My husband and I visited London in October '16 and stayed at The Piccadilly London West End. Our choice couldn't have been better: beautiful and immaculate, kind staff, wonderful meals - relished every minute of our stay with The Piccadilly, and would definitely recommend it as a top choice when considering London hotels. As a small hotel, you will be treated with individual attention, immediately, and you will find the modern rooms and furnishings, the gourmet selection of breakfast foods, and the attentive staff (who remember you!) amenities that you will cherish as much as we did the rest of our holiday. We have just returned from a one night stay at the Piccadilly. We had booked tickets for 'Beyond Caravaggio' at the National Gallery, 'Picasso Portraits' at the National Portrait Gallery and 'Tosca' at the London Coliseum and felt despite living less than 2 hours away by train, staying in London overnight was the best way of doing these three justice. We hadn't stayed here before and were very impressed. Getting an upgrade to a four poster room helped of course, as did the welcome glass of Prosecco. The staff were unfailingly cheerful and helpful and the room was comfortable, the bathroom good with both overhead and over taps showers. What really helped make this a good choice however was the check in time of 2 pm and the checkout of 12 noon unusual in my experience for London. What was not so good was the extortionate charge for breakfast - £16.50 for Continental Breakfast is frankly a rip off given that by chosing to walk a couple of hundred yards up Wardour Street to Princi we had a huge bowl of fresh fruit, superb freshly baked croissants and brioche and really excellent coffees for a total of £14.50! Nonetheless we will certainly return to the Piccadilly. We paid £224 for a small double (but as I say received a complimentary upgrade). Location could hardly be bettered - 6 minutes to the National Gallery, 7 minutes to the Coliseum less to Leicester Square, surrounded by restaurants and theatres but very quiet with very efficient double (triple?) glazing. Highly recommended. Collapse

Spent two nights at this amazing hotel, right in the heart of theatre land! Two minutes walk to the queens theatre where Les Mis is performed, 15 mins walk to oxford street, 5 minutes walk to the regent street. Could not have asked for a better located hotel for our needs of the weekend. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with a nice chilled glass of presecco and we were told that we had been upgraded with compliments from a premier room to a club room which was a lovely way to start the weekend the weekend just got better from there. Spotlessly clean, comfy and luxurious beds and a bathroom to die for. We had room 104 which was on the front of the hotel, there was a lot of road noise at all times, our taxi driver from the train station said it was the busiest road in London and traffic queues all times of the night, but luckily we very often fall asleep with TV on anyway so It didn't bother us and it was a small price to pay for the location of the hotel. Perfect Location for Theatreland, China Town, Piccadilly Circus Underground, restaurants and about 1km from Westminster Bridge. Small, friendly, clean, recently refurbished upmarket boutique hotel. Rooms are well equipped with all essential tourist items including kettle and ironing board. There is fresh fruit and nibblies in the room and the fridge is fully stocked. Comfortable bed with adequate storage for clothes, cases and electronic toys (free Wifi). Our room 211 had a small but very adequate en suite bathroom with shower. Small breakfast room with excellent full english (and continental) breakfast. Staff are very willing and friendly. As a senior couple we have been here many times over the years and continue to love our London stays here. Collapse

We were warmly welcomed by the very efficient reception staff. We had stayed here many times under the old ownership and enjoyed everything. Now the hotel has been refurbished, and it is beautiful as well as your every wish being granted!! Our breakfast was included and the dining room is attractive and charming. Their cell phone service allows for free international calls to several country's, including the USA, France, Germany & Italy. The rooms were very comfortable, well furnished, and immaculate. The staff was able to arrange our transportation from the hotel to Heathrow as well as obtaining theater tickets for several shows. The hotel is right in the heart of Theater Land and 2 blocks from Chinatown with many restaurants in the vicinity. Our stay was for 6 nights and we will definitely return here whenever we next come to London!!! Collapse
