The hotel itself lived up to its impressive appearance. however, the spa facilities were far from what i expected. In particular there was no Jacuzzi, or other special shower facilities ( unlike the sister hotel, 10 miles away, The Berystede). A disappointing feature was that while weddings were taking place the lounge area was not available to guests, as it was used for the wedding ceremony. This was particularly galling because (The Gold Room) was an exceptional room , the centre piece of the hotel. Collapse

Stay in Frimlay Hall hotel was most enjoyable. Used as a base to travel to surrounding area and to visits friends and relatives. Stayed for two nights with dinner included on first night. Food in restaurant was lovely service was good. Room not too big but well decorated with nice en-suite. Would definately stay again if same offer was on. Hotel a little out of the way but with the car was no problem. Collapse

Well where do I start late Mother’s day gift for my mum who is dairy free this looked like a beautiful place to take her with the added bonus that they cater for dairy free. Rang to confirm this with my booking to be told would be same as the standard afternoon tea just a dairy free variation. This was not the case arrived to slow service no direction to where should be seated until I found a memeber of staff that could finally help. When food finally came out I asked if the dairy free was on the same plate to be told they didn’t know I was having dairy free after waiting again was provided with d.f sandwiches nice big chunky triangles thrown together on a plate where were the dainty finger sandwiches? unappetising as the whole experience was. Ham I don’t think you could even call it that completely in edible an after thought we’re some cakes thrown on another plate d.f I doubt possibly gluten free. Main afternoon tea no better cakes looked frozen let’s just say my 3 year old didn’t even touch the chocolate cake same with the bread possibly had just been defrosted or maybe stale had been told the scones were made on sight wish I could say this was a bonus but they were dry best bit was the cream and jam. Let’s just say left hungry and completely disappointed will not be returning. Collapse

I don’t even know where to start. Everything with this place is wrong. Before I start, I sent a complaint email 6 days ago and still haven’t heard back. I will keep this brief for you all. My partner is a nurse and had a very stressful week so I decided to take her to this ‘Spa’ (if you can call it that). As we arrived, we were told the restaurant was full for the night, so we couldn’t eat there. The bar (has 4 tables) was also full. There was a wedding that we weren’t made aware of, which is very embarrassing when we walked past them in our dressing gowns. This is NOT A SPA, it’s a community pool, overlooking the car park, full of kids running around, about 4/5 sun loungers (all being used the whole time), a tiny sauna/steam room (all full), inflatables in the pool and no jacuzzi. Changing rooms dirty and flooded. I got a feature executive double room which was dirty, something splattered on the wall and curtains and mould in shower. I complained and they said the only room we could move to was above the function room which had loud music until 12. We moved rooms and was up all night, saw 2 fights from wedding guests. Called 4 Times for room service and went dead every time. On the 5th time, someone answered and told me they were by the phone the whole time (yeah right) and that the wait was around 45mins... for a few drinks. I decided to go down and collect. Drinks were VERY expensive too. Ordered breakfast for our room which came cold, tasted like cardboard and missing things I ordered. As I mentioned, I complained 6 days ago and still haven’t heard anything back. Avoid this place like the plague, it was horrendous and the best part was when we left. Left more stressed than when we arrived. Collapse

I attended a spa day last weekend for a special birthday with a good friend. The booking, follow up call to confirm the treatment times and subsequent welcome on arrival by Lisa who was so friendly really set the right tone. I knew we were in safe hands and would have a relaxing day, I opted for the pedicure that was included within the package and (luckily for me) there was a cancellation and was able to book the superfood facial also with Becci my therapist- hands down the best treatment I’ve ever had!! The compliments I have had since make me want to go back and book one every weekend!! The pool was lovely and the perfect temperature, there were hotel guests using the pool too- but due to the size of the pool and general courtesy nobody was on top of one another. The afternoon tea included in package was served in the main lounge, and perfectly adjusted to suit my celiac friend who said the scones were some of the best she’s ever had. Thank you Frimley Hall for a truly memorable spa day, it’s certainly not the last you’ve seen of us! Can’t wait to come back x Collapse

Last week me and my husband visited the spa for our anniversary. The booking from start to finish was very professional. We received a confirmation email the same day of booking and a phone call the night before to re confirm our treatment times etc. On arrival we was greeted by the Spa manager, Lisa. We instantly felt relaxed and welcome. Nothing was too much to ask. Once we filled out our consultation forms for our treatment we was given our robes, towels and slippers and then given a tour around the spa. We was then ready to start the day. We had a treatment each, which were both amazing. I am 30 weeks pregnant. I had an hours facial and felt relaxed during and after. Which I haven’t felt for a while. My husband had a full body massage and said it was one of the best and he’s had a fair few. Just can’t remember the therapists names unfortunately. Afternoon tea was included in our package which was super yummy. It was served in the main lounge and we could even sit in our robes which was nice, save getting dressed. Prosecco was also included, however I opted for a coke which they kindly swapped. Overall, we have visited many spas before. And even though it’s a lot smaller than we are used to, it felt more relaxing. Was a nice quiet day mind you as we had most of the spa to ourselves. I will definitely be returning and I will recommend to friends and family :) Collapse

Stayed here for weekend to watch the golf at Wentworth. The location is tucked away behind a housing estate and is very quiet. Everything inside the hotel was average but clean. the hotel itself is in desperate need of a revamp with everything showing signs of ware and tare. Had one evening meal during our 4 night stay and wished we hadn't basic food at hotel prices. The gardens are a good retreat on a warm evening. Collapse
