There is not much wrong I can say about this Hotel. Well there is a little negative but I will get to that later. This is a wonderfully situated hotel with the easiest of access to the local public transport system and tourist sites. The presentation of the rooms were without fault and the very modern but luxurious feel of the whole hotel is very welcomed. One of my sons is in a wheelchair and shared an accessible room with his brother. This too was well appointed and without fault. Despite all the positives of this hotel its most valuable asset and the jewel in its crown is its staff. They are the friendliest i have met in all the hotels that I have been to in a while. During our week long stay one of my sons needed emergency dental work. This was daunting for us in an unknown city especially due to our inability to speak french. Within minutes the reception staff had booked an appointment for him and had a taxi waiting for us to take him to the dentist. It made the experience a lot less stressful. One of my other sons turned 16 while staying at the hotel and Ben (concierge) went out of his way to ensure the room was decorated and with special treats on my sons return to his room at the end of the day. Thank you Benjamin!!! I mentioned at the beginning one negative and that would be the breakfast. It was over priced and the quality of the food was lacking. We ended up going to a local baker over the road most days to buy our breakfast for a lot less. Breakfast aside this is truly a hotel worth staying at. Well done Novatel Les Halles. You deserve the highest accolades. Collapse

- Location is good. - Right behind the metro (chatelet-les halles) - connected to many lines of metro as well as RER - good service, friendly staffs - My initial request regarding room was granted. seems they read the comments customers write carefully - I had a bathroom sink draining problem from day 1 and they fixed it right away. - Breakfast is wonderful - Overall very satisfied and would like to visit again Collapse

We just had to get out of Hotel Castex and to our good fortune, Novotel Les Halles had a room come available during Paris Fashion Week. We high tailed it over there early in the morning even though our room wasn't ready, the lovely Justine at reception checked us in, took care of our luggage and sent us back out into the Paris morning. The location is really good despite the footpath directly outside the hotel being dug up (along with almost every part of Paris ATM!) but the metro station is right outside the door along with good restaurants and shopping. In saying that, Taxis have to drop you off or collect you from the side street but it is only a couple of minutes walk from the door of the hotel. We had one of the refurbished exec rooms and they are very nice, beds are soooo luxurious and I was very excited to see a real hairdryer in the bathroom. My one criticism of the room would be that the lighting is very dim with no central ceiling lights and I struggled at night finding items in my suitcase due to the really poor lighting. Our room wasn't serviced at all one day of our stay, but we informed reception in the evening as we were heading out to dinner and it was taken care of by the time we returned. The staff were fantastic, very welcoming and helpful and we really enjoyed the spaciousness this hotel offered. Will definitely return here should Paris feature in our plans in the future. Collapse

I stayed here from the 4th October through to 7th October 2017, whilst attending a conference in Paris. Good central location and just opposite a train station, so pretty close to all the tourist attractions, you can't get more central. Rooms are extremely clean with fresh decor and comfortable. Good place to stay if your on business and or for a city break. However this hotel seems very expensive for what it is at €250 per night. Reception staff are very helpful. Collapse

A great location to get to many of the major tourist spots - Notre Dame, The Louvre, The Seine as well as access to great cafe's and boulangaries. I suggest to anyone to go a little further afield when looking for tasty bites to eat. Some great places to buy fresh sandwiches and baguettes, when you are not wanting to pay cafe prices. The rooms here were a good size (I've stayed in Paris before and the room was so small you could not swing a cat in it). The staff were friendly. Breakfast was ok on the first morning and good value.
