Excellent hotel for a 3*** Quick check in. I was given a map showing other 3* Magic hotels in the group we could access without booking or surcharge and use the AI facilities "Villa" & "Felicia" Asked reception for Kettle in room. Put in room within 1hr. Decent drinks selection on AI package. Good and varied selection of food available in 2 restaurants. Safe available at cost of 2.50 Euros per day + 15 Euro Deposit returned at checkout when key returned Large room with Fridge, balcony and serviced every day. Lots of storage Air Con in room Used both the Villa hotel and Felicia during our stay. Villa was a smaller hotel near the beach and was very friendly. Ate Lunch here a couple of times. Only used Felicia in Old town area for a drink once, Seemed OK. Crisps and nuts available. Scoop onto paper plates when getting your drinks, Only down side for me was the elderly Spanish women guests seemed to have no manners whatsoever. Men were very polite and manner-able but the women were just down right rude. Pushed in at meal times. Stood in the most awkward places and made no attempt to move even when prompted. Although this would not put me off staying at this hotel again I would certainly not be so patient the next time. All in all a great value for money stay. Might consider a higher star hotel the next time to allow free access to more hotels in the chain. Collapse

Stayed 5 nights all-inclusive 28 Oct 2 Nov we go all inclusive twice a year and this hotel is by far the best food to date , not only variety but quality , anyone that says different are looking for something to moan about. Maids came everyday , spotless. The pool is inconvenient if your kids are too big for toddler splash pool but not quite swimming by themselves and it is freezing as its under a roof , no sun to warm it up. The lifts are a pain but there again its the same where ever you go . great location for old town or a 25 min stroll to new town . magic cafe is great they really make the effort. Any one that books this hotel , you really have nothing to worry about . Collapse

My son (9 year old) and I travelled towards the end of October to the Magic Cristal Park Hotel in Benidorm. We had an amazing stay in this hotel and I couldn't find one fault, in fact, it was so good that we immediately came home and booked again for the same week next year! I've read a lot of not very pleasant reviews online and I guess it really depends on what you are looking for in a holiday. Our room was clean, tidy and the bathroom was recently refurbished. Beds were comfortable and our room had ample space for the two of us. Even though our room faced the road, there wasn't one issue the entire week with us getting a good nights sleep. The pool is small, but the fact it's inside was a bonus for me because my son spent 7 hours in there one day and at least I knew he wasn't going to burn!! The food in the restaurants is well cooked and delicious, although compared to other AI hotels I've stayed in, there isn't as much selection and my Son did struggle a little, but it certainly hasn't put us off going back. The hotel is in an absolutely prime position in the Old Town, a few minutes walk from the main shopping area and a stones throw from one of the most beautiful beaches I've had the good fortune to visit. Staff in the hotel were all wonderfully warm and friendly, indulging my son and I as we tried to pick up a little bit of Spanish during our stay. Reception Staff were engaging, Bar staff were friendly and funny and the rooms were tidied daily by the excellent cleaning staff. If you are looking for a no-frills week away, and care more about the people you are with and the experience, then definitely book here! Collapse

I have to give an honest review but feel a bit bad as the staff were fantastic, they couldn't do enough to try and make the stay good. Remember this is a cheap all inclusive hotel and you cant have cheap and 4 star Room was dated but spotless, cleaned daily and kept really clean. Bed comfy and good aircon English channels on tv and noise level good. The bad part was the bathroom, it seemed someone had painted the bath and tiles and the paint came off when you used it. I know I would have been offered another room if I complained but I didn't complain. I know I would have been offered as my brother did complain and was given another room with what looked like a new bathroom in it. The food was average, I have stayed in 6 hotels in Benidorm and it was better than 4 of them it wasn't what I would eat at home and other guests seemed to fill their boots The bar was all international spirits and the bar staff were fab, lots of families in the bar who were there to get drunk and no more, however there was no trouble in there and what do you expect when it is all inc They had a magic bar in the basement with entertainment with karaoke and disco, the thing that spoilt it was kids were allowed so it was tired children and chavy parents who were happy to get drunk and watch their 3 year old scream or run around the dancefloor You might notice I haven't mentioned the pool. I never had a chance to use it as it was always full of kids despite there being a kids pool. Parents again sitting at the pool bar most didn't even have sight of where their kids were. The hotel staff were vigilant so they cannot be blamed Overall it is a 3 star hotel, staff are excellent and if you want a cheap stay in the old town the rooms is clean and food manageable. I don't think I quite fitted in with the clientele as I don't own a shiny tracksuit or a football top or leggings and I have a waist Collapse

This hotel has obviously been around for years ...staff were friendly but the hotel lets itself down big time. Check in takes an hour just for yourself that doesn’t include standing waiting for over an hour!! We were all inclusive. Bedroom for 4 female adults was tiny... no room to move & with only 2 plug points in the whole room ...impossible to get ready! Food was very Spanish & not edible ..bar snacks consisted of crisps!! No hot food available! The guests consisted mainly of Spanish & they totally took over the hotel. Hated the fact that the swimming pool is on the top floor & under cover ...never went in as I was told it was freezing not surprised since it doesn’t see sunshine. We spent most of our time out of the hotel & will never go back to this hotel & would never recommend it. Collapse
