If it wasn’t with my sister I would say it is a good place for couples. But the design of the bathroom and toilet is embarrassing. Couldn’t have a proper rest at it Collapse

We just got back from a 3 night stay. The hotel is so central it couldn't be better. Just jump on a train from the airport and it takes you to within a stones throw of the hotel. It's also great for underground and trams plus there is a Christmas market literally outside the front door. We arrived at the hotel to a 30 minute queue to check in which isn't great after a day of travelling. We had read other reviews about the pillows being thin and no kettle so we asked at reception and these were brought up in about 10 mins. One thing the hotel most definitely needs to sort out is the house keeping. We were on floor 24 and every morning around 8am they would knock and open the door even though we had the do not disturb sign on. One afternoon they even returned (not sure why exactly..) at about 4pm and opened the door to me changing! If you're staying here I'd suggest locking the room from the inside as the do not disturb clearly isn't understood! Collapse

We stayed at the park in for the Christmas markets and I couldn’t recommend it more Location - two minutes from alexanderplatz station. Really easy to get from the airport Room- room was basic but nice! Decent sized bed and tv. I was apprehensive over seeing photos of the showers but there is a curtain. Probably wouldn’t have felt comfortable if I was with family members of the opposite sex in the room. We upgraded our room to a city view for €15 a night. This overlooked the Christmas markets perfectly from the 30th floor! Shower is really good. Id recommend asking for more pillows, I kept meaning too and forgetting/couldn’t be bothered to go back downstairs. No tea making facilities but there is a hairdryer and you can request an iron! Food- we didn’t eat at the hotel. Breakfast buffet was something ridiculous like €19 each Staff - can’t fault the staff at all! So attentive, polite and welcoming! Safe - there is a good sized safe in the room free to use WiFi- there was a cost so we didn’t use this Tips- - we used to ledge between the two window panes as a ‘fridge’ for drinks as no fridge in room. This worked perfect on the winter - if you find you’ve forgotten anything don’t panic! There is a primark right outside the hotel - don’t be lazy like me and ask for more pillows as one is not enough! - a public transport day ticket is only €7.70 and you can use it on trams also. Don’t forget to validate it at the machines next to the ticket machines! - I’d definitely recommendation the Stasi prison tour! €6 and extremely interesting Collapse

Once you have accomplished the queue of checking in which can be a while, our room was a twin bedded, itself pleasant. Be warned the wash basin is outside in your room, separate toilet and again shower. No tea and coffee facilities but you can request a kettle. Room had a safe and hairdryer, for a short visit the storage for clothes was just a wardrobe but ok as only there 4 nights. The buffet breakfast is included and was excellent as also the lunchtime and evening buffet at €20 each. The Spagos bar also serves nice food and drinks. No toilet there you have to pay €1 to use the public one on the ground floor or go to your room. Collapse
