Came here early October with husband myself and another couple, after having our original hotel overbooked with our travel company. we accepted this hotel as we didn't want the hassle of having to find another at 4 days notice, We couldn't have wished for a better hotel and as added bonus for inconvenience free complementary upgrade to a sea view room was thrown in. we stayed in the Mar amantis 11. 1 was across the street, where they had the main entertainment hall and another snack bar. Lovely hotel, spotless throughout and the rooms were very modern and clean. our looked out across the bay and was a fab view. food wise in the hotel, plenty to choose from everyday cooked breakfast cereals breads etc, the usual. staff on the reception very helpful, and beer and drinks were plentyful with the all inclusive package. you had the option to dine outside on the terrace but these tables were very popular so got snapped up fairly quick, and to say it was october the hotel was still very busy. Water taxi across the bay to San Antonio town was worth the 2.50 euros but equally the walk into the town was just as nice along the sea front to the marina. The water taxi stopped right outside the hotel. This hotel couldnt have been better located and would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family looking for a break to San Antonio. Excellent. Myself and my partner spent six nights here just before they shut for the season. We were checked in early by a lady on reception who was was very efficient and polite. We had booked a premium room and we were very happy with our choice. We were allocated a room on the 4th floor with gorgeous sea and mountain views. The room itself was spotless with plenty of storage space. A lovely bathroom with nice toiletries and a walk in shower. We both agreed the extra cost for the upgrade was definitely worth it. The hotel itself is clean and tidy and the staff seemed to be constantly cleaning and tidying. Housekeeping also did a fantastic job everyday in the room. The balcony was also cleaned down after a storm which left everything covered in a red sandy dust. The restaurant was had a good choice of food, and also had a chef doing show cooking at every meal time too. I can't understand any negative comments about the food as we found it was always well presented with things being constantly replenished. Drinks at meal times were self serve wether it was alcohol, water or soft drinks. At other times it was the usual generous measures from the bar. Also there were ice creams to help yourself to at almost any time of the day. These were brand name ice creams too, not just the usual tub of vanilla or strawberry found at most all inclusive hotels. The outside pool area was lovely as it overlooked the bay area and the mountains. The water taxi across to San Antonio town went from right outside the hotel too (2.50€ each). Very handy if you don't fancy the walk. We did venture over to building two a few times on an evening for drinks but other than that we didn't spend any time over there as we had everything we needed in building one. I would like to mention staff who stood out for us; Fernando, who was just simply lovely. Always a smile and a hello for everyone. Christopher on the bar, a lovely chatty young man and very efficient. Also Raul who we saw just once behind the bar in building two who was constantly smiling and was always happy. Staff who's names I can't remember (sorry), the bar staff in building two, who after a couple of visits to the bar remembered the next night how much I'd enjoyed the "Azul line cocktail" and poured me one before I'd even ordered (I probably enjoyed them a little too much!) Also I would like to mention the ladies behind the bar in building one. I heard complaints from some guests saying they were miserable. I've got a really good tip for those customers.......Try smiling when you order your drinks and saying please and thank you. It works wonders, we never in our stay had a problem with any of them. They were pleasant and efficient every time with us. To sum it up we had a really good stay and I can't really find anything negative about this hotel. Just to add they also booked us an airport transfer for our last day at a cost of 20€ for both of us. Much cheaper than a local taxi and we were taken on a lovely scenic route back to the airport. The staff were as friendly as ever nothing was to much trouble for them. There were 7 of us in total including our latest addition to the family George aged 7 months. The hotel is situated in San Antonio bay so it's pretty quiet and you get more families here than people looking to party. This suited us fine as we like to sleep after a night out. The rooms were standard of Spain but nice and clean. The beds were super comfy. I slept very well at this hotel. The all inclusive I found was very good for the price. Lots of selection everyday and variety each day. I have stayed in a couple of all inclusive hotels in Ibiza and they have been awful (serving only burgers and chips!) There is a bar near the pool and also a main bar near the lobby. The selection of drinks on offer is also better than most all inclusives in Ibiza. The pool area is very big (3 pools in total) and there are plenty of loungers. I would definitely return to this hotel. Collapse
