After staying at the hotel for the first time I was keen to check it out on booking.com before going and thinking oh great! Little pool, sauna steam room fab. Rooms look ok despite previous reviews on here about the room quality. I found the showers in the room awful with no power at all, the sauna and steam room were dirty and whilst sat in the jacuzzi relaxing after a long day at work a member of the gym came out coughed up vile form all over the floor next to me, and all over the water dispenser I then went and got changed in the changing rooms which were far from ideal, again poor shower with no power at all and dirty floors and lime scale in the shower part. On one of the nights I was rudely awoken by the sound of screams and shouting to them find the police outside my room at 4.30am in the morning for half an hour However the staff of the hotel and the food in the restaurant is amazing slightly over priced in my opinion but tasted nice regardless. You should be thanking the staff and the chef for getting any stars at all. Collapse

A very nice place to stay! I visited Nottingham with friends for a gig and we decided to stay here as the price was very good indeed! The rooms were very nice - clean and large enough for 2 to share. The bathroom was also nice and big with a very good shower too! We chose the breakfast option and it was well worth it - a cooked 'full English' buffet, cereals, continental and fruit options with tea, coffee and various juices seemed to satisfy everyone. Highly recommended to all! Collapse
Well placed for Nottingham City Centre

Stayed 2 nights over Easter weekend, having stayed at least half a dozen times before. CCTV covers car parks - remember to give your registration when booking in for free parking. Positioned on Mansfield Road just over a mile from Nottingham City Centre. Easy to catch the bus or taxi but we always walk as it's a straight road down to the shops/city centre. Requested a quiet room on third (top) floor and was given a small double room at the back of the hotel overlooking rear car park (room 370). Double bed faced window and you had to side-shuffle past the end of the bed to get to the bathroom as less than one foot of space once curtains were closed. This was definitely the smallest room we have ever had here as always been allocated king-size or super king-size bed (2 singles zipped together). Had to ask reception for extra pillow as there was only 3 in the room, not 4, which made us think it is usually reserved for single occupancy. Linen delivery lorry woke us both mornings at 7.40am for loading/unloading. As with all Park Inn rooms, bathroom has large walk-in shower with complimentary Dove liquid soap (sink) and shampoo/body wash (shower). Open-plan wardrobe. Room safe (ours was locked!). Complimentary PG Tips tea bags with awful sachets of coffee (take a hint from Premier Inn and change your supplier to Kenco). Ate breakfast both days in their RBG in house restaurant. Usual full English, cereals, fruit, croissants, etc. Decent coffee/cappuccino/latte machine. Orange fruit juice had definitely been watered down. No longer have individual yogurts offering one large bowl of natural yogurt instead. We ate dinner on the first evening having soup to start followed by burger and fries plus glass of wine which was offered as £35 for 2 people. We ate at the Grosvenor Pub over the road on the second night which is much better value for money. There is a small swimming pool with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room opened approximately 10 hours per day. We missed housekeeping as we didn't leave our room until 10.40am on the first morning so had to request clean towels, tea bags etc from Reception. Staff are polite and hard working. Rooms and hotel is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is very good (£7.50 per person). Good location. Free parking with CCTV. Free wi-fi. Definitely recommend if you need a "cheapish" hotel near Nottingham City Centre. Collapse

It's a branded property and it delivers on brand standards. Nothing exceptional. Fairly bland 1960's build. Rooms are a bit on the pokey side and you need to be careful how quick you spin round in the shower room. The power in the shower needs a bit of a boost. But everything worked as expected. One of those hotels where it's difficult to remember which city you are in until you either look out of the window or check your diary. Good location on edge of the city centre, easy to find with good on site parking facilities. Close to tram and bus services.. Collapse
