I stayed here for 7 nights and was impressed by the quality of the accommodation and the staff. I had a large, tastefully decorated room overlooking the Mediterranean. I almost didn't want to leave to go sight seeing. My bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Although the pool and bar area were beautiful, nothing compared to the roof top bar which gave you a view of the Amalfi coast with Naples in the distance. I recommend that you hit at least one happy hour as the bar snacks are yummy. Everything you could ask for was provided at breakfast and there was an option of sitting outside on the balcony overlooking the sea. Very friendly, efficient staff. It is a bit of a walk into central Sorrento but there is a complementary shuttle service. This is an outstanding hotel. I hope I will be able to return someday. Collapse

Spent a week here and we loved this hotel. The rooms are a little compact but certainly well furnished and kept spotlessly clean. Service from reception was excellent and very efficient, nothing was too much trouble. They will book trips for you and restaurants and happily give you good advise on the local area. Swimming pool area is excellent as is the bar where you can get lunches and snacks too. Staff are extremely attentive and friendly. If you go for a drink before dinner they serve wonderful bites fresh from the kitchen. The dining room has wonderful views but you need to book an outside balcony table if you want to eat out there. Food some days better than others and to be honest it was a bit of a let down. The rooftop bar needs to be booked as they have a lot of weddings when there is no access. Definitely worth a visit but very expensive drinks! We loved Sorrento and is easy to access with the complimentary shuttle bus or a brisk 20 minute walk. Truly amazing views from this hotel and definitely worth a visit. We did Amalfi coast with a private driver as there were four of us and definitely worth the cost. A day that will live long in the memory. Hotel arranged this for us and we had 8 wonderful hours visiting Ravello, Amalfi Town and Postinano. Our driver Tony was very informative and helpful and gave us the benefit of all his knowledge, and stopping at all the best views. He even recommended and took us to a very Italian authentic restaurant for lunch down a back road in Ravello. We also did Pompeii with a organised bus trip but to be honest we wished we had got the train from St. Agnello direct to Pompeii as it stops outside and it would have been cheaper, not be herded around as you can get an audio guide there. The restaurant the organised trip took us to was just awful, terrible food that looked and tasted like it had been warmed up. Sorrento on the whole is expensive, but we ate in a couple of good restaurants and skipped dinner at the hotel a couple of times. Worth the experience as we just love Italy and Italian food. Go, enjoy, and you won't be disappointed with this hotel for your visit. Collapse

Ok so this is an extremely late review. I thought I posted this on my vacation last year but I didn't. I know it says I traveled in December 2015 but it was in July of 2015. I had done a trip to Italy with my boyfriend (now fiance) in July 2015. We stayed in Rome during the first part of the trip but we went to Sorrento for the second part. We stayed in the hotel from July 15 to July 19 2015. This hotel is amazing. Everyone who we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us with our luggage, our laundry, and how to best enjoy our time in Sorrento. We had a wonderful night at a recommended restaurant on the water. The view from any of the rooms was beautiful since you are on the scenic coast. The pool they have is great, and one of the nights we were there - there was a pool party. The hotel is great for both families and young singles. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this hotel and cannot boast about it enough. I would love to come back for another stay. My favorite part about my stay had to be their dining room/restaurant. It was on the top of the building and had amazing food for breakfast and dinner. If you are ever traveling to this area of Italy I highly recommend you stay here because of the friendly staff, beautiful views, clean amenities, and gorgeous rooms! Collapse
