Just got back from Playa park and it was a fantastic holiday. Weather wasn't the best but the staff made up for it. Samba from the poolside bar was a very nice person and is great at what he does. Simone was one of the nicest people I've met aswell and he was always putting on activities. The food in the restaurant wasn't the best, it wasn't the warmest or nicest but the food in the poolside bar wasn't too bad. Entertainment by Simone was good at the night too but the outside pool table and darts board definitely need replacing. All in all I would definitely recommend this Hotel and hope to return in the summer. Collapse

Just returned from this hotel and have to say we really didn't want to leave ! The hotel is lovely and clean as are the rooms, we had a great room with two balconies. Food was nice and hot and always plenty to choose from, 3 lovely clean pools ( 1 was extremely cold ) but got in anyway ! Didn't see much of the entertainment as we wandered in to the main town in the evenings, we met some great people and had a real laugh ! We will be back next February. Collapse

I's truly a great place to spend a week in early february. Temperature is great, lot of nice places at a walking distance. Good food, great bar, great music, nice swimming pool. Not too many kids in this time of the year.

Returned from Playa Park last week and overall had a good holiday. We stayed in an apartment which was quite big and had all the equipment you would need if you were self catering but the fridge is handy if you are all inclusive as we were. Although for some reason the cleaner insisted on taking the card out of the metre when she cleaned the room, which of course turned the fridge off. The apartment patios do not get any sun and it can be quite cold out of the sun. There are plenty of sunbeds around the pools. This complex is immaculate and very modern with 3 pools, one of which was heated, but still very cold. When we arrived we were giving a front door key and a card for the electric and the check-in was quick. Having had to go to reception on a few occasions while I was there it was clear that some of the reception staff were not very helpful and could be very abrupt. The food is amazing, more like 4 star, always plenty of choice and the staff were lovely. The bar staff were also brilliant and made the best cocktails, especially pina coladas. The local spirits served were always a good measure but not very nice and the cola was local brand and also not the best. The entertainment staff was one person who did everything in the day and night.. Nightly entertainment consisted of the usual parrot show, karaoke, games and the occasional entertainer. The children's disco consisted of 3 songs normally the same ones every night. One entertainer called Michael who sang reggae was very good the first time we saw him but he was back 7 days later doing the same songs and script word for word, which was very disappointing. If you are staying for more than a week it is boring. They should have a 2 week programme. We ended up going out most nights and found a little pub round the corner called Flintsones which has entertainment most nights and also the Rock bar in town. This hotel does not make packed lunches so if you are going on a day trip you have to spend more money buying lunch, which I have never known in an all inclusive hotel. Also if you have an early flight they will not open the restaurant early so that you can eat before you go. Collapse

Me and my partner visited this hotel in November for a week. We were extremely pleased with the overall look of the hotel and the staff that worked there. It was extremely hard to connect to wifi as the signal was very poor the majoriry of the holiday. Our room was absolutely beautiful, and very spacious, it was just above reception so we had a great view of the area. Drinks and snacks at pool side were good and you didn't have to wait long at all. Me and my partner would like to give a special shout out to the amazing bar man samba who we still to this day talk about. This man works extremely hard which we can clearly see as we both work on a holiday park. The food at night was okay, there is always something you can eat though. We really enjoyed the Mexican night where there was fajitas and many more delicious snacks. It could maybe use some more themed nights. We took part in some of the daytime activities were my partner won the game of darts, we also played a few other games with Simone. Night time entertainment drastically needs improved and that was my only downfall, being a holiday Entertainer I picked up on a lot of faults which could be fixed to raise the bar even higher. The Entertainment is very basic, bingo only consists of 1 game and a quiz with 1 round in it, it all seems very repeated. Kids disco wasn't upto much. It just needs to be improved as a lot of people will come down for the entertainment. I personally would have more than just 1 person on to make the night flow a lot better. A few times the acts were cancelled so we either done a quiz or they brought in a reggie singer who I did like and had great interaction with the crowd. The overall location was perfect for us, if you're a couple who likes it not too busy but in walking distance to the main town centre/night life then this is perfect for you. There is also a smaller town centre 2 minutes from this hotel with lovely shops and restaurants. If you are coming to this area we fully recommend you take advantage of this beautiful place. Visit the zoo, you can also ride a camel at a small charge. You can't rent buggies from the town, however we do recommend that you get the newer looking ones on the main town centre and not the older ones down the side street as we had a really bad experience of breaking down and being stranded for hours. We also got the ferry over to lanzarotte for the day and went on a submarine which was lovely. Overall, this hotel was perfect for us and we would gladly return. Our first holiday away was a success! It has everything you need and is a perfect location. Just a few little improvements that need to be made but both very happy. C&B Collapse
