I had read the reviews from some people and was a little apprehensive about some aspects of the hotel. I should not have been. The check in at reception was quick and easy. The man spoke good English and was very helpful with information about meals etc. My room was on the 7th floor and lifts worked well, so no problems with the amount of luggage we had. Key card worked for the door and the lights, something some people seem to have a problem understanding. My second stay was just as good, although I did have to have the door card reset because it stopped working. Took me all of 2 minutes to go to reception to have it done by the very helpful staff. The room was larger than UK hotel rooms and had 3 beds in it. There was a large wardrobe, with mirrored doors, floor to ceiling, so how somebody can say there were no mirrors is just incorrect. There was an additional mirror in the room and another in the bathroom. The beds were made each day and the rooms cleaned by the excellent cleaning ladies. We had booked half board, so were waiting to see if the restaurant was as good or bad as people had said. We need not have worried. The head waiter is a very nice and helpful man. He has great staff, working so hard to make sure tables are cleaned and ready for guests, no matter how messy the guests are. The food is very well presented, offering salads, hot food and desserts. The food is always replenished when it runs low. Drinks are available at very reasonable prices at the small bar in the restaurant. The wine is of a good quality, no matter how discerning you may think you are. Wifi is free and available throughout the hotel. I stayed on both the 7th and 10th floors with no problems whatsoever. Flat screen TV is in each room, with some English channels, but if you know how to use the facility, you can change the dubbed language of some Spanish channels back to English. There are 3 pools, the main swimming pool, a Jacuzzi and a children's pool. All are very clean and regularly serviced. Not sure about the PH of them, but I used them with no problems or turning green. There is a huge area to sunbathe, both grassed and concrete. Sunbeds are provided free of charge and the palm trees provide shade from the sun if necessary. There is a games room and play area for children. Pool tables are also here and do charge all of 1 Euro to play. The hotel is less than 3 minutes from the beach (use the rear entrance) and parking is also provided free of charge. There is a phone in each room aall with balconies as well. We had a wooden desk and chair, as well as patio table and 3 chairs, so having nowhere to sit is just not true. This hotel caters more for families, so if you want to stay out on the front or in town until some unearthly hour, this hotel is not for you. Noise is kept to a minimum and people behave themselves here. Collapse

A friend and I went for a few days away here and booked self catering. With this description we expected a fridge, hob, etc.... The description would have been more accurate had it been called ‘room only’ as there were no facilities to cater ourselves. The rooms were clean however when the cleaners came during the day, the bin wasn’t emptied and the sides were not wiped- it was just, clean towels and bed made. The beds were very comfortable and clean with plenty of bedding. Round the corner there are bars, shops and cafes and the beach is a 2 minutes walk. There is also a bus to take you in to town and the taxi is not much if you choose to do that instead. There was entertainment downstairs but it we didn’t see it as it catered towards older people which was understandable at this time of year, as this was the majority of their custom. Overall pleasant stay. Collapse

Good location near shops, restaurants and the beachfront. Staff were friendly and helpful. The balcony was sunny in the morning and for much of the day. The room would have benefitted from at least one easy chair. The beds were fine. We were disappointed to find that the only TV channels available in English were news channels; with so many British expats living in the area we had expected to find dramas, films, etc in English too, but that's obviously not the hotel's fault. The breakfast was excellent. Although we did not book all-inclusive, we chose to pay to eat dinner in the hotel most nights, because we found the food so varied and tasty. There was always a wide range of salads. Some of the cooked dishes were not hot enough for most people's taste. The parking was convenient, though I wonder whether it's adequate if the hotel's full. All in all we thought the hotel very good value for money. Collapse

I had just arrived to the hotel it has a lively set up but when I checked into my room the room was tiled and dark. There where two single beds on wheels for some reason even though I had assumed a twin room would mean twin bed. I just zipped tied them together because why not, an hour after arriving I went into our bathroom and found I couldn’t get out again. I was stuck in there for over an hour, with no window and in the dark because my boyfriend had to take the key to get back in the room after he went to get someone and I had the other one. The next day I was treated to a hot (cold) meal and the food was bland at least. The staff where no help when I went back up to my room and was locked out for about half an hour because the lock was dodgy. The mirror on the wall was higher than the top of my head when I sat down to do my makeup, the lighting was terrible so i did it in the bathroom. The bathroom was nicer than the bedroom ?? There was no where for us to actually sit down except on the beds.Wouldn’t stay again to be honest. Collapse
