I was initially a bit worried about coming to Sentosa during peak season (mid Dec), so I called ahead to ensure my room was not on the side facing the construction given the special occasion of the trip. Andrew from front desk picked up my call and kindly arranged all the details, and everything was perfect! Many thanks to Andrew we got the room type, check-in time and also Platinum amenities we wanted. I really appreciate as I wanted needed pleasant given I brought my inlaws as well (Thanks Andrew!). Service at check-in was very smooth thanks to Wendy, who also took great care in explaining how to get around given it is my first trip to Sentosa. We were very happy as both rooms were like new & extremely clean. Everything was in working order view of Merlion was awesome. It turns out the location of Le Meridien is awesome & unbeatable. The hotel is 1 min from light rail, which means you have free access to the beach (1 stop), restaurants (1 stop), amusement parks (1 stop) and most importantly, Vivo City Mall (2 stops) on the main island. The Vivo City Mall was critical as there are two MRT lines and also a ton of restaurants & shopping choices. The service at the hotel is outstanding. Delivery of towels was quick and the restaurant staff led by Vivian provided great & speedy service. Chef Jackson was super kind, we spoke while he made a morning round and asked us for feedback on the breakfast (which by the way was very good). Chef Jackson gave us detail run down of how their Laksa is prepared and how specialities are rotated daily. We were quite appreciate of the overall service we got from the F&B team during our three meals at the hotel. We also sought help from the hotel cleaning crew Phyu to take a picture for us when we were in front of the Merlion and Phyu patiently did so and asked us to check if more pictures was needed. All-in-all my entire family was very pleased with the trip and we will definitely be back again in the future. Collapse

Location is superb. Right In front of imbiah station with 7/11 & fast food restaurant and u can view merlion from the entrance. Walking distance to RWS and casino. Very convenient. It has a separate sitting area and a gd size bathtub in our room. Bed is comfy too. Stand in front of front desk for more 5 minutes, there's more than 5 staffs just standing around there but nobody attend to us?! We check in late at 4.30pm but was told that our room is still not ready. So we were offered to hv a drink or bite at the restaurant on the house. The pool has a long stair case which I find is kinda dangerous, esp on that day when it was drizzling. Also the wood planks at the pool were really slippery after raining and when our feets were wet. Have to b extra cautious esp with baby or kids. Non-stop ringing of the hotel phone when we were packing up for checkout. When I answer there's no one on line, I reckon it's the concierge constantly reminding us to checkout. Cos when we arrive at the counter to check out. Very irritating and insult to hotel guests. Never come across such thing in any hotel we hv stayed b4. But still, Overall, services is good, e.g. Front desk- Andrew + gd location/size for premium rooms. Collapse

I had a staycation at the Le Meridien Sentosa last weekend and have been staying there multiple times. So far, I have been amazed by the service rendered by the front desk whether during check in or during check out. I will like to commend one of its front desk associates (Flora Aung) for its exemplary service during my check in. As a SPG Gold, she allowed me to check in early and check out late and provided me with complimentary breakfast and room upgrades to the Onsen Suite as I have always wanted to try out this specialty suite. She initially could not find any available Onsen suites but she tried her best and managed to locate one which will be available soon on that day. Such actions go a long mile in the service industry. The Onsen suite is rarely found in Singapore and is a must try when you stay in Le Meridien Sentosa. You get an onsen to yourself in the room and can rejuvenate yourself during the stay. As I have been advised by the front desk, the onsen suites are normally located on the second floor of the hotel and is limited in number. If you prefer good view, I will recommend you to get the Heritage Suites (I have also tried it!). Some Heritage Suites have the Merlion view and you get to enjoy both day and night views from the room! Breakfast was slightly disappointing because it does not have a wide spread of selection as compared to the Westin Singapore. For example, it does not serve pancakes, fresh fruit juices and other tea selections. It is also conveniently located near a Sentosa Express Monorail station (Imbiah Station) with a 2 minute walk. We've got upgraded to an onsen room, which has a private little garden with an onsen in it! I'm sure it's not easy to maintain a room like this but they were nice and upgraded us so we appreciated it. The walkway to the rooms was quite dark though. The in-room facilities not very child-friendly as it's quite "minimal" style so we were glad to have the little tea-drinking area in the garden. Breakfast was good quite a lot of choices. You can take a pic with the Merlion right at the hotel's entrance. It's just across the road from the station so it's very central to everything to sentosa. Collapse

It has been a very nice discovery to stay at this property. We were accommodated in ta junior suite and we were quite satisfied with the room: quite good size, well furnished, with a particular focus over the bathroom which was really enticing. Nothing to say about amenities Lobby and check in area are really limited in terms of size and opulence. Swimming pool is outdoor but nothing to write about. Service is definitely attentive and professional and they try to anticipate your needs. Quality price ratio is totally acceptable. Collapse
