We only stayed for one night, but it was enough to ensure we will be back. From the moment we checked in until we paid the bill, all staff were attentive and genuinely interested in their guests. We had a lovely room, an excellent evening meal and as always with this Hotel group a perfect breakfast. There was a wedding on whist we were there, but this is no way impacted on our service level. The hotel is convenient for Inverness but far away as to be peaceful and accessible.A special mention to Donna and Justyna for their excellent customer service skills. Stayed 1 night to attend a gala dinner, very nice staff, meal ok, very nice spacious room with a large bathroom. Very nice breakfast. A bit far from the town centre, about £10 in a taxi, but overall a very pleasant stay.

When arrived, we were welcomed by the lovely Molly - She's a diamond! Very welcoming and all information needed was given. She pointed us to the lounge where we could get some dinner before the event we were attending. This is where we met the handsome Tamas. Nothing was a problem, great memory and a lovely smile. We asked him and he delivered. We then met Graeme - operations manager - Gem of a man. Great big smile on his face throughout the day, again nothing a problem and had the hotel very much under control. Everyone at the hotel seemed to be having a lovely stay. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. I can definitely recommend the haddock and poached eggs. We will definitely be back. Thanks Graeme and all the staff! Collapse

Recently stayed here for a family wedding and would highly recommend not only staying here but also for a wedding venue. The building on arrival was just how I expected from seeing the photos- beautiful! and the large parking area etc is also an added bonus. The room was all and more that I expected for the price. A lovely bright, clean and very spacious room (family room), the bed was massive (managed to fit myself and two kids with plenty room for one more), probably the best nights sleep I have had in a long time. Comfy bed and lots of feather pillows. The room had all amenities ie dressing table, double mirrored wardrobe, bedside cabinets, plenty lighting, good sized bathroom with separate bath and shower (shower was amazing- hot power shower). The lounge area next to the reception, the steps leading down to our suite and all other areas visited were equally as beautiful and worth mentioning. The staff were simply amazing, very friendly and highly professional and could not have done more for our group of over 100 guests. Nothing was too much of a trouble for them! (special mention to Andrew who was working at night time). Sadly it was too cold to really explore the gardens, but from where I did explore for photos etc it was beautiful.(Perhaps I will get to properly explore on a better day). Food was faultless and outstanding and I will definitely be revisiting for dinner at a later date. I had the Scotch Broth for my starter , 12 hour Black Isle Ale braised Scotch beef, spring onion and hispi cabbage potato puree, thyme jus (would highly recommend this)- probably the best beef I’ve ever tasted and many other guests complimented how tender the beef was and how good it was, for dessert I had Sticky toffee pudding, pecan butterscotch sauce, cappuccino crème Chantilly, vanilla ice cream - this just finished off a perfect meal! All meals were beautifully presented and delicious! For breakfast we opted for breakfast in the room (a little novelty for the kids), ordered a range of items for us all the share- full English, boiled eggs and soldiers, cereal, toast and preserves, tea, coffee and juices. Definitely worth the £5 tray charge. Full English items were definitely fresh and high quality ingredients. I also got a sneak peak of the bridal suite.... beautiful! I could not fault our stay as I could have quite easily have moved in after such a good nights sleep and I don’t mean this to be a negative as it is certainly not it’s just a shame that a hotel of this size does not have any leisure, health and wellbeing facilities. Our room cost us £138 and although I really enjoyed our stay, I do think that when comparing others I would opt for leisure facilities. Will try out dinner sometime and a big thank you to all the staff Collapse

This hotel is a sad sign of lack of investment. A little out of town, this hotel could be somewhat of a gem, however when my partner & I arrived, we were greeted by reception but pretty much left to it thereafter. Welcome didn’t seem particularly warm, and neither did the hotel. Tired staircase decor & narrow dark corridors are a feature. On entering the room, we were met with a stale smell, which soon left once we opened the windows, however as the wind was getting up outside we closed the windows over. During the evening, as we were on the top floor we didn’t get much sleep due to the constant creaking of the dorma windows / roof. The room is equipped with an early 2000’s lcd tv, which had a great sound, but poor quality picture. The bathroom was well equipped, however mirror was hanging off the wall, mould in the shower tray & was generally unclean. Breakfast in the morning was ok, but the staff seemed upset to be there, and the supervisor equally so & could learn to smile. We wouldn’t be in a rush to go back & I’m assuming most guests would feel the same. Time for some quality checks to be done! Collapse
