We have just returned from a weeks stay, we stayed in hotel 1 and had a beautiful sea & pool view. Our room was spotless and cleaned every day with clean towels replaced daily. There was a great selection of food at each sitting, could it have been hotter? Yes, did it stop me eating? No. 99% of staff were incredibly friendly and helpful just 1 or 2 could do with a little extra customer care training but not the end if the world. The seating and sunbeds around the pool were always available possibly due to the fact that it was the end of October so the hotel was not at full capacity. 0 Collapse

Another amazing stay in Mar Amantis 1. Reviewed hotel last year and didnt think it could possibly get any better but they really pulled out all the stops this year. Arrived at the hotel for a prompt check in and to be upgraded to a superior rooms overlooking the sea. When i say it was spectacular it really was and we are already booking up again next year. The rooms are beautiful and cleaned every day and the staff from maids to reception all go above and beyond to make your holiday just fabulous. Cant thank Christian in reception enough for everything he did to make the holiday even more memorable , hes an absolute star and also Joanna in reception aswell as Manuel for getting us promptly seated for meal times and always with a massive smile on his face even when its busy which it always is and if your going to moan about waiting a few mins then book a 5* and pay more . The food is amazing and if you dont want to go to the restaurant you can eat in snack bar at various times of day where the food is also delicious. There is entertainment every evening and it was all fantastic fun where kids and adults can both join in but if the kids dont want to watch entertainment then why not let them play on the x boxes with a choice of games and only 1 euro and lasts ages at least 15 mins. You cant complain at that. The resort itself is fabulous and loads to do and see and my kids loved the boat tour which was well worth the money at 16 euros. Don't delay book today and i promise youll love it !!!!! This hotel really deserves a better star rating as its far exceeding its current 3* . Picture of our room wow !!! Collapse

We stayed here for a week in October for my birthday.the hotel was loverly and clean and the staff were loverly and could not do enough for you.the food was the same every day,and mostly cold.we ate out most days,there was some entertainment in the sister hotel a cross the road but did not start until about 10 pm.so we went out most evenings.snack bar was across the road in sister hotel,it was fresh and hot.we enjoyed our stay but would probably not go back there again. This was are first visit to Ibiza. __ Arrived at airport at 11am, meet by Jet 2 rep and directed to bus stop, had to wait for about 15 min for bus, ( not a problem ) took about 45 min to transfer to hotel, First class bus driver had case out ready when we got off bus and showed us the way to reception. __ As we arrived at 12 noon room was not ready, we were give are wrist bands and offered full use of bar and restaurant. Case left in locked room behind reception. We got our room about 3pm, it was very clean and well set out. __ My wife and I are both late 60's on a 3 night break, the room over looked the reception, quiet with view of sea and bay. __ Plenty of hangers in wardrobes and loads of draws and stand for cases.. Our first visit to the restaurant was a pleasure, __ a quick wake round to find a table, __ then to find a meal there was a lot of choose something to suit all tastes. __ Food was hot and plentiful with a good salad selection and plenty of breads and fresh fruit, __ also a good mix of desserts. Drinks are available from 10 am at the bar Coffee Tea Soft drinks and all your local alcoholic drinks. There are shops bars and restaurants on the main road. The staff in all departments were Great, doing all they could to make your holiday enjoyable. When we went to check out at 12 noon we were aked when we would be leaving, I said we get picked up at 5pm, I was told we had the use of all amenities till we left even Lunch in the restaurant. Only 2 mines points TV only had Sky news in english and Wifi 10 euros for 3 days but never got online.. __ This by no way affected are holiday. Best tip Bring your kettle ( hotel supply at 20 euros with coffee tea plus extras ) I would be more than happy to return to this hotel and would recommend to anybody... P.S. I have just booked for 12th June 2018 to celebrate are 60th wedding anniversary Collapse

Please do not book this hotel!!! I have added numerous trip advisors reviews as you can see from my profile and if there is something positive to say about a hotel I will say it over the last 40 odd reviews. This hotel however is appalling. From the rooms, to the rude and awful staff, the hygiene, and the food, I don't know where to start. I think my biggest issue is the fact that when you are booking this hotel they show nice photos on the website of clean rooms, but when you arrive you are placed in the second hotel over the road which is nothing like the photos on the website. It is a pure misrepresentation. Nowhere in the photographs (or description) on the website does one see a mattress dumped on the floor (apparently a third bed!) mould in the bathroom, a broken/unsuitable lock on the door, and furniture that is damaged. The photographs on the website depict a clean and well presented (if unremarkable) room. That is, unequivocally, not what we received. On arrival the bed sheets had red steins all over them and were left for 3 days until I complained to the hotel staff who begrudgingly came and changed them. I doubt they would have been changed the entire time we were there. This is really unhygienic. The pool is disgusting and I doubt is ever cleaned as there was faeces and other objects floating on the top. The air con looks like it was installed in 1950 and was useless. This is also an ‘all-inclusive hotel’ but has an area allocated to other guests who are German. I have never come across a hotel that is all inclusive but has a restriction on certain areas. If you want to make a cup of tea in your room you have to hire a kettle. Everything appeared to be extra even the so called upgrade! My 2 friends (one of which was very ill and had to cancel before she came) was well enough half way through the holiday to make the last 2 days. Even though all 3 rooms had been occupied by us all, they were both charged an EXTRA 175 Euros each to stay in rooms already taken by us. I think this is absolutely awful. I accept there is a charge but to make guests pay when the rooms were already occupied by us is terrible customer service and even fraudulent when the girls had already paid. The so called damaged lock on the balcony door was broken and replaced with a dodgy lock. As a group of girls staying in the room I didn't not feel that this was safe. I have made several complaints to Jet2 on the holiday itself and when I returned to the UK but they continue to ignore my request for compensation - at the very least to my 2 friends who were charged to stay in rooms already occupied us. If you complained to the hotel staff they were rude and told us to speak to Jet2. Jet2 told us to speak to the hotel. Nobody seems to take responsibility. Even the Jet2 Rep acknowledged that the hotel received numerous complaints about the so called 'third bed/mattress on the floor' issue yet nothing seems to get done. In fact the Rep had already seen another guest who was complaining about this before she came to see me. I spent half of my time on the phone upset about how things were handled. All in all I would urge anyone thinking about booking this hotel to go somewhere different. There are much better/nicer hotels in the area with good customer service. This hotel is in my view disgusting and neither Jet 2 nor the hotel will deal with any complaint you make adequately. I have now been forced to issue Proceedings against the Company and seek compensation. It has turned into a nightmare holiday. If anyone wants to email me directly about this hotel I can show them the photos of the issues raised above as I cannot seem to download them at the moment. Collapse
