The hotel it is ok for 3 stars. I booked this hotel with half board. The room was clean end also the amenities, the pool, the restaurant. The breakfast was ok, plenty of food to eat and also the dinner, if you were there at the time stetted. The problem was the personal from the restaurant. Not once i notice that the waiter put some clients to get up from the table that they were seated because that table was for a larger group. I think all the clients get the idea that we had to sit at the table suitable for the number of people of your group. The reaction of the waiter was inappropriate, he was mad and he talked with the client in a rude way. Also, another problem was with the food form breakfast or dinner in case of eating earlier or later then the program established. Two times we were late to dinner, because we went to Granada and Gibraltar and when we arrived at the hotel to eat, the surprise was big: some salad leaves, 5 olives, a very little peace of meat and a glass of orange juice. The same food was if you wanted to eat earlier then 8.30 , the our settled for breakfast. In rest was ok. Collapse

Spent 8 nights here last week and had a very good holiday. This is in the main an all-inclusive hotel but we stayed half-board. The breakfasts were very good with all the usual ingredients but the evening meals especially the main courses were less so. One of the meats on offer was 'pig's head'. I couldn't tell you what this was like as I stayed well clear!! I usually had salad instead which I admit was very nice indeed. The soups and deserts were very good so I finished up with a decent meal. If like us you stayed half board you couldn't get a drink at the bar after 11pm because it was closed. I suppose that the all-inclusives had had enough by then but we couldn't have a night-cap after we had been out. Therefore we didn't bother- we just stayed out. Rooms were very good and clean and no complaints at all about the hotel in general. i o Collapse

We booked this hotel as an all inclusive stay, off the back of write ups here on trip advisor and arrived about 2pm. We had decided to get taxis instead of normal transfers to see the cost difference. In the end it was a little bit cheaper plus we weren't stuck on a bus as it 'did the rounds'. Check in was very easy and we opted for a safe, €20 with €18 deposit. We were on the 4th floor so being super fit we took the lift. Our room was basic but very clean with a bath/shower, wardrobes and a telly. Our room had an awesome shower. So powerful you needed no soap. it blasted the muck off. We did find it odd that it had twin beds but this did seem to be the norm, talking to other guests. Could be an advantage i presume lol but we pushed them together. I have no photos of the room due to the instant pig sty affect my lass has when her case is opened but as a place to crash it was better than other places we have stayed. Lunch, and all meals are buffet style, as is the norm, and all were okay. Nothing special, but i did hear grumbles about it. I wasn't brave enough to try the 'Secret Pork' as it conjoured up strange images of where it came from, that it had to be so 'Secret'. There was always something we could find to eat from salads (booo) thru cold meat, soup, hot meals, fruit n puds incl ice cream. BEWARE... the green is not mint. It's pistachio lol plus, you can eat your body weight in chocolate sprinkles. Snacks are available throughout the day at the bar; little pastries, biscuits and ice cream tubs and in the cookhouse after lunch: burgers, chips, pizza and the like. The bar out by the pool serves the usual spirits and the beer taps and pop machine are self service off to the side. There are also some cocktails included in all inclusive. It has limited seating but there are plenty of sunbeds poolside and on the grass surrounding which was always clean and tidy. We thought the bar shut at 11pm, however, it is open later, but all incl stops at 11, so you will have to pay after that time so get them in early. A vodka and orange was €6. The night time entertainment was par for the course and usually ended in a bit of karaoke should you feel the urge to strut your stuff. I won't post the vid of my lass singing tho as death would be a more pleasing outcome than her wrath. A rear gate takes you to the beach, which is about 100m walk but you do have to cross a road to get to it. On return, the gate is opened with your room key but is locked at 9pm so you will have to walk round round to the front of the hotel. No biggie tho. Takes 2 mins. There are a couple of eateries along the sea front that, from chatting to other guests are good value with good grub. There is a 'brit pub' around the corner serving Sunday lunch and an Irish bar further down the prom. If you want your tabs or baccy, a shop is round the corner from the hotel. Follow the big red sign that says 'Tabacus'. Opens 10am til 2pm, then 4.30pm til 8.30pm. Bout half the price of here at home. A taxi into Torremalinos town centre is about 6 Euros and they are plentiful. Reception will ring for you. It's a great town with plenty of choice for eateries and a general mooch and shops are open late. Even got a poundland called Dealz!!! We found all the staff to be polite and helpful with the reception staff always on hand to help and not laughing at my pitiful spanish. We had one day of constant rain but it was warm rain, so took ourselves off along the prom to Benalmadina harbour. Took us a couple of hours but we did stop for lunch, and a couple of obligatory cocktails en route so filled our afternoon. The bus back was €1.60 each which seems good value. By all accounts, the bus, which stops at the rear of the hotel, and trains from town are a good budget way of exploring. Our flight home was at death o'clock so had to get a taxi at 4am. The night before we booked a wake up call and they laid on a cold brekkie; ham, cheese, rolls and fruit with copious amounts of coffee for us and unfortunate others. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would go back there if nothing else than to use it as a base to explore the surrounding area. Enjoy your stay. Collapse
