Spread across two buildings, one having a small outside bar overlooking the sea plus the restaurant, the other having the main bar and a snack bar offering pizza, chips, toasties etc. Good choice of drinks, though all served in plastic cups. Food was ok, restaurant was very busy and at times chaotic, it is too small for the hotel size. We ate at the snack bar a few times and also had a packed lunch which was nice. Room was a decent size, bed was comfy with maid service every day. Wardrobes need some padding on the doors and oil on the hinges though as they were noisy. Good location, there are a few bars and shops nearby and the water taxi to San Antonio is outside the hotel, which was very handy. Collapse

Visited May 15th to May 22nd 2017 with 3 other couples to celebrate a 60th birthday. Group was sent to the second complex across the road from the beach front. We were allocated room directly opposite the road. The single glazed slidding door provided no barrier against the constant traffic noise as it was poorly maintained and problematic to close. This was also the case in the other rooms. Room in general was clean and sparsely furnished. Whilst the bar staff were friendly and efficient this did not help the fact that ALL drinks in the all inclusive package were served in half pint plastic glasses regardless of time of day or night. The bar area in the was extremely noisey partly due to the stag and hen parties present although Jet2 website states these parties are not accepted. The bar area was also poorly furnished with plastic tables and chairs. The beach front swimming area was breezy at the best of time and due to the shadows cast by the hotel could be chilly as well. Unfortunately not enough sunbeds to go around which led to people having to sit on the floor. The pool area at the rear of the complex across the road was better in terms of breeze protection and sunbed numbers. Breakfast was a letdown compared to vastly better lunch and evening meals. The roast beef and Yorkshire pudding was especially good. Outside the hotel were several large pub/clubs and none of the smaller quieter bars were music was not blasting out. All in all not the best all inclusive holiday we have had but the positive points just outway the negatives. Collapse

Hmm, in two minds about this hotel. Can't fault the cleanliness in the hotel overall. Cleaning staff always say " hola" Restaurant staff friendly. Reception helpful. We asked for an extra pillow and received it straight away. Also, the air conditioning wasn't working and that was fixed immediately. Unhappy with the old fashioned way of using keys. We asked for the wrong one by accident and didn't realise till we got to our room. But someone dishonest could have gone to that room and got in. Food ok, a varied choice, but could do with being warmer. It's stated on the website that they do not allow stag or hen parties but there were some there during our stay. Groups of men using foul language not caring if there are children there and general rowdiness. We were unlucky because we were placed in No 2 building facing onto the road. Okay in the day time but a nightmare most nights until after 5 am which is when the bars close just down the road. Asked to be moved but they said we would have to pay extra for a premium room. If you're walking into San Antonio beware the lucky lucky women. They try to shake your hand while asking you questions and before you know it they have put a cheap bracelet on your wrist even though you haven't said you want it. Obviously they want paying then. They are quite intimidating. If you want to go to Ibiza town there is a bus that runs on the street at the top of Mar Amantis 2. Catch the number 8 bus. Collapse
This is a very good hotel and I would pay a return visit.

Check in: arrived early about 11.30 for a 14.00 official check in and was given our room immediately, although had to pay €15.10 for tourist tax, €20 for Wi-Fi and €31 for safety deposit box with €10 of this as a deposit not the best of starts but good service to be checked in so quickly. We were roomed in Mar Amantis 1. Room very nice good standard of décor, good shower with complimentary products, room serviced daily with fresh towels for the bathroom and towels provided for going to the pool. Room had a balcony with a view over the bay absolutely beautiful, we had paid £140 extra with Thomas Cook for a premium room and was promised access to the 'chill out' zone and we would be provided with sunbeds on the beach, we were not allowed access to the chill out zone and there is not a beach good enough in front of the hotel for sunbeds to be placed very poor to pay for this and not receive the products we had paid for. All inclusive was excellent, food quality and selection to choose from every day of a high standard and varied every day you would have to be extremely picky not to find something that would satisfy your appetite. Snacks we did not use so couldn't comment on them. Drinks were of an average standard nothing exceptional and you were only allowed two drinks at a time ok if you are drinking shorts but if you are drinking beer as I was you only get served about a half pint not that great if you are from the UK and used to pints. Staff on the whole were very friendly and efficient apart from one lady bar staff member in Amantis 1 who seemed to look at all holiday members with contempt and kept on serving the wrong drink to us as she was more interested in speaking to whoever she was working with than listening to her customers. On the whole this is a very good hotel and if I was to return to San Antonio Bay it would be very high on my list for a return visit. Collapse

My partner and I stayed here for a few days at the beginning of May. We were allocated a room within building 1, the room we had was basic but we had a lot of space for the both of us. We had the AI package and this incuded all local beer/spirits/wines. The drinks were quite good, a few little cocktails available too. In the dining room there is help yourself beer and wine taps along with soft drinks too. For breakfast there was a wide selection: breads, cereals and hot food including bacon, sausages, omlettes etc. For lunch there was a wide choice: cold meats, bread, salad, hot food like chicken curry, rice, fries, pasta etc. For dinner again there was a wide choice with a changing menu each night: pasta, sea food, fries, pizza, salad, mixed grill etc. Snacks were available in building 2, a choice of burgers, sandwiches, fries, chicken nuggets etc. You also get ice-cream in building 1 next to the patio area. The pool areas were clean. The area in building 1 was a lot smaller and normally a bit busier than the pool area in building 2. Building 2 pool area had a lot more space. There is an area at the side of building 1 that is reserved off for guests with "passes", it was never used when we were there and it seemed like a waste of decent space. The local area around the hotel has a few decent bars and shops nearby. Its about 25 min walk into San Antonio, but there is a ferry that leaves directly outside the hotel that takes you across the bay. On checkout day they have a shower area in building 2 that you can use before heading for your flight home. There are a few negaitve points about the hotel that the hotel could address to get a better rating from myself: Room safe: you have to pay to use the safe (you get 10 euro back as a deposit), most hotels now include this standard and it's a bit annoying that they charge quite a lot for something that you need to rely on when on holiday to keep passport and money safe. It's also a very dated safe that needs a large key and the keyring includes your room number on it! Wifi: You have to pay for this too. It's also charged per device and not per room. Inside the hotel you get a good signal, however, it's not strong enough to use on the patio areas of the two hotels. Noise: It's a hotel in Ibiza so you can expect noise from guests. The cause of my noise complaints was actually from the room doors, they created so much noise as they slam shut instead of closing gently. They could look to upgrade the locks to keyless, this would allow them to put closers on the doors. There were a few stag and hen parties when we were there, but they never gave us any grief with noise or behviour. Collapse
