Very well located on the Marina in Lagos, easy access to all marina activities, 10 minute walk to Mei Pria beach, 5 minute walk in to town, 5 minute walk to excellent local supermarket. All staff were very efficient and gave great customer service which is so important to us. Our one bedroom apartment had lovely pool and marina view with afternoon sunshine onto balcony and kept in good order by daily cleaning staff who respected our request for later in the day cleaning so that we could enjoy late getting up. Apartment was to our liking with modern and minimalistic furnishing but sufficient crockery and pans for home cooking. Wi fi worked well enough for us. Will definitely return. Collapse

Stayed here in at half term week end of October, booked 2 x 2 bedroom for my family of 4 plus 2 mothers. We paid extra for the marina / pool view and 1 of the 2 apartment was on the corner, meaning we had a rap around balcony with both marina and pool view, other apartment was next door and that was really just a pool view. Apartments were nicely furnished inside (no oven howver), as other people have said the beds are very hard, we did ask for a matress top cover which made it better. There were no wine glasses in the room for some reason and the coffee cups could be likened to expresso cups, we also asked for wine glasses which were promtly supplied, bought some mugs. Apartments have DVD players for kids, english channels are limited with no main channels BBC / ITV etc. Pool was extremely cold and in quite a bad state with plently of missing tiles, surrounding area had loose flags and some were quite sharp, this needs a revamp. There is a indoor pool & gym which costs 10 Eur a visit, think it was a bit cheaper if you buy multiple passes. Under 16s are not allowed in the indoor pool. So unless you visit this place when it is very warm in the summer, would not recommend for kids who want to go in the pool. Not sure if it was the average temp and weather we had or if it was quiet, but there was rarely more than 10-15 people around the pool area meaning atmosphere was zero. Thankfully we met a lovely family with 2 kids similar age to ours, had we not met them our kids would not have enjoyed the pool anywhere near as much. There was a side entrance to the marina meaning that we really did not feel part of a hotel, apart from the apartment cleaned daily. There is a massive supermarket 5 mins away which has everything including you fresh bread, walked there every morning for breakfast stuff. Just around the corner there is a string of cafe / bars / restaurants. Walking into the old town was nice and took about 15 mins. In summary, apartments were good, but this is not a family hotel, more your couples / groups / golfers etc kind of place. Staff were helpful and the cleaners did a good job. Collapse

Although resort hotels are not generally our preference, it was close to the train station and we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay here. Our one bedroom suite had views of the marina and the pool. The location was great, a short walk over the pedestrian bridge to the town centre with lots of shops and restaurants. The suite was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The couches in the living room could be used as additional beds and would be good option for families, although they are not particularly comfortable for sitting. The kitchen had no basic supplies such as dish soap, salt and pepper or other condiments. If you are driving here or planning a longer stay that would be fine, but for a few days visit it was a bit frustrating. There was no coffee maker, just a kettle. The bathroom was good except the shower mechanism was of rather poor quality and did not give a satisfying shower. Wifi was very weak in our room and we frequently lost the connection. We didn't use the resort facilities other than a quick swim in the pool but it was refreshing and large enough to not feel at all crowded. There were plenty of lounge chairs around and the hotel provides pool towels. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ate one lunch at the Regata Club bar and one breakfast at the Waypoint restaurant (both part of the hotel complex) and found the quality mediocre. However, there are a lot of restaurants nearby for breakfast, lunch or dinners that appeared to be popular. A large grocery store is located within a 10 minute walk and so it is easy to stock up on supplies. Collapse

We stayed at the Marina Club this May. We got a standard studio without a poll view. The apartment was clean, contemporary, I cant fault it. The resort is centrally located and on the marina, there are loads of restaurants and bars within a 1 minute walk and there is no need to get a taxi anywhere, there is an Irish Bar (The Marina Bar) located just beside the hotel, the bar serves food and shows all the rugby and football matches which would suit guys who want to sneak out for a quick pint and get a game in. Lagos is a fabulous town and my favourite holiday location, with a combination of a great environment, great people, food and value for money. Collapse
