Where can i begin. Me and my friend was extremely disappointed with the customer service or should i say what customer service we received here. My friend had booked a "executive suite" for the evening and was told online and on the phone that the service charge would be 500£. She booked this 3 months in advance. Day before our arrival the man on reception left her a voicemail himself stating the £500 price and date etc. When we arrived me and my friend was shocked and disgusted to find that "head office" decided to charge us £1000 for one nights service charge?!!! Absolutely disgusting. The men on the desk said they couldn't help and we had no option to pay it. Considering we had traveled all the way from kent. And we then call head office in the morning. He stated we would get it back if the room was left undamaged. The room was only £200 per night. £1000 service charge for one night when it stated in black and white that it was £500 and on the contract is absolutely disgusting and head office didn't even want to help. We went up to the room and was expecting a very posh luxury suite considering what we had just paid. It stated we would have a balcony there was no balcony and the bath tub had a thick black lining of dirt around it the bins was Also not emptied. Now if you are going to charge that much for a room i expect something better than this. Absolutely bloody disgusting. And to top it off the woman on the desk as we checked out was rude didn't even acknowledge us or even ask us how our stay was her words was "keys please" I am absolutely fuming and disgusted at the customer service and the fact head office didn't care and thought it would be ok to charge £1000!!!!. I cannot begin to describe the inconvenience and the disappointment. I will never ever book here again and i urge you not to either. The only think head office decided to compensate us on was £30!!! After paying also 20£ for parking for one night i think that is beyond a joke and being chucked backwards and forwards from different phone lines and waiting 6hours for a reply. Never experience such bad customer service. This company should be ashamed and shut down. Collapse

This apartment was perfect for our stay. The location of the apartment was perfect. We could easily walk to Westfield and got to explore London. The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcomed. The apartment had everything we needed and it felt like we were right at home. Overall we had a lovely, comfortable and perfect stay at the Stratford Marlin Apartments at a very reasonable price. Do not stay here!! Apartments are dirty and really worn out! Definitely not worth the money! Go to a Travelodge instead!

These apartments are supposed to be deep cleaned in between guests. They are not!! They are dirty and well worn!! We were very disappointed with our stay! Had to ask for a kettle as the room did not have one, then the kettle blew a fuse so no power. Maintenance man didn't know what to do!! Sink and shower plugs were blocked with black mould. Thick dust everywhere. Floor peeling up in the kitchen. Dirty curtains. Stained bedding. I could go on!! I would have asked to be moved but didn't notice the problems initially as we dumped our bags and headed of to see a show. It was only on our return at almost midnight with 2 tired children did we start to notice problems! By then my kids were in bed as we had a very early start in the morning. We were due at St James Palace at 10 am, and there was a tube strike !! We were recommended these apartments through Superbreak and the DofE award scheme, so we had high expectations. We have only ever used Premier Inns in London before !! Wish we had stuck with them to be honest! However staff were friendly but we really expected so much more from these supposedly luxury apartments!! The only luxury we found was the complementary toiletries!! Collapse

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights and thought the apartment was absolutely excellent. It was great that the bedroom was able to be separated from the rest of the apartment and the kitchen was so well equipped, we only ordered in once before stocking up and cooking for ourselves the rest of our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful with just a quick buzz down for anything we needed. Each room has its own WiFi router which was a bonus for us needing to do work - something you don't find in many places. The shops were just a 5 min walk away and Stratford station/Westfield just under 10. Would definitely stay again if back in the area, so much better than a hotel!! Collapse
