A bit like going back in time. Generally quite a tired hotel and boring/soulless place. The room's big but uninviting and had a strange quite bad smell. The bed is uncomfortable and the windows are thin which means a cold room. The TV is ridicilously small and the reception is poor, freezes etc. I had dinner in the restaurant (the kitchen closes at 9:30 by the way) but that was quite disappointing too. Veggie options are minimal so had noodles with Tofu. It was tastless and tastetd as if it had been heated in the microwave (at least it did not taste freshly cooked) so only managed half of it. At breakfast, I thought, I'd have scrambled egg and toast and maybe some beans, so did not ask for much but the eggs were nearly all gone and didn't fancy cold left-overs. Baked beans looked equally uninviting. Again not much choice unless you want sausage and bacon which I didn't and even if I had, there were only two sausages left along with some bacon rolls.. How exciting, I mean have we not moved on from bacon roll. On to toast then but guess what - only white bread surprise, surprise.. So I only had a croissant and a cup of coffee. This review is after the first night so hopefully I was just unlucky with the breakfast. Fingers crossed it will improve. It can only get better surely.. Collapse

This is not a good quality hotel, all double beds are just singles pushed together, which makes them uncomfortable, furnishings in the room are of a cheap quality and the cleanliness in the bathroom was questionable shower tiles were badly discoloured through soap toilet seat had a burn mark on it. Breakfast is of a poor quality not much to choose and not particularly hot just about warm and you have to notify the staff to replenish the food as this is not kept a check on. Collapse

We arrived on Friday evening and got a room straight away. The room was basic but very clean spacious and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Saturday night we were in the bar and the barmaid Victoria was so lovely and nothing was to much for her when she was about to close the bar she made sure we had a drink and didn’t rush us. This girl should be made a bar supervisor or manager as she has the right attitude and has a smile for everyone. Manager varaj (sorry for the spelling) was very friendly and had time for guests. Stayed in the Radisson last weekend on Friday through to Saturday. The Reception staff were very pleasant and checking in was efficient the room was a sea view .room, quite spacious bed was comfortable. However it wasn't that clean especially the bathroom, stains on the carpet and chair, the windows had bird crap on which had been there ages, not a lot of storage space, one drawer, and 5 hangers ok for one night but not any longer. The hotel is definitely in need of a bit of tlc and better cleaning standards. Breakfast was very disappointing i didn't have the cooked breakfast as it didn't look up to much , just cereal and toast can't go wrong with that my husband had the cooked breakfast and said it wasn't all that. Also i do wish other guests should be a bit more considerate when coming in in the early hours 3.3o am shouting at the tops of their voices and slamming doors people are sleeping. Would we stay again probably not for the price we paid £113 per night, its a shame because i think it could be a great hotel, and the staff were lovely with service with a smile. Collapse

We stayed in 517, the room was HUGE! We had a large double bed, sofa, table/chairs and a large work desk and an iron and ironing board, tea and coffee facilities plus a safe but no fridge. The bathroom had a shower only. Our view was directly in front of the Pier and the amusement park, it was gorgeous. The staff on reception were extremely nice, and it was no problem to bring us extra bedding. Shower worked well with good pressure and it was a quiet room so we slept very well. It was handy for me to literally cross the road into the shopping centre whilst hubby worked in peace and quiet. We didn't stay for breakfast as we had been recommended to try a locally recommended place. Collapse
