I stayed here for 3 nights on an all inclusive basis. Overall, quite good value for money. The rooms are ok, the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms are ok, but all in all rooms are a little dated and in some parts quite ''tired''. However, the rooms and main areas were very clean. All inclusive, the drinks were plentiful, if thats what you like, no major queues at the bars. The ''entertainment'' was, in our opinion very poor. The guests that seemed to enjoy it the most were the ones that frequented the bar the most, and indeed they did get a bit loud. The guests were mostly British. Most of the rooms have balconys with a table and chairs overlooking the sea. I would suggest you ask for a pool view room if you want the best views, but in the high season, these rooms would probably get very noisy with the bar areas below. Location..The hotel is at the far end of the beach, and a fair walk into the town centre. It is 10 mins walk from Las Molinas rail station, where you can get trains every 20 mins to the airport and Malaga, in the other direction to Benalmadena. The staff in the hotel were very good and helpful at all times. Collapse

We traveled to the Marconfort Beach Club Hotel in mid-March as a family of 3 (Adult Daughter). Having read some of the disturbing comments from fellow travelers about the ‘bug’ we were quite concerned. When you sift through some of the ‘band wagon’ comments there does seem to be some genuine issues. As always you can only tell things how you are personally affected and fortunately during our stay, we were not ill or spoke to anyone who was affected. Previous comments about the sanitiser at the restaurant entrance intrigued me as all hotels we have stayed in have hand gel anyway. This sanitiser is merely just an advancement in technology which sprays the product onto your hands without having to touch the device (it looks a bit like a hand drier). The hotel was extremely clean in all areas and a credit to the staff who were fantastic throughout. The room was a good size and had plenty of storage. A kettle and cups are provided, but these are really for the use of guest who are not AI, as there is no provision of tea/coffee etc. as these are available from the bars. The biggest let down is the lack of a fridge to keep water/drinks cold. There are plenty of efficient lifts available in a central area, which provide easy access. The bars are mostly non branded but good and the beer is Amstell, with Cruzcampo Radler also available on draught. There are only supposed to be 2 drinks per person, but the bar staff were fantastic and knowing there were three of us, had no problem. Head Barman Carlos was brilliant in tweaking my Spanish pronunciations. Food was varied and well-cooked and what I would say was typical Spanish 4* assortment trying to cater for all tastes. We would have preferred a little more Spanish food, but was very happy with what was available. There was always a grilled meat and grilled fish as well as a roast and other dishes. Great night when there was Calimaritos on the menu. We are not usually in a hotel during the day, but on the Tuesday there was torrential rain all day, which cause flooding and damage in Torremolinos, so unusually we did not venture far. The hotel coped really well. The night time entertainment was surprisingly really good with live acts rather than the animation team programme. Out and about a great walk to Benalmadena Marina in just over an hour. The local Train Station La Colin is only a 10 min walk from the hotel and a return to Malaga or Fuengirola is only 4 Euro 10. Both well worth a visit. Plenty of local bars and cafes around and the seafood is fantastic. Would we visit again – Yes. Collapse

First time I have been to al all inclusive hotel and was most impressed with the quality of food. The hotel was clean and staff excellent. A great break in lovely surroundings near the beach and not far from the airport.

We travelled to the Beach Club with friends, for a short (7 day) break. Had read some negative comments, but we found the hotel to be first rate. The food choice was excellent, the bars were comfortable, with good entertainment. One comment and suggestion I would make regarding the downstairs bar was that the chairs should be laid out in a more friendly fashion, but apart from that no problems. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly and efficient, and Reception in particular was most helpful. Although the bathroom in our room was small, it was perfectly adequate, and the room itself was lovely, including TV with BBC 1 and 2, ITV and Channel 4 available. The pool area was very good, plenty of Sunbeds and chairs and tables available. Didn't use the indoor pool, but again it looked fine. We stayed in room 917, which had splendid sea views. Have already booked to stay at this hotel again. in October this year, when we hope to get a similar high room. Just like to thank all the staff at the hotel for helping to make our holiday memorable. Collapse

Simply the greatest feeling hotel ive ever been to, whilst the hotel it self is not the swankiest or nicest ive been to the following points make it the best family vibe of any hotel ive stayed in. 1. Fantastic food 4* 2.Brilliant entertainment 4* 3. Great service & Bar staff 5* There is an over whelming feeling that the staff love working there and the hotel is ran brilliantly. Entertainment is fantastic for older kids/teens or even young adults. There is a modern cool beach bar / cocktail club directly over the road on the beach. The cleaners dance round the pool serving sangria and tapas at the end of there shift it feels like everybody is having fun at this hotel i would strongly recommend this hotel Collapse
