We paid a very reasonable price for this hotel and i think it was a very fair price. It was a clean hotel and staff were pleasant. We had a shared bathroom which i wasn’t too keen on and was misled by Expedia when booking but not the hotels fault. We weren’t told that you needed a key for bathroom so had to go back down to reception who informed us it was in the drawer in our room. The bathroom was clean and didn’t hear many other people using it but we did struggle to open the lock quite a few times and one night my partner woke up and couldn’t get in toilet as the lock was stuck so as you can imagine this was not ideal! We were on 9th floor so quite a trek to go down to reception at 3am in pyjamas! We did get it unlocked eventually. Good location quite a walk from times square but can take a nice walk through park or subway it very fast and we never had any problems. Diner next door was fab for breakfast! Would stay again but would not stay in shared bathroom would recommend your own bathroom! Collapse

Small rooms so made the room very hot on a night, could be due to there being 4 of us in such a small room but the rooms were nice and clean. It’s a Shame about the website saying ‘free wifi’ when it was actually $25 for the week, should really change it because I wouldn’t have chosen this hotel if it would’ve said the WiFi isn’t feee and I’d have chosen somewhere with free WiFi but not too expensive anyway and it was fast:). Quite far from Times Square and the main sights and not much around, although it’s easy enough to get the tube:) over all enjoyed it and would go again as staff was very friendly and the bell boy was especially kind and helpful towards my disabled grandma, thankyou! Miserable, Very Disappointing There are a few good things about this spot: most of the employees are pleasant and accommodating, room has a working A/C, refrigerator, microwave. Next door is a GREAT diner. There’s a Starbucks and a McDonalds near and #1 subway is adjacent and easy. It’s an express stop, two stops to Lincoln Center. The rest of the story is bitter disappointment. At check-in I was not informed that the bathroom is shared and requires a key that is IN the room. The hotel showed me THEIR copy of the reservation and claims I was informed. I disagree. Looking for the bathroom, I locked myself out and then required a trip downstairs to get a new key. In the 6th floor bathroom, the deadbolt does not fit, and the door can be “locked” only with a swing lock common to hotel rooms. Other than an attempt to open, there is no way to know if it is occupied. The single elevator is painfully slow; better to get a low level room and use stairs. Internet is available for a big price per day; figure out how to use your phone as a hotspot or go to Starbucks or the diner. Or maybe pick up Days Inn wifi. Heavy plugs fall out of the wall sockets. 1030pm I have waited 30 min for the bathroom. My room keys failed twice again. There is no vanity or sink in the room and urine I collected in a cup cannot be emptied in the occupied bathroom. Hotwire has invited me to call them, which I’ll do only after getting home; at that time I’ll update before posting. Stay WAY CLEAR of this one. Collapse

I had read previous reviews and I was aware of what to expect. It is a dated hotel however the location is great. The room was very small, it was clean and as I was not going to spend any time in the room apart from sleeping, it was adequate. I put my work mobile in the bedside cabinet for safety and sadly I forgot to take it out. My friend who was in another hotel stayed on and she went back to see if they had the phone, surprise surprise it was not there. Allegedly the head housekeeper could not see it. I never like to stay where the staff can't be trusted. Yes it was my fault for leaving it, however very sad that staff are not honest. I would not stay there again for this reason. The reception staff are not friendly at all. It was ok, there are nicer hotels in the area, Collapse

Hotel was nice and clean. In the room we had fridge, kettle and iron. Size of the room was ok, but we didn't have a restroom in our room so it was only one not nice surprise. Restroom was on the hall-one for few rooms - but clean.
