Park Inn Prague I arrived in Prague by bus from Budapest and got down at Florenc. I followed Google Maps, which said the fastest way to reach Park Inn at Svobodova is to take metro line B to Charles Square and from there walk to Park Inn. I got down at Charles Square and waited outside the mall to find out where the hotel was? I could not use Google Maps as my phone battery had conked. Language was a barrier due to which communication was difficult. Finally, one gentleman realized that I had to go to Park Inn and advised me to take tram no 3 and get down after three stops. I did that but after that, finding Svobodova was an issue. One young lady looked at her map and advised me accordingly. Luckily I found the hotel easily after that. It was early morning on June 9th when I arrived and I thought that like many other hotels, here too, I would be asked to leave my luggage and come back later. But the receptionist was so kind and gave me a room immediately. He said I could even change it if I did not like it. That's lovely! How many hotels do that?! The receptionist also gave me two adaptors for my chargers and was kind with his advice on tickets and sightseeing. My room was on the first floor and had a view of the road and rail line opposite but that did not matter. The room itself was meant for the disabled and so was huge with a bathroom that was bigger than some of the rooms in other hotels. There was no closet so you had to hang stuff on the hangers. No tea or coffee either but that was fine too. A TESCO next door so you could easily buy essentials. The hotel had a restaurant and bar but I did not eat there so cannot comment. Later on I realized that it would have been easier had I taken tram 3 directly from the Florenc bus station. The tram station was just a few minutes walk from the hotel and from there, Charles Bridge and Old Town were only a few stops away so very convenient if you found out the right way of commuting. The hotel is also just five minutes from the river so you can take a long leisurely walk by the riverside if you so desire. My request for a late check-out was granted without much ado. So you see, the hotel did everything right according to me and I found my stay there most pleasurable. If you are looking to stay in Prague close to the touristy sites yet a bit away from the din, Park Inn by Radisson offers the best solution. I would highly recommend this hotel for the cordiality and accommodating stance of its staff, the size of the room and the convenience of public transport. Collapse

Exceptional service at the hotel. Good location on the tram line- away from the crowds in city center/Old a Town. Room was updated very nicely for a 100+ year-old hotel. Front desk staff was outstanding!

Just got back from four nights in Prague, this is a great hotel, close to city center (about a 20 minute walk), and also a tram stop a block away, then just five stops into the city. As you're close to the river, it's nice to walk along there too. At the hotel, Stan and Dina were wonderful and full of great information, including the fact you can buy your tram ticket at the desk and charge it to the room. One less thing to worry about. Great breakfast in the morning with lots of selection. Would definitely stay here again if I get back to Prague. Collapse

Only stayed one night at this hotel in Prague. It was fairly easy to find via tram from the main station (I arrived from Berlin by train). The only thing I "hated" is all the cobblestones :) It's a pain in the backside when you're dragging a medium or big size suitcase... The hotel is a bit on the outskirts of the city centre. Still ok but not where most hotels are. It's next to a super market so that's convenient. and there are a few tram lines nearby. One stop that goes mainly towards the old town and the main station and the other stop by the river that also goes towards the old town but following the river banks. That one leads straight to the Charles Bridge. Hotel looks fairly recent, with friendly check-in agents. They said I was upgraded but not sure what to compare it with. The room is big, clean but a bit unpersonal. Looks like Novotels, standardized decoration and furniture. It's my first time in a Park Inn though but that's how I felt when I walked in. Everything else was good and as expected, no frills, comfy and clean. My rate included breakfast. It was good, the breakfast area is big and you can tell they welcome big groups on site. Despite that, it was easy to find a clean table and the waiters were around. Nobody asked me for my room number though, that felt a bit odd. Good selection of cold and hot items, nothing to complain about. Collapse
