We booked flights and accommodation with BA and were pleased to see this reasonably priced 4* offering as part of the deal. As such, we snapped up the deal! We grabbed a taxi from Valencia Airport (€20 out and €15 back) and found the hotel entrance down a side alley. The check in was painless, good English from the receptionist, no ID check and no credit cards. We were then directed to our room (206) and we went to make ourselves at home. We didn’t spend a huge amount of time in the hotel but the happy hour is well worth taking advantage of! Rooms were cleaned daily and we didn’t have our towels taken away (which we’re normally plagued by). The room - nicely decorated and well presented, if a little tired and scuffed in places. Overall presented as a smart bedroom. There’s a minibar, aircon/heating (admittedly we got very confused by this and ended up baking ourselves before deciding to turn it off for an overall more comfortable night)and a TV with a poor offering of anglophone channels (oh well). We felt a kettle and complimentary tea/coffee would have been a nice touch. The beds - for a couple, two singles made up as singles and popped together is annoying, but I think that’s the vogue on the continent. The beds were comfortable but on closer inspection of the blanket there were hairs all over them, a bit disappointing. Bathroom - very good. Shower was clean with good water pressure. Grouting a little discolored and the shower-screen did leak a little. Good - comfy beds, smart looking hotel in an exceptional location for exploring this beautiful city. Good staff and a happy hour! Needs improvement - blankets need cleaning, perhaps anglophone need channels that work, consider complimentary tea/coffee making facilities in room. Overall I expected a little more from a 4* hotel, but you can’t argue with the location and that they perform the basics very well. I’d happily stay here again considering what we paid for it. Not too bad.

Visited early November for a couple of nights. Hotel is situated down a side road a short walk from the Valencia Nord Rail Station. The hotel reception area is welcoming and staff were friendly and efficient. The room was nice too (comfy beds, which is of course one of the most important things). Wouldn't say the hotel is four star though! Without seeming too demanding, when you book four star that's what you expect. Noise is a problem, from outside (although if the hotel was on the main road it would have been worse) and from other people showering and using the bathroom (thankfully we only heard the flushing). Found the General Managers recent comments interesting. When you stay at an hotel, you should get what you expect. I had to smile at his comment to Tallbear55, talking of his previous review ratings. It seems the manager overlooked the 4 and 5 point reviews Tallbear55 has made. Anyway, it seems the hotel is due to undergo refurbishment, which might explain the good deals to be found on the Internet at the moment. Doubt we will return though, last year we stayed at a very nice three star which ticked many more boxes and there are so many more to experience in this most wonderful City. Collapse
Can only be described as an over priced BASIC hotel

When visiting Valencia we found this hotel which on the face of it looked worth the £175 per twin room per night. However we were unfortunately very disappointed, immediately on entering the room we could smell what can only be described as stale smoke. The room was basic with only standard essentials such as sachets of coffee, long life milk etc but perhaps the biggest disappointment was the mould in the shower. The bar does not exist, it is a small general seating area in the foyer and beer can only be bought by the bottle. Breakfast at 8 euros and the friendly staff are perhaps the best this hotel has to offer. The parking is not part of this hotel however it is conveniently located underground and directly next to the hotel at 20 euros per 24 hrs. Will we stay again?? This is without doubt the worst value for money hotel I have ever booked so absolutely not! Collapse
Good, but not great.

Booked for two nights. Staff on arrival were very pleasant and helpful. We were allocated Room 317, one of the larger rooms. Very clean and comfortable, however not having arrange for breakfast we felt we could stay in bed longer in the mornings as there was no rush to get to breakfast' Unfortunately the bathroom of the room next to ours was adjacent to our bathroom. When the guests had a shower, used the toilet or washbasin we could hear the water clearly (fortunately nothing else!!) which included when they got into and out of the shower as the sound of the water changed, each flush and each hand wash!!! This happened in the at around 7:00 to 7:30 in the morning. One lot of guest must have had a early morning start as they showered in the evening and then we heard nothing more from them! So that was the noise from next door! Across the corridor from our room was the House Keepers Office/Cupboard. All the chamber maids for the third floor gathered there in the morning to get laundry etc and to have a chat. These "Chats" started at around 8 ish I think. Then we have the noise from outside the building. Double glazing but not the best as noise from outside was audible in the room, particularly the noise of the renovation of an apartment opposite. Not the best of stays but location and ease of getting to it from the rail station were it's plus points. Would I stay here again? I don't think so. As they said about the Solana in the TV programme Benidorm "If you list it as a 4* people expect more then if it were a 3*. Been there, done that. Collapse

Although locally this is rated a 4-star, the rooms would be 3-star. A decent size, clean and comfortable with a good sized bathroom. Mini bar, but no tea/coffee making facilities. And with the BBC World channel not working, English speakers are limited to France 24 (English), Russia Today and two English-language Chinese channels. Wi-Fi worked well. The heating functioned well too - the one time it was needed - though it didn’t seem possible to switch to air conditioning mode. Maybe that’s its winter setting. The heater under the counter in the bathroom was always on though, which did mean the counter was warm to touch. Did experience brown hot water one evening. Hotel at a loss to explain it, but after leaving it for 15 minutes, it returned to its usual clear colour. A normal European-style breakfast buffet and on weekday evenings (only) they serve an extremely good value three-course dinner with drinks for just €15. Bargain! Friendly staff with excellent English-language skills. In a good location for the metro to the airport and the historic town centre. Collapse
