Stayed here for 9 nights recently and was pleasantly surprised having read some of the more negative reviews. Contacted reception prior to arrival to upgrade our room so we had a sea view and it really is worth the €10per day. Beautiful views across Adeje and as other have said you can see thr animal shows in Aqua land if that floats your boat! Apartment was basic but spotlessly clean and we had a maid service on 8 of the 9 days. If you had wanted to cook meals etc then all of the essentials could be found. Personally we never bothered as we preferred to walk down the hill to the excellent restaurants and bars the resort has to offer. Wasn't looking forward to the hill having read some reviews but its no problems and only about a 5-10 minute walk to get to the beach. The pool area was immaculate and very peaceful with sun all day. The Splash Bar is nice for a refreshing cold beer with great staff, the food is of a basic but good quality British variety. There was entertainment most evenings but it was pretty dire and the only thing that let the place down. But all in all we had an excellent time at a great price and would have no hesitation in staying here again. Collapse

This was my first holiday without parents, and the first with my partner. I'm very happy to say it was an overall success, and Malibu Park played a large part in that. Before I go on I will say that my partner is Chilean so she did the vast majority of the talking which may have made things a little smoother. We arrived at Malibu park around 7:30 pm, despite that late arrival we were checked in very quickly. There was a problem with the room we booked and so we were put into a luxury apartment and were told to come back to reception at around 12 the following day and our new room would be ready for us. The apartment was beautiful, very clean and the bed was REALLY comfortable! We had a great view of the mountains and the balcony is quite large. We did notice that the only cooking appliance was a microwave and there was very little in the way of cutlery etc. So as wonderful as it was we were a little relieved to be switching rooms as we were hoping to do some cooking. When we returned to reception the next morning with all our belongings we were told our room wouldn't be ready until about 1, but we were allowed to leave our stuff at reception and go and explore until it was ready. We loved the studio apartment (room 2107), sure it was dated and the beds were a little less comfortable but it had everything we needed and was really spacious! The kitchen had a kettle, toaster, oven, fridge, a few pots and pans and cooking utensils. There was enough cutlery for a family of four! We were able to make breakfast and lunch, and even a decent dinner on occasion! The apartment was always very clean and we have the maids to thank for that. Our balcony always had sun and had a great sea view, we could even see the smaller neighbouring island La Gomera! However it is right next to the stairs so I have been caught in my underwear a few times, but lesson learned haha! We did notice a little noise from the permeant residence but in all honesty it was absolutely fine, it never kept us up at night! The pool area was spectacular, always clean and there was always enough sun beds. The pool was freezing (colder than the sea in fact) but it was the end of January so it was expected, never stopped my partner or myself having a swim though. One thing we did notice is that it was always quiet, which I'm sure some will love but for us it was a little too quiet. We always felt that we had to tip toe around as to not disturb people, every time we were in the pool (we were always the only two using it) we felt like it may have been annoying some of the other guests. This was a little disappointing as we love the water and weren't fully able to enjoy it. We only ate at the splash bar a few times (mostly to takeaway) but when we did the food was always nice, nothing special just what you'd expect. It was great for a lazy day. The atmosphere was very sports oriented, which I'm sure most will love but wasn't really our thing so we didn't eat there much, the service was always friendly and helpful bar, one occasion where there was a misunderstanding with which language we were using. Awkward. There are an abundance of shops and restaurants in the vicinity, you really are spoilt for choice. Overall it was a great stay, we really felt like it was home. Staff were very helpful and friendly. And for any potential LGBT+ visitors that may be reading, we never felt judged or uncomfortable so that was really lovely. Collapse

We stayed here in July and had such a lovely time we decided to come back again in the hope of some December sunshine. We booked very close to our travel dates so had to make alternative arrangements for the first 5 nights of a 16 night holiday. We were given a 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom(showers only) apartment which included a washing machine, microwave, large fridge freezer and hob. The apartment had 2 balconies ...The one from the main bedroom being a huge terrace styled one, with the most spectacular views to sit and watch the sunset. The front one overlooking Aqualand where the dolphin shows were clearly visible. We dealt with Andrei when making the booking who was absolutely wonderful and very helpful when it came to making the booking. We were charged in advance for the first night and the rest on arrival. The apartment was given to us in a clean and tidy condition and we ensured we kept it that way throughout our stay. There was 6 of us in total and we fit comfortably in the apartment. The staff at hotel Malibu were always available if we ever needed anything and the lifeguard was wonderful interacting with guests and ensuring the pool area was kept tidy and clean. Despite language barriers he was even teaching my eldest son breathing techniques to float on the water and would always say hello and pass us the sun Loungers if needed. The only complaint i can think of would be the swimming pools were very cold. We still braved it and had a couple of swims but by December heated pools would have had us splashing about all day. The splash bar has a couple of pool tables, table tennis, books and even a ps4 and the staff were also lovely and helpful. I love it here within the complex of whitewashed buildings and walkways filled with tropical plants, cactai and even a banana tree!!!. The apartments are set in a peaceful location with local amenities including a supermarket, barbers, cafes, bars and a water park all no more than 5 minutes away.A 20 minute walk is all it takes to reach the livelier places and beaches. I Cannot wait to come back as I think the local people, location, and year round beautiful weather make this a fantastic place to spend some quality time with family A huge thank you to all from myself and my family xxx Collapse
