I missed a connection due to flight delays, and British Airways put me up at this hotel. I went to the lounge to redeem my dinner voucher, and proceeded to wait, while the waiters served other tables and studiously ignored mine. After about 45 minutes, I walked up to the bar, and inquired whether I had to do anything special to get attention. One of the waiters manning the area finally sauntered in, and flippantly proceeded to advise me that I should have signaled once I was ready. This somehow didn't seem to apply to any of the other patrons. I decided to not run the risk of getting potentially spat-upon food, asked to see the supervisor/manager, and registered a complaint. Much as I would to like to ascribe it to low staffing, what I observed patiently for 45 minutes stinks of racism (I am Indian). Collapse
unsatisfactory state of affairs.

Arrived at Heathrow on the night of 15th of February , needed somewhere cosy to sleep, relax and work before heading west the next day. I knew this was a huge step down from actual Radisson Blu, but I had stayed here before, on the the 5th floor and it seemed fine there then, even though my car was damaged in the car park and the manager said they had no insurance or liability for their own car park contrary to their terms and conditions- This time round I did not have a car with me , so decided to stay here. I had booked a twin room. When we arrived at the reception, there appeared to be someone newly appointed manning the check in. CHECK IN She did not know what Air Miles or frequent flyer programmes were and she seemed to have trouble assigning us to a room. She said she had finally assigned a twin room, we went all the way up to the 3rd floor to find out it was just one double bed. I called straight away, the reception told us, we could go back down , so we did - they said they would assign a superior room on the ground floor. So we assumed this would be superior and had high expectations until we reached the corridor. ROOM CONDITION The smell of damp and humidity was so strong we had to literally cover our faces. This was an area rotten with damp covered with paint but nevertheless dampness all over. The room seemed tired, the pillow dirty and quite cold inside- as well as smelly- we put the vent on. I could not keep changing rooms all night, so I put up. SERVICE One of our keys never worked, the reception sorted it out in the morning and made our check out an hour later. Housekeeping staff are the best here though, They are prompt, friendly, helpful and quite efficient. They have a good selection of papers in the lobby. However, not enough time to relax with all the other worries brought about by unseemly sleeping quarters. FACILITIES: The Gym is always packed at every hour of the day because the outsiders can visit- and in fact most visitors in gym are in the locality, they are not guests. The same goes for the pool- the gym is too packed to be safe for guests. The receptionist on the day, I went at around 8 in the morning, was quite rude. I asked for a towel, his response was ' You gotta sign in mate first' that kind of language. then a female guests comes to sign in- he begins openly flirting making her and me so uncomfortable- she ignored his attempts, but nevertheless not a good experience for the guests. Room was clean quiet and comfortable. The shower wasn't particulalry hot but did'nt spoil my stay. Pool and spa was a great way to wind down after my long drive. Restaurant very pleasant and food I had was excellent (sea bass), though not used to paying £3.30 for a diet coke. There was a gift shop, coffee and lounge bar as well as restaurant. On the whole the staff were helpful and friendly but the check inn lady did come over as a little impatient as I had lots of questions to ensure the following morning went smoothly for me. I wish I could have stayed longer and explored a little but unfortunately was a one night work stay. Collapse

We stay here virtually every time we fly from Heathrow. It is never going to wine any prizes, but is so convenient and good value if you buy a 8 day car-park cost £129. We were in a standard room, 4315. Check in was a little fraught as it was a trainee who did not understand that we had car-parking already booked, but quickly cleared up and generally not a major issue. Room was fine, the bathroom is one of the best we have seen in a hotel of this type for some considerable time. Tea and coffee facilities and good TV. Generally I do recommend this hotel if you are travelling from heathrow. Transfer by bus is fairly quick, costs £4.50 per person if purchased at the hotel or £5pp on the bus. Collapse

I've stayed here over night and got the best welcome ever. Staff are very helpful and friendly, most of the guests are too. The hotel has everything your looking for in one place and a well equipped gym with steam room, sauna and indoor pool. Iabio Pittolo has been one person who stood out to me more than others during my visit here, he was down to earth and knows his job very well. Food was excellent, big plates and very tasty too. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Collapse
