I forgot to hand in my key fob. They got in touch the next day Friday by email to ask me to return it by post. I said I would and asked where to send it. They then got back to me on Saturday after the last post had gone with the address. I then received an email Sunday am to say they had taken £120 directly from my bank account using the card details I left to pay for having to get a new gob reprogrammed. This is a ridiculous amount of money ...I have raised this with them and offered to return the fob but they havent been in touch. Collapse

Amazing value - great locations - staff excellent - after a horrible Premier Inn came here and am so happy I did. Full kitchen, clean, room and lounge = AMAZING! Can not speak too highly of this place beats every hotel in town.

The room itself probably could've done with a lick of paint but would definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers. Collapse

When I reviewed the Marlin's website the pictures online were lovely. I checked the reviews and noticed that there was a huge disparity amongst guests. Despite this, I chose to stay at the Marlin apartments Queens street in January 2017. I must say that it was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. The accommodations were much worse in person. I have uploaded photos of the condition of my room. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but on my first nights stay, there were many issues. Heating and wifi (worked intermittently) had minor issues but stains on the sofa and on the chairs, hair strands on and in the bed and the unclean floor were unacceptable. To make matters worse, the marlin apartments failed to inform its clientele that there is a tube station running underneath their building. This is clearly something that guests should be informed of. Every 5-10 minutes, I could hear and feel a vibration from the train passing by. I was shocked how noisy the room was and that it actually shook. Coupled with this there was major construction occurring on an adjacent building which started at 7am if you were lucky enough to get any sleep. I complained to the office clerk, who was far from welcoming, and asked to speak to a manager. I was informed that one would not be available until 8am in the morning. By 10am, I was not contacted and called downstairs to speak to a manager. It was not until I was checking out of the location that a manager "appeared" to address my concerns. He informed me that another room would not available for at least another two nights. I proceeded to check out. I was informed that I would not be charged for the remaining nights stay but low and behold the total charge remained on my credit card. When I disputed it with my credit card company, the Marlin apartments asserted that the charges were in fact valid. Very sad as I had to find cleanlier accommodations and I was essentially billed twice for my stay in London. Learn from my experience. This place is definitely not worth the hassle. Please find better accommodations. If there was a zero star rating the Marlin Apartments - Queen street would take first place. Collapse
