We didn't have much contact with the hotel staff (just checking in and checking out) but everything on that front went ok. The only flaws in service are that there is no possibility to put anything on the room bill the way it usually works, even using the dated hotel gym (5 eur/visit) has to be paid on location. There are also some strange surcharges, such as swimming cap fee (3 eur) for using the indoor pool. So be prepared to pay for things that in all other hotels are included in the price and you'll be fine. We had an apartment (bedroom + living room/kitchen). There was no dishbrush/sponge or even dishwashing liquid in the room, nor did the cleaners change the dishes to clean ones, which made the situation a bit strange. This isn't a problem if you're staying there for just a couple days, or only eating out, but otherwise expect to cope with dishes piling up. Wifi was unstable and slow. For your usual social media and web use it was ok, but in case you'd need to make Skype calls or similar then you might want to consider other options. Room cleaning wasn't very thorough, when walking barefooted in a recently cleaned room one could feel that there was dirt on the floor. This was clearly hotel management's fault as the cleaners weren't equipped with vacuum cleaners but had to rely on mops which aren't sufficient. Other than that the daily cleaning was ok (towels were changed etc.) The hotel restaurant downstairs gets 0 points. I once went there to get a burger and the burger I got was probably one of the worst ever (very dry, no mayonnaise/sauce or veggies, just a bun with low-quality beef, ham, bacon and egg) and I didn't even finish it. It might be that the people working in the kitchen only know how to cook Spanish dishes, so maybe give the hotel restaurant a try if you feel like eating local food, but atleast for burgers go somewhere else. The location is good. There is a very big shopping mall right next to the hotel, a Lidl supermarket just 5 minutes walk away, and walking downtown takes just 20 minutes. Based on my remarks above one might think that our stay was horrible, but I think the hotel all in all is average. We paid 52 euros a night (for an apartment) which was an ok price, but any price higher than that (even during high-season) for this hotel is too much. Collapse

We r just back from a week stay . The staff are friendly and the rooms are nice and cleaned everyday. A 15 minute walk to train station which is great to travel on. The beach is only 10mins away. Really enjoyed it and the shopping centre is fab .

My wife and I have just returned from 3 weeks at the Myramar, it's been great weather so we loved that element of the trip, we found the kitchen area much more basic than we expected to the point we had to go and buy a sharp knife for cutting and preparing food, a salad bowl, spatulas etc etc. The pub was closed even though it was really busy. The pool area was closed but the indoor pool was still pleasant The gym and sauna are great and if you pay to use it weekly instead of daily it's much better value. The cleaners in resort where unbelievably good, the place is spotless everywhere. It's a 20/30 minute walk into the main town, don't go heading to fish alley everyday to eat, look on the edge of the centre and find some amazing local bars and restaurants that are shockingly good value instead of the chain pubs serving cod and chips. We found that exit the hotel, cross the river then using the foot bridge cross the main road and we had over a dozen bars, tapas bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk where the food was amazing and wow do these guys know how to pour a brandy. All in all I pleasant stay, too far from the centre for folk of limited mobility and too basic a kitchen but a great town with a great beach. Collapse
