You’ll find complete tranquillity during your stay at Dar Al Masyaf. Inspired by the traditional courtyard summer houses of old Arabia, these standalone two-storey houses offer an exquisitely designed hideaway – the premium accommodation of our resort. Coming and going is pleasing in itself, with the houses accessible by scenic waterways and paths that wind their way through lush landscaped gardens. Inside, you’ll experience the height of luxury, with beautifully appointed, light and spacious guest rooms and suites.
When you’re ready to venture out, you’ll find the beach easily accessible, as well as the many facilities of the resort – including restaurants, the famous Souk Madinat, the Talise Spa and activities including tennis, squash, aerobics and our state-of-the-art gymnasium.
Hidden within Madinat Jumeirah’s captivating waterways and architectural marvels is the resort’s most luxurious accommodation – the Malakiya Villas. The villas offer spacious bedrooms, oversized marble-clad bathrooms, generous living spaces, fully furnished kitchens and private terraces overlooking the waterways and resort.

We stayed here for three nights with our 8 month old son. It’s was an incredible and memorable experience. The staff, property and attention to detail was flawless. We didn’t want to leave the grounds as there was so much to see. Christmas was a spectacular time to stay. The butler service was friendly and prompt. No request was turned away, as traveling with a baby with we had certain requirements. We can’t wait to return, next time we will stay longer Collapse

I stayed for 6 nights with my mum in villa 21 room 9 which is located on upper floor in quiet location facing canal (see the pictures below). From the early arrival (I appreciate it since it wasn't guaranteed and welcome drink) till our departure we were treated like a royalty and I would like to thank to all the staff who were very friendly with genuine smile. I am probably not the most typical customer at DAM, since I do not spent for my holidays as much as I did or travel a lot but I was so glad I chose the villa and was always happy to come back from our trips and all the noise of Dubai downtown. In the past I stayed in self catering accommodations in Scotland, Norway or Switzerland hence I was sceptical about the whole Dubai experience. I am more of a "nature guy" but thanks to DAM and all the staff I was blown away. I've worked in hotel industry for 20 years and was also impressed about the logistics of such a huge luxury resort. The level of personal service and quiet location full of greenery and singing birds cannot be beaten anywhere in Dubai. I particularly like the evening atmosphere at the Madinat while on abra boat and having morning coffee on the balcony surrounded by tranquil gardens and waterways. The grounds are immaculate and I haven't seen any rubbish or cigarettes anywhere even if I was looking for them in the bushes:) What I liked about my whole experience was the choices for the various customer segments. If I didn't feel like, I could go out of my room through the side entrance "quietly" without seeing anybody or whenever I needed help, the concierge was always handy. The dining options are also great whether I prefer atmosphere over choices of the buffet. It's hard to single out any names but from the concierge team special thanks to pregnant lady (sorry about my bad memory) who showed us to the room and explained everything and Samara who was on duty most of the times while we were there. She was always professional and helped us with restaurant bookings, etc. Happy hours from 6 till 8 pm is also a unique concept at DAM because we could enjoy free drinks and meeting up other guests from our villa while waiting for abra or buggy to take us to restaurant. With regards to the breakfast, we preferred Arboretum in Al Qasr over Mina A'Salam simply because of service and more attentive and organized staff. Otherwise nothing wrong with buffet choices in either of them. Indeed the décor and chandeliers at Al Qasr are amazing. For the guests looking for buzz and partying Jumeirah Beach Hotel seems to be popular but for more relaxed and classy atmosphere we were happy with our choice. The transport towards the beach was not an issue and we always met a buggy on our way and never needed to book one. We also visited Zabeel Saray on the Palm. While inside it is spectacular, the beach and the views are not the same. Also the location of the Palm and transportation is not to my taste. From the tours the most we enjoyed the desert safari with Platinum Heritage. It gave us a different perspective of the life outside the city. It seemed very authentic, more private and well worth to pay extra. The camp was very clean with plenty of tasty food and there was only 70 of us unlike other tours where are hundreds and not very environment friendly. So once again thank you very much to everybody for a holiday of a lifetime. I wish I could afford to come more often but thanks to the level of service and surroundings I would like to be back some time which I did not think I would say before my visit to Dubai as a city. I am sure there are other beautiful places around the world which I did not see or can compare with but as a whole package with service, peace, architecture, beach, dining or city life, Dar Al Masyaf is tough to beat. I almost forgot to mention great housekeeping team who prepared selection of animals from towels during our stay, replenished all the fruits, water, toiletries, etc. and kept the room tidy. Collapse

This hotel was by far the best luxury hotel that we have stayed in so far. It is gorgeous, has amazing rooms, a beautiful beach, stunning pools, a huge variety of cuisines to choose from with eclectic quality, a boat service to transport from one end of the property to another and butlers and staff members who make your stay as memorable as can be. I am at a loss of words to say how amazing our stay here was and the hard work the hotel management puts in keeping this hotel clean and beautiful. Exceptional, amazing, grand. Collapse
