I have been to various hotels around Spain and canary islands and this is by far the best hotel I've ever been too. All staff from reception to entertainment, bar staff to cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. It was my sons 4th birthday while we were there and they made him feel very special bringing out a cake and singing to him. The kids club were always very friendly with our very shy son and tried to encourage him to join in. Barman in mogambo bar was always very friendly and made us laugh lots. The hotel is huge but you'll find your way around quite easily if you listen to the reception when you check in. And for a big hotel, every room is always spotless! Only fault could be that the room key cards were faulty a few times, but this was easily resolved with a trip to reception. Cardiac hill is not as bad as people make out! We walked all the way to the other hotels and back and we're still able to walk up the hill without any issues. Definitely looking at booking up again asap! Thank you for a lovely time Magic Rock! Great hotel!!! - Very friendly service by the staff and hotel rooms were cleaned every day. The food was great and the entertainment provided by Sam (and Juanco behind the bar) in the Mogambo bar was brilliant.

Room 323, 10th-15th February, all inclusive. The spa, top floor chill zone, slides and splash zone were all closed as too early in the season . Room: TIP- if you want a sea view I'd suggest getting a room third floor and higher ending in numbers in the 20's! Balcony rooms are the highest numbers on each floor, only a handful of them though. Our room was exactly as in promo photos, as is the rest of the hotel. Fridge and tea making in rooms, I had two double beds and a sofa seating area. Bathroom nice, with hairdryer. Really good massive rainfall shower above bath. FOOD: Found it all rather nice, we never went hungry. Snack cafe and main restaurant were our main haunts, didn't feel the need to go to the flasher one. If you need a pack lunch just ask at main reception the night before. BARS: All good and helpful, premium spirits on all inclusive, cocktails/mocktails and branded soft drinks. Massive measures Entertainment: Went to a few shows, rather funny as some were so bad they were good and some were excellent. Kids loved them. We chose to see the shows in the international/Spanish show room as more space, the English shows area is skinny, cramped, has no ambiance, loud and resembles a waiting room or something... Did that room once and that was enough! KIDS CLUB/AREAS: Ace, soft play area went down a treat, added bonus that it doesn't shut until 11pm. The water slides etc were all shut as too early in the season... Which made us sad. Just main pool open. Mini disco, the same the world over and my kids loved it. AREA: Close to beach, short walk down a small hill (it's really not as bad as people have made out on previous reviews). Massive high rise buildings everywhere, two beasts tower over the hotels pool area and get in the way of the sea views mostly. Benidorm is very, eeerrrrmmm... cheesy, so if you're looking for a cultured authentic Spain holiday this area is really not it. Saying that my kids loved all the cheese and tat, so the holiday was actually a winner. SUMMARY: Lifts and staircase routes are a bit confusing but your kids will suss it within two days and will help you out! It's a very clean hotel throughout, helpful staff everywhere. I'd come back here but again only out of peak season as I'm sure it would be manic in high season. I'm not the biggest fan of Benidorm, this was my first time here. If I could pick up this hotel and put it somewhere else I'd be their most frequently returning visitor. With flights/all inclusive I paid £195pp via Teletext holidays. Collapse

This hotel is absolutely brilliant for kids !! We took our 3 children ages 17 12 and 10 to benidorm for their first holiday abroad and we couldnt have chosen a better hotel the reception staff were great very welcoming we stayed on the top floor in a family room wow what can i say it was a good size plenty of room to move about lovely views of benidorm The hotel was spotless lots of things for the kids to do they even had a foam party the pool is a good size although it is always freezing cold because you lose the sun round the pool by 3pm We stayed all inclusive and we certainly used it the food was lovely something for everybody my kids are really fussy eaters but found things to eat the drinks was good also slush for the kids cocktails for the adults as well as the usual beers and spirits and soft drinks it is up a steep hill but we didnt mind walking to and from the hotel. We wouldnt hesitate to stay again. Collapse

My family and myself stayed at this hotel all inclusive on our 1st visit to Benidorm. Although the hotel and rooms were fine, there wasn't very much food for vegetarians. I did ask at reception and they did put extra on but only for the rest of that day. So we had to try and make do or go out to eat. The pool was freezing cold, my husband got in then jumped straight back out, so the kids couldn't enjoy the pool during our stay here. It took a couple of days to get used to the hotel as you had to go to different restaurants so you could get a bit lost. We would probably stay at this hotel again, but in the warmer weather and go self catering or bed and breakfast and eat out the rest of the time. Collapse
