Enjoyed a great stay here. The room was clean and well supplied. We ate two meals at HB's on the Gulf (a restaurant in the resort) and both the food and service were fantastic. We also ate at the Seminole Store and the Poolside restaurant, food at both places was fine, but not nearly as good as the meals we had at HB's. The beach was beautiful! We did not bring beach chairs, so we rented from the hotel. They were very comfortable, but a little pricey. We also rented bikes for a morning ride through Naples. The bikes were great but again, a little pricey. All in all it was a lovely hotel on a beautiful beach and we completely enjoyed ourselves. Collapse

Went for mother's day weekend 2017. OVERALL: This is a 4* hotel very well maintained. Clean and with a wonderful beach on site. However, I will not be going back mainly because of the service and bad and expensive food. I think you don't get what you expect for the price. I will be back to Naples but will stay at another hotel. CHECK-IN: GOOD: Was fast. Valet was also fast and took the car very easily. BAD: Was not offered room upgrade, even though I am an Expedia VIP+ Gold member, however not a big deal about that. ROOM: GOOD: Spacious, clean and comfortable. Disagree with some people saying that rooms are tired, in my opinion, at least my room was modern. I was given a bottle of wine as a welcome gift for being an Expedia VIP+ Gold member BAD: Although I was given free internet access only for being a special Expedia member, they usually charge $10 per day and you have to pay that because mobile signal is terrible in the area. Very small bathroom without a bath, I only had a shower in my room. Bottled water available, but for $6 each. DINNING: HB'S ON THE GULF SUPER SUPER EXPENSIVE. My bill went up to $150 for three people and the food was not good at all. I suggest you better go out and explore some of the restaurants on fifth avenue. BREAKFAST: GOOD: GOOD: Pretty good food, although not the best I have had, but it is worth it. BAD: Terrible service. Staff very unhappy and not very helpful. BEACH: GOOD: Hotel is right on the beach, and by the way, it is a great beach. This is the best that this hotel has to offer. BAD: Although they charge for cabanas and chairs, that is acceptable for those hotels nowadays and more when they are not charging you with the annoying resort fee that others do. However, the food was terrible at the poolside with an oil taste in the food that I did not like ( I ordered chicken wings and some chips that had a weird texture accompanied by an avocado dip that was not fresh). Cocktails are good though. When we were going to complain about the food, we asked a member of the staff, who answered that he was in charge of the beach and that there was nothing he could do and said that we needed to go by ourselves to the bar and have the issue solved. CHECK-OUT: GOOD: It is fast and easy. I asked and was given late check-out and was allowed to keep the room until 1 PM. BAD: The hotel that day was not full, and I asked if I could keep the room for longer that day, and the answer was no! They said that if I wanted to stay later than 1 PM, I had to pay something like $27 per hour. Collapse

Stayed here for a work conference and have zero complaints. Cafe was perfect for breakfasts to bring to the beach. Soft sand, warm sun and cooling breeze made using the umbrellas and lounge chair rentals worth even an hour of your time. Great set up with rooms along the outside, pool, restaurants, lobby and courtyard on the inside. Resort accommodated every request, stayed on top of weather reports and always had a backup plan if weather looked poor for our outside events. This place is perfect to relax at. Also conference rooms were comfortable and staff friendly and helpful from pre-booking to check out. Collapse

Here is the problem with the US travel, employees at most of the places don't appreciate the privilege of having a job. It's so frustrating, we have such a beautiful country and we are not exploring its tourism potential AT ALL!, and is not because we don't have enough hotels and attractions is the service. For example, I'm a +VIP Expedia member because I've been traveling with them for more than 15 years and in all that time this is the second time I've given a bad review to a hotel, only for the reason that here in the Us we pass the employment regulations to the customers. On this hotel I went to the convenience store at 10:45pm, the place was empty and called my attention that the entire store had orchids flowers everywhere and been Mother's Day eve I asked the manager can I take one of them for my wife and I'll pay you $20 (this are small publix supermarket orchids normally$9 at that store) the guy says you can buy it at public supermarket, I reply I know but you guys are probably gonna throw them away in the morning and it will mean a lot for my wife besides I'm paying you 2 or 3 times what your company pays for, and you'll be making a guest really happy creating a lifetime relationship probably, the answer was no!. Now let me tell you, in the US we talk a lot of crap about Mexico but then the most consumed food chain restaurants are the Mexican ones (zona Fresca, chipotle, Tijuana Flats, Moe's etc.) and we celebrate 5 the Mayo like no other and we don't even know what we are celebrating for, but hospitality wise they have by far the best service I've ever gotten in any vacation (Cancun) I've been 3 times in a row to the same hotel, not because it's the most fancy, JUST BECAUSE OF THE SERVICE, the entire staff goes above and beyond every time we go there. That why they got my business 3 times, and sent family members and friends and they agree with me after staying at the hotel. If this would've happened at Cancun I can guarantee you they would've given me the orchid for free and delivered to my room host to make me happy and give me a unique experience. THATS WHAT HOSPITALITY IS ALL ABOUT, Plain and simple excellent customer service. If that's what you're looking for don't come to this hotel. YOU WONT FIND IT Collapse

Enjoyed the convenient location and great place for a conference. Rooms are outdated and need a make over for the price, but the access to the beach, convenience to the main dining and shopping and food at the hotel was perfect.
