This is our 3rd time staying in the Palace, and it never fails to impress. Such friendly staff at the front desk. A car service to drop you anywhere you want to go. Breakfast is spectacular!! All you can eat buffet, fresh oimlettes made to orde in front of you, variety of hot and cold foods fresh fruit and bread, delicious. Really tasty Thai restaurant on the top floor definitely worth a trip to. Both an indoor pool and roof top infinity pool which is beautiful and perfect for getting that great selfie snap. Also in the hotel 5 star spa - again staff are super friendly and it's so relaxing, I enjoyed it so much I had 3 treatments. The palace is situated in a great location walking distance front the town centre Silema and water front and right across the bay from the beautiful capital of Valletta, view is amazing from the balcony. Highly highly recommend staying in the palace if visiting Malta. It's such good value, very reasonably priced for what you get - excellence. Collapse

We stayed here for a week over the Easter period, in one of the design suites (flavours) the attention to detail in the suite was amazing, lots of interesting things from the 50/60s and the suite itself was very spacious, including the balcony, which was well furnished and overlooked the town, with a sea view of Valletta - all very lovely. The hotel is in the old town a dew minutes walk from the water front, some steep streets to navigate, but lots to see of interest. It's ideal as the transport for the island is great from here, whether going by sea, taxi or public bus. There's plenty to see in Sleima and the hotel staff were really good at giving information and booking trips. There is nice outside space for drinks and coffee and the roof top has bars and also an infinity pool. This was a relaxing stay, helped by staff who knew what they were doing and all, without exception were well trained and courteous. If we go to Malta again this hotel would be top of my list. It's not on the beach front, but is a little oasis, in what can be a busy town Collapse

If you want a comfortable and peaceful accommodation with excellent location in Sliema, choose the Palace. The hotel is close to the shops and restaurants in Sliema, but not in the noisy area of Sliema. The hotel has very helpful and friendly staff. We arrived before 10.00 am, but we got our room ready in a half an hour, which usually never is possible with hotels generally. A special thank you goes to the lady who was in charge of house keeping in our room. We slept late, but our room was always tidied extremely well and she was always so friendly. Another big pro is Prestige Cabs Malta, which has a headquarter in the hotel. The drivers are very friendly and you can take a normal taxi or a private chauffeur to explore Malta. The breakfast in room is good value for the money. The food quality is excellent and you have lots of options to choose from. You can design even your own omelette. The only improvement we would hope is that the bed and the furniture were renewed. The mattress was quite old and needs to be changed. Collapse

This hotel has a bit of everything.. it is great in some aspects but terrible in some. GREAT: The rooms are incredibly huge, clean and amazing. All amenities included and if you need anything, someone will promplty come up to repenish. The beds are so comfortable. Breakfast is huge.. a lot of variety and top notch quality food. Outside pool on the 9th floor.. lovely view, quiet but was quite dirty Not so good: Indoor pool smelt of bleach to the point where we couldnt stay in there for more than 3 mins. We literally had to leave.. we could not breathe. Also, spa was generally tacky with a random metal pin by the pool. Unfortunately, I was not very much impressed by the staff. They rarely smile or say anything except yes or no or what do you want..unfortunately whilst check out took less than 3mins, it took me 10mins to get my luggage in a luggage room. Whilst waiting on the side, three front office personnel failed to at least acknowledge me as well as two managers who happened to be doing an interview in the lobby. (When thye finished, they passed by.. looked at me and just walked inside. Made me feel quite lousy. Finally, a lovely guy from concierge came about and took care of it. Collapse
An enjoyable experience topped by the fish night buffet.
