I first stayed here September 2016, there was 4 of us (two couples) Staff friendly, good choice of food and drinks for all inclusive. The rooms were dated but the rest of the hotel was great. The indoor pool & gym hadn't been finished yet. We enjoyed our stay, so booked as a family of 8 for 9 nights July 2017. I had previously emailed the hotel asking if all rooms could be next to each other & this had been done on arrival. My niece was 6months pregnant and the hotel kindly gave her tickets to use on the bus so she could travel for free. The majority of staff are really friendly and helpful. My niece was unwell one day and didn't make it to the restaurant. I explained this to one of the restaurant staff & asked if he'd be ok with me taking food to her room. He was happy for me to do this. Our rooms had been revamped since our last stay. Much nicer. Our rooms had the towels changed, beds made & bins emptied everyday. Not sure how much time went into sweeping the floors or cleaning the bathroom, bare minimum if that. One of our rooms air conditioning wasn't working properly, but after mentioning to reception a couple of times it was fixed. I asked reception a few days in a row for additional pillows which I never got. Small inconvenience I suppose. The hotel states no hen/stag groups but on the Friday/Saturday/Sunday around the pool it was clear the large groups of hen/stag parties. It was really over crowded around the pool. Some groups were quite rowdy and the security had to ask them to behave. Apart from the steep hill (which didn't bother us ) and the slight under cleaning of the rooms, I would definitely stay again. This was out first family holiday taking our 7 year old son abroad. We chose the hotel on recommendation of our travel agent and also the passed for unlimited entry into Mundomar, Aqualandia, Terra Mitica and Iberia Park swayed us. We visited between 12th-19th July 2017 on an all inclusive basis. The food was fantastic, plenty of choice and breakfast included all sorts from cooked full English to cereal to continental to churros with chocolate dip! Drinks available are excellent - we were surprised that proper brands like Smirnoff/Bacardi were used as usually you get the cheap local spirits. The bar staff aren't shy with the spirits either haha. Rooms have been recently redone and they are spacious with comfortable beds. Daily towel changing and making of beds is available. We were on the 3rd floor and the noise from the air conditioning unit was not an issue at all. The air conditioning in the rooms was really effective. Pool choice is great as there's an indoor one which is dead quiet - this was great to build our son's confidence before going into the outdoor pool which can get busy at times but by the end of our 7 night holiday he was literally swimming like a fish in the deep end! Lifeguards are really canny. Never came across any rude staff, they were all polite and helpful. Our son loved going into the Coco kids club hut to colour in or have his face painted. The mini disco wasn't his thing but he enjoyed playing in the outdoor play area. There's also a games area where you can pay to play air hockey, pool etc for a small cost. Also free Wi-Fi available in the communal areas of the hotel. We knew the hotel was on a bit of a hill prior to booking. We used the free courtesy bus to the beach on occasions and other just walked and we're not the fittest people around. Mundomar and Aqualandia are in walking distance - we went to Mundomar and it was a fantastic day out. All in all we had a fantastic holiday which was excellent value for money!!! :-D Collapse

First the good points, breakfast was excellent with a large choice and was all situated that you were never queuing. The room (115) was refurbished to a good standard and was clean on arrival but that is about it for the plus points as the negatives far outweighed them. Someone previous had said all the rooms had a pool view but ours just looked over the top of the building with the reception beneath it but we also had the main hotel air conditioning unit just 25 metres from our balcony. The unit was about a third of the size of a shipping container but the main problem was the noise it generated from 7.00am until about 11.15pm, it was like being next to a testing facility for jet engines and in most industries here you would be forced to wear ear protection The location is on top of a hill that unless you are an elite athlete in training you could never manage the journey back and the taxis cost about 7 euro but they drop you short of the hotel as the turning circle in front has the barrier permanently closed leaving you still a steep climb and many steps or long ramp to the summit! The free shuttle that operates during the day up to around 8.00pm is great and never had to wait long and the driver was very helpful in helping my elderly mum in and out of the mini bus. I think Spain has a different method of assessing for stars to its hotels and this is never a 4* We have been going to Spain for over 40 years and waiter service even in the most humble of bars was always good but here we sat on the bar terrace but it was obvious that you had to go to the bar yourself, this would not be such a big problem but at just past 8.00pm you would have expected more the 1 person behind the bar serving with a queue forming like a football match at half time and served in plastic glasses because they don’t have staff on to clear tables and serve the customers. We stayed b&b but I understand it is mixed with some guests all-inclusive and I would not have booked this if I had known, all-inclusive are fine but a hotel should be one or the other and not a halfway house. We were only having a 3night stay thankfully but would I return? Definitely NOT Collapse

Stayed at the palm beach for 1 week in July with my family as all inclusive had a really good time, couldn't fault the hotel at all apart from the location.. before going on holiday here I was reading some of the reviews on here was getting me worried about coming on holiday at the hotel but glad I came & had a good experience! staff were all friendly & helpful, some reviews on here say the staff are rude but I honestly never came across any rude staff they were always full of smiles & jokes at the bar.. there was 2 life guards but there was 1 life guard that was brilliant he took his time out to help my little girl swim & give good tips on how to try to swim and I was so happy and grateful because it was a nice welcoming feeling knowing that he cares for the people he watches around the pool and it really put a smile on my daughters face the rooms were recently refurbished & looked nice & clean.. air conditioning worked.. cleaner comes in daily to give fresh towels & make beds etc from 3rd floor up I'd say you'd have a good pool view food was decent & the puddings were yummy! They were my fav the night entertainment they have a kids disco at 9 that gives the kids something to keep them occupied then after that they do different things at night.. there's a pool table & air hockey table that's good fun too occupies kids.. they also have a little play park outside where kids hang about which is where everyone ends up making friends or the kids club the hotel offer free theme park tickets if you stay all inclusive for 1 week or more & it's definitely a bargain I'd say ☺️ I went to them all & glad I did what a great experience & makes the holiday even more fun on Thursday's the have a bouncy castle thing in the pool until 1 which is great fun for everyone! I haven't really got anything bad to say about the hotel the only moan is the location because it's far from everywhere else but it does also have its good points of it for not being so loud at nights for people to get to sleep if there early bedders haha!! But it's easily to walk down to the town center & if you don't want to walk it's only 6 euros there or back so not too far really I'm just probably lazy that doesn't like to walk much on holiday haha!! We have just came back from our second family holiday in Benidorm, this time I chose Palm Beach Hotel as its within a walking distance from aqualandia water park. Chech-in was flawless, all the receptionist speaks English. Our room was in 7th floor (705), clean, everything was where it should be. Kids has endless entertainments from table football tournament to water basketball. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, variety of choices and very tasty. Drinks in the bar, wide varieties of cocktails at affordable prices. Most credit to staff, every department plays their roles to perfection and made our stay very pleasant. Staff at Palm beach hotel are highly professional. Would easily recommend this hotel and guarantee a stay when I'm next in Benidorm. Collapse
