. Food was very good 2 restaurants ( one adults only) different main course each night as well as so many other choices including Bbq on a Tuesday. Indoor pool in the spa area and treatments at reasonable costs. Bath & shower a little dated but no problem. Booked a trip out to Soller & Valdermossa Juan & Juan made for an entertains day out in beautiful villages. Would stay here again. Collapse

My husband was concerned as he saw a lady trip over roll of cover. Apart from that restaurant adult one has been very good and staff friendly and welcoming. Collapse
