I have stayed at this hotel many times and I love staying here when I’m in SF! Rooms are nice and spacious with beautiful views, and staff is very professional (special shout out to Maria who checked me in!). Elevators are digitally programmed to insure the least amount of waiting time and eliminating the unpleasant experience of being squished in an elevator like sardines. Beautiful bar area and the location is superb. You can not go wrong with this hotel. Collapse

When checking out asked who we could contact about stay issues (no hot water for a day) and they said Trip advisor, so here we are. Good luck here, Can mention other issues like booking issues. Hilton website, booking two separate back to back same rooms being cheaper than a continuous stay. did that here and got into a whole issue of problems in spite of assurances from Natalia that it would be OK. Disappointed . Collapse

The Parc 55 is a San Francisco gem! This was our second stay, and we enjoyed it as much as the first time we stayed there. It is located close to the trolleys and buses, so getting to places is not an issue. Though I do believe that if you are in San Francisco you should be prepared to walk-uphill and down hill. Walking is the best way to see all of the nuances that make San Francisco what it is. The hotel staff are beyond helpful and incredibly friendly. Breakfast every morning was amazing. There was a wide variety of food and, again, the staff was so friendly! Our room was comfy and large and clean. We will certainly stay there again. Collapse

My husband is a diamond member, often staying in Hilton's more nights than at home. As a result, we stay at Hiltons on vacation, as well. We debated between this property and the Hilton a block away and I am SO happy with our choice. Our room on the 20th floor was mostly very quiet - huge plus! The King bed was comfortable and the junior suite was the perfect size for our family of 4. Breakfast was just enough and it was fun having the traditional chinese breakfast options. There were more than an adequate number of elevators, so we never waited more than about 1 minute. For a big, busy city and hotel, this was very well maintained. Sure, the bathrooms could use an update but we were not there for spa time :). The water was hot and had great pressure. We were just fine with the older tile and walls, because that didn't matter at all! Again, a quiet room is what matters most, for us anyway. Great views from one end of the bar/restaurant, as well. I recently spent 4 nights at the Parc 55 and had a great experience. I reserved a junior suite and after a couple hours in my room was told I had been upgraded to a king suite. Woohoo! The junior suite was pretty nice but the suite was fantastic - two rooms, two bathrooms and a panoramic 270 degree view of the city of San Francisco from the 31st floor. I could see the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge off in the distance. Nice! Special shoutout to Alberto and Gwendolyn who hooked me up with the suite - thanks thanks thanks! The room was extraordinarily quiet and the bed was comfortable. I very much enjoyed the gigantic shower with two shower heads and lots of steamy hot water. All of the windows in the suite featured power curtains that were controlled by wall switches that looked out of the 70’s, but they worked great. As much as anything I was impressed by the hotel’s elevators - incredibly responsive. I never waited longer than two or three seconds for an elevator and most of the time the elevator door opened as soon as I keyed in the floor I needed on the vestibule keypad. Amazing. I ate breakfast in the lobby restaurant every morning and I really enjoyed it. As a Hilton Diamond member, I received the continental part of the buffet for free and it was like a $10 up-charge for the other side of the buffet, which I never used. The continental side of the buffet was really quite good - super fresh berries and other fruits, yogurt, lots of nice muffins and pastries, steel cut oatmeal, cereal, etc. There were lots of good looking things on the hot side too, including a lot of Asian influenced dishes like congee and noodles, but as I mentioned I didn’t partake. I never had meals outside of breakfast at the hotel restaurants but the conference food was pretty good. The gym was large and serviceable. Lots of cardio equipment as well as some strength training stuff and dumbbells. The location of the hotel is very handy for BART (Powell Street station) and the cable car - both are literally across the street - as well as lots of shopping and restaurants. I used Lyft several times and the cars were there in a minute or two. Lots of homeless and derelicts in the immediate neighborhood but that’s not really the hotel’s fault, it seems to be a San Francisco problem. Nobody ever bothered me but I saw two people get busted trying to steal from a store across the street from the hotel and the policeman at the door said he had stopped nine thefts that day. Goodness gracious. Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay at the Parc 55 and would surely consider staying there again. The room furnishings could probably be updated but the room I had was great anyway. There’s no club for elite members but the upgrades and breakfast were for me top notch. Thanks Parc 55! Collapse
