We stayed at the Cadogan, Sloane Street - a wonderful family feel hotel but with lots of warm helpful staff this hotel has history and a beautiful old fashioned lift. Getting around London we found taxis were best for us but there's plenty of buses. This is a good place to be for shopping, Harrods just around the corner, plenty of eating places too. Do ask for the key for the gardens which is really nice and peaceful. Collapse

I really enjoyed our 3-day stay at this property. The room and facilities were really nice -bed was comfortable and air conditioning worked very well. The facility is a converted row house with wooden staircase, a delightful sitting room with fireplace and a library. There is an elevator but we enjoyed taking the stairs that are lined with old paintings. As nice as the facility was, the friendly and helpful staff made our stay that much more enjoyable. Emelson, one of the concierge staff was especially helpful - we couldn't begin our day without a morning chat with him. We simply told him where we wanted to go and he laid out the entire day's logistics for us! I should also add that the neighborhood is quiet and charming. We definitely plan on returning! Collapse

So I took a stab in the dark with this property and it paid off. Hotel is in the most amazing spot, about 8 mins walk to Harrods and less to Sloane Square. Staff are great their concierge staff were eager to assist and full of enthusiasm. This was a transit stop so all I wanted was sleep. Rooms were very clean and spacious, and had everything I could ask for including Nespresso machine. Bed was super comfortable, and the room was quiet as it faced towards the back of the property. Bathroom very clean, slightly more traditional in design but had everything I required. Breakfast- I did a la carte smashed avo with eggs which was great. Would definitely recommend a stay. Collapse

If you are looking for a quaint small hotel experience 11 Cadogan Gardens is for you. The concierge was wonderful and the room was well appointed. Take the time to see the gardens across the street, and enjoy the fabulous neighborhood! But be prepared to walk flights of stairs both to your room and to breakfast. Stay away from the third floor if you can't walk stairs as the tiny elevator only stops on the 2nd or 4th floors. Not sure it was my favorite London hotel Collapse

11 Cadogan Gardens is a "burning hot" boutique hotel in the middle of Chelsea. You need 10 minutes to get used to the place, it is a combination of 3 Victorian brownstones combined in small luxury hotel, owned by a noble family and here we go: Wonderful rooms, every one is different, the staircase is an art gallery, the library offers antique books and the fireplace is a comfortable spot to relax after a shopping experience. The cuisine will pamper you with delicious surprises, the staff is world-class, friendly and helpful, always inspired with the perfect lightness of being:-) For me it was just perfect - all the desireable places are not far away. If you want to avoid the Londoner 5* hotel "industry" choose this hotel - you will have an experience! Collapse

Four of us away for a few days - booked by one of the other couple so I didn't really have any idea of what to expect. What a wonderful place - from the greeting we received from the concierge on the steps outside to the ordering of our taxi to take us back to the station, we received the most brilliant service. Nothing was too much trouble - we were upgraded to junior suites which was a lovely surprise - the rooms were sumptuous...complimentary toiletries, robes, slippers and even an umbrella! A fab night-time set of lip balm, pillow spray and face mister (so posh!) to go with the turning-down service and a daily weather forecast so we could plan our outfits too! We had breakfast on both mornings - you could pretty much choose from anything you wanted and there was a buffet area too with fresh fruit, meats, breads....oh, all sorts of stuff! The bar area was a great place to unwind after our very hectic days (and nights) out and about in the bright lights of the capital - again, all with brilliant, individual service. Ideally situated for most things - we walked (strolled, really) into the centre of London in less than an hour and took in the scenery rather than the muck and fumes of the tube. All this for not very much more than a bog-standard chain hotel - so worth the bit extra it cost...the only place to stay from now on! Collapse
