My husband and I booked this 4* hotel as part of a show and stay package. After spending a lovely day enjoying the sites and having a tasty light lunch we went on to see a matinee theatre performance. Later we were taken to the Park Inn for our overnight stay to include breakfast. My husband had decided to pay extra for both of us to have a three course meal after the show. This was meant to be a lovely finish to an amazing day. When we arrived for our meal, the staff were not aware that our meal had been pre booked and we were told to wait while this was checked. We were then seated and told it was a buffet menu. This consisted of salad for starter and for main the choice was ravioli, steamed cabbage, fish and chicken and lumpy mashed potato and two choices of gateaux for dessert. Now we have eaten in various London hotels, but this has to be the worst experience ever. The coach party we were with all complained about the evening meal and we were informed that the organisers were going to put in an official complaint. Now for the good points. The room was very spacious and clean, unfortunately the room thermostat didn't work and it was a constant 24 degrees. The bathroom was large with fresh clean towels, shower gel and shampoo. The breakfast was much better with various choices to suit everyone (This was however after our trip organiser complained the night before) and the lobby was very modern with a large seating area. This hotel is a good location for staying overnight before a flight but I would recommend you eat out. Collapse

I used this hotel as part of their fly-drive package and it was a good choice. There is an obvious problem with overselling of parking space, but the package is good value and very near to Heathrow. Our upgraded room was faultless as were the staff

We had booked airport parking and a room for when we returned, after reading the reviews we were a bit worried about some things, but it was worrying for nothing. When we arrived before our holiday, found a parking space fairly easily. The car park is very busy, but there is parking all the way around the hotel as well as an overflow carpark over a little bridge. We found a space around the side almost to the back of the hotel. We went into the hotel to let them know we had parked, although there are machines dotted around for you to be able to do that if your in a rush. We were not and we wanted to see inside the hotel. The lobby is large and airy we were greeted by the receptionist and she confirmed our booking and parking. She advised us where to get the hopper and gave us a time table that proved invaluable when we returned off a 17 hour flight with muggy heads from jetlag! When we got back after our trip, the bus was easy to find and the timetable was easy to follow, we were served straight away when we arrived at the hotel but as we were early for check in, our room was not ready, however the lady offered us a room upgrade for a little bit extra which would be ready sooner. Being tired and ready to sleep, we were grateful for this and enjoyed a bacon sandwich and a coffee in the costa lounge at the hotel. Its not the cheapest coming in at £15 for two sandwiches and two large coffees but being an airport hotel and in London, I guess that is about right. We went up to our superior room and it was lovely, really modern, with a separate desk, dressing area with coffee making facilites and the bathroom was cleverly made to look larger than it was with the use of mirrors. The bath and shower were immaculate and the toiletries were dove, a nice touch. The bed was comfortable, and we were both asleep in minutes. We went for dinner in the restaurant and we had paid for dinner bed and breakfast at the hotel. The only thing I would say is that the menu for people who have paid for the evening meal is a little limited, you have to choose from the meal deal options, it would be nice to see a steak on this menu. We both opted for the duck rolls with hoisin sauce and they were a good size. I had the classic burger with chips and it was huge, I only managed to eat half. Hubby had the chicken penne pasta and again this was a good size. Dessert was the salted caramel chocolate brownie with caramel ice cream, it was really good! Hubby had the lemon tart and he said this was also really good. The waitress was friendly but trying to get the bill for the drinks was a bit difficult as they were quite busy. Breakfast in the morning was really good, there was plenty of choice, two types of egg, fried or scrambled, bacon, sausage, hash browns, beans, some chinese options such as noodles, and the usual continental options like cereal, pastries, meats, cheeses and fruit etc. Coffee is self serve and you unlimited, all in all a very nice breakfast and your not rushed. We would return again Collapse

I stayed here recently as part of my company booking. This review is an average of my two weekly stays because after my first week if I had written a review the review would have been much worse. Checkin was good on week 1 , served by a young man called Alejandro who was very good indeed . I thought to myself at this stage things have really improved. My room was good, well laid out, maintained, modern and clean. Getting to the room is a challenge as only one lift works and that was the same for the two weeks I stayed there. The restaurant now called RGB is very modern in its layout and ambience and the menu looks interesting. The prices for the menu are typical hotel prices where a burger for example will set you back about 14.50 when everywhere else it would be about £10.00. Water costs over £4.00 per bottle and a coke will cost you £3.15 for a small bottle. Typically for a 2 course meal with a drink or two it is going to cost you nearly £30.00. I am on company expenses with a fairly satisfactory allowance but I just feel so ripped off by these prices. At the start of my meal , I asked if I could just have bread and some butter as I was very hungry and didn't want to wait for a starter from the menu which I knew would take 5 or more minutes. The waiter wanted to charge me £3.50 for 2 very small pieces of bread and some butter. I had no issue with paying a small price for the food but £3.50 ?and for bread that would have been probably been used that evening for the soup and would have been thrown out later. You eat your meal without any real service provided, no check back, no offer of another drink, no offer of accompaniments and then you have to find someone if you dare to have coffee or dessert. Then you wait ages to get the bill! On week 2 I couldn't face eating in the restaurant again, so I had food elsewhere. However when I came back to the hotel, I thought I would eat in the bar whilst I did some work and have a cheeseboard. £8.25 for a cheeseboard! Well I thought I was going to get a really big plate of cheese and all the trimmings. WRONG! I got what I would describe as no bigger than 3 mouthfuls of cheese, lots of grapes that filled up the plate, crackers and a chutney. You know the portion was adequate for me however when you charge £8.25 I guess you expect something very much bigger. I stay in the Hilton Garden Inn often in this area and they charge £4.95 for a similar sized plate. Much more reasonable price. When I asked the server for some more chutney she wanted me to pay a supplement of £1.00, so I refused and asked to speak to the chef. The chutney appeared, no charge and no chef. I stopped staying at this hotel last year because of the service and I am going to stop again. I only stay here because of the company arrangement with this hotel. So apart from Alejandro who checked me in, Fabio the Room Service Manager who is great by the way and a elderly looking concierge person the service from the rest of the team is lacking. I don't blame them , it's down to leadership from above. One quick example to illustrate this, at night in the restaurant the supervisor is where? Yes they are camped at the door hosting and taking your room number. How can they see the team perform if they are not visible in the dining area? They don't table touch and on the way out they don't thank you for your visit, they don't say good night to you and they don't ask if you have enjoyed your meal! I have been a hotelier and restauranteur for most of my life, been involved in catering since I was 15, I am now 51 and it saddens me greatly to experience service like this. Next week is my last stay with you. Park Inn Heathrow is now being "parked" by me for good. Collapse

We enjoyed an unexpected but very pleasant stay at Park Inn Heathrow. A great place to stay. It was so easy to get around with busses going every direction regularly. It was a comfortable, enjoyable and cheap way to travel.
