We rented a 2-bedroom unit. We enjoy having a kitchen, for breakfast in particular. The unit was clean, comfortable and appropriately stocked with kitchen tools to make our stay easy and less expensive. The grounds were well kept and interesting with bridges connecting various sections of the property (e.g. pool). The fitness room left a bit to be desired, but, I would definitely stay there again! Like the residents of Naples this place looks old, but unlike the residents, this place looks tired too - don't bother reading more, just book somewhere else. The Resort is disappointing at every turn. It's location isn't great for anywhere and without a car, or the ability to take some long walks you won't see much. You know the stay will be poor when the receptionist doesn't greet you on arrival and make no small talk at all and then makes you sign an A4 page of house rules, of things you can't do and tells you "you will be fined and charged for every breach of the rules" - now that's nothing like a customer service focussed greeting and welcome. The apartment was of a good size and plenty large enough for four people, but really wasn't that clean and certainly not that well maintained. The furniture was late 90s and stained or scratched; the plates were those awful cheap glass ones and the outside space as a JOKE The balcony had no flooring down - it had been removed, the ceiling was mostly missing, with the insulation rolling hanging down, no screen to protect from the insects and no cushions for the furniture. I'm sure that the resort will blame the recent hurricane for the lack of maintenance, but there was no indication of this, no signs up, no pre-check in notification, no discount, no comments made when I complained - all a bit of a mess. By far the worse part was the housekeeping.. .. .. or more to the point, the lack of housekeeping. A cleaner attended the apartment daily and must have spent about two minutes in there - they made the bed and put in clean(ish) towels. They did nothing to tidy the space, never picked up the rubbish and certainly "housekeeping" wasn't something they did. We had a muffin wrapper on the floor for the whole of the stay that housekeeping never moved, or disposed of - a real joke. They didn't even pick up pillows from the floor. One of the beds was changed half was through the stay, but the other wasn't. After not having the bathrooms cleaned for three days, were went to the supermarket and bought some cleaning products and the staff were clearly never going to clean the place On the first two days, there were work men working above the apartment and making one hell of a noise - all very annoying. When I spoke to reception they suggested that I moved to the pool to avoid the noise and disruption!! When the work men had fixed what ever needed repairing the fixed equipment made so much background noise that the only way to sleep was to purchase ear plugs. I gave up speaking to reception about the issues, as it was causing me frustration and they didn't really want to do anything to sort it. The pool was warm and quite nice, but the landscaping around the pool was by far the worst in the whole of Naples.. .. .. it appears that Naples focusses a lot of how it looks and almost every house is garden perfect, but the Resort had trees down, dead trees and palms with dead branches hanging - all very messy. If you are under 50 you won't fit in with the other guests and if you don't want a good moan, don't join in the conversations. The pool was surrounded by old Brits moaning about the standards, lack of air conditioning and hot water and the value of the £ and tutting when younger people were having fun. Would I stay here again - NEVER Would I recommend this place - NEVER Would it be suitable for you - Maybe if you not bothered about standards and you want less than you have at home, but if you thinking about it, save your money or go somewhere else Collapse

We came to Naples primarily to work at a Golf event. This was the 4th year that we made this trip and we decided to stay for a longer period of time. We decided to come to Park Shore Resort when we rented a two-bedroom condo. From the outside, Park Shore looks like a motel but this is wrong. Once you get inside or you walk around, it's clear that each unit faces a lovely water feature. There is a pool, hot tub and grills available for use. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit is quite comfortable and we hope to return next year. Collapse

Booked this place due to the proximity of the Everglades (Kayak tripped booked) as we didn't want to stay too close to the swamps and wanted to experience Naples. For the few days we stayed this place was perfect. Close to the grocery store and car parking right outside the room. Although the accommodation is a little tired it is clean and tidy with plenty of space. Pool was a hit with the kids and the barbecue area was meticulously clean. For the price, you can't go wrong with this place. Laundry room with dryers was a short walk, but no drama. We could all do with the exercise right? Collapse
