Spent the weekend 21-23 October 2016 at Sentosa. Chosen to stay at Le Meridien Sentosa Singapore. Hotel is located opposite Sentosa Express "Imbiah Station" (1 minute walk) and 3 munutes walk to Resort World Entertainment Centre (RWS). Moving about on Sentosa Express to explore the island is never difficult. The initial correspondence and/or commumication with Reservation (Thein) and Concierge (Abdul Aziz) was never pleasant; they did not reply on requested matters. Eventually Edison Lee (Reservation Manager) made efforts to understand before matters rectified. Friendly helpful front desk. Was happy to be receive a "Sentosa Fun Pass" (complimentary usage of Sentosa Express in/out of island) and assigned room 267 with great view of Singapore icon's Merlion. It changes colours at night. Comfortable clean cosy room with complimentary wifi with good connection. Nice warm rain shower. Have been traveling non-stop since March till this date, never think of having a staycation as I am a local staying here. Also never stay in Sentosa before. Took a long time before making this choive and effort to have a staycation and explore the island. The bed was very comfortable but slept little. Was out for the 2 days exploring the island and played Pokemon Go simultaneously. A great site for the game; exploration paid off with 45 new found pokemons. 11 of them were found within the hotel's lobby, Latest Recipe, poolside, driveway and my own guestroom at different hours. Haha. Had breakfast at Latest Recipe. Cosy clean all day dining restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. A good selection of cold and hot, east meets west food. Varieties of fruits, juices, coffee and TWG Tea added colours to the buffet. Preferred outdoor seating with good view of Imbian Station and passing train; but comfortably under the spinning fan. Enjoyed and did not have enough. Left the hotel happily at 4pm today. Hoping to come back to Sentosa and Le Meridien Singapore Sentosa soon. Hopefully it can be the same room too. Collapse

It was indeed a sweet escape for both my family from the stress of everyday life. It was right from the very start. Upon check in, i was greeted by Mr Eugene Charles, the Senior Manager on duty. He was so welcoming. I whispered to him that i am here to celebrate my wife birthday. He smiled and assure it is a staycay that i will nvr forget. He so warmth and professional. Patiently listening to all the information and the details. He even asked is there anything i could do for you.. what a gentleman..knowing this is such a important event for me.. I was assign to a wonderful room on the 2nd floor. It was clean, spacious with high ceiling and overlooking the pool. What a view! Perfect and my wife love it. The pool was not crowded and nice weather..not too warm and not too cold. Clean too. When we return from our swim, we saw a small birthday cake and card. Wow! My wife was so happy. It taste good too. I will certainly recommend Le Meridien Sentosa to my colleagues and family. It is located nicely close to the station. Very convenient to go anywhere. The best part is your wonderful staff, they are the one that makes the difference. Yes, nice room but Eugene was so sincere and his arrangement for me is just perfect. What a great staycation!!! Only areas that require improvements is the decking on the pool side. Some of them are loose and quite old. Its quite dangerous as some of the decking start creaking when you walk over them. Please get your engineering team to look over it before someone fell or hurt themselves. Overall it is such a positive stay! Will definitely stay again! Thank you Eugene... and thank You Le Meridien.. for leaving such a wonderful memory... Collapse

My husband and I with our two toddlers just returned home to Australia from our week long trip to Sentosa Island where we stayed in a Heritage Suite at Le Meridien Hotel. The room was quite spacious with a main bedroom, living area and a walk through bathroom with free wifi. The double sofa bed was fine for the two kids. Towels were big and soft, shower was great and there was also a stand alone deep bath. Room was beautifully clean and had climate control air-conditioning. The view of the Merlion everyday was the highlight of our stay; our kids woke up every morning running to the window saying 'rrraaahhh'. The service was faultless, all employees were friendly and there was always a hotel employee close by to help when we needed it. The staff went above and beyond to help us, on multiple occasions, on their own accord, which was heartfelt. We travelled with our own single pram and the hotel provided us with a courtesy pram which was fantastic. We were always helped up and down the stairs around the hotel and the children were welcomed lovingly. Room service was always quick and food was nice. Breakfast was included in the room which was a great addition and the array of breakfast foods available was overwhelming and fantastic! TWG luxury tea was provided in the rooms and was absolutely beautiful! The hotel is in a great location, right across from Imbiah station, there is a 7 eleven there (not very big but sold Coronas @ approx. $6ea). Noise was not an issue and was normal for a hotel in a central location. The trains stopped around 10ish, although they were not extremely noticeable and it was pleasantly quiet throughout the night. The sun didn't come up until after 7am so the kids slept in most days! The hotel was clean and spacious with great décor and a good layout. The elevator to our room was next to the restaurant and front entrance. The pool area was quiet and the approx. 2mx6m ankle deep wading area of the pool was a hit with the toddlers. All of the Le Meridien employees that we interacted with throughout the week, from the receptionists to the doormen, housekeepers, engineering staff, restaurant staff, bar staff, concierge and everyone else we passed in the hotel, without a doubt made our stay easy, our kids happier and our holiday a lot more pleasant than if they weren't as beautiful as they were. Thank you guys, what a great stay! xx Collapse

There will be 2 sides to this review, the good and the bad. Lets start of with the bad Bad: Breakfast and dinner need some work on it, not much choices for the type of hotel that it is. During check out, staff worked slower than anticipated that caused a long waiting time. Good: The Onsen Suite was a beautiful room and the hotel itself was very well designed and had a really nice vibe at the entrance. Service was up to expectations and we appreciated the birthday cake and chocolates that we were given. Hotel has a good location with many things to do around. Overall: Good hotel, good location, but the food needs some work. 7.8/10 All things aside, SPG is the way to go. Collapse
