We have just returned from hotel Los patos for the second time. We also went last August. This hotel and location is as amazing as my first review said. Upon arrival the kids were once again given a free hotel Los patos park towel which is a really sweet touch. The reception staff were friendly as they was last year. Since last year the rooms have been refurbished and they are now very modern. The rooms have a mini fridge for drinks and a TV with English channels on them. There is a big glass wardrobe and the beds are comfy enough for a holiday. We requested a pool view between floors 3 and 6 and were given the perfect room when we arrived just as we had asked for. Couldn't have asked for better to be honest. The rooms are spotless because the maid service is EVERY day. Speaking of cleanliness, the maids are absolutely lovely but not only that they are everywhere, there is always a maid around cleaning something. The whole hotel is immaculate. We went all inclusive and like last year the variety of food was good and was good quality. The variety of drinks on the all inclusive is good and you also get free ice cream and local crisps for it too. We didn't eat at the snack bar this year but last year the food was good (chicken nuggets, hot dogs etc). If like me you don't like cruz campo, which is the all inclusive beer you get then it's only an extra euro to get a budweiser, Heineken etc. The swimming pools here are fabulous. There are 3 of them including a splash park for the kids which have a variety of slides, I admit I went down the pirate slide myself a few times, you've got to make a fool of yourself for the kids haven't you? My kids could have spent all day in that pool. There is also a pool with bigger slides for the better swimmers and adults. My 7 year old couldn't get enough of them. There are also lifeguards on duty at all times. There is a bar next to the pool too. The night time entertainment was good quality. The entertainer was good with kids and adults alike. There is a mini disco every night for the kids and a show every night too including flamenco dancing, samba dancing, bird shows and magician. The shows are repeated weekly so I think I'd be a bit bored at night doing two weeks but other than that it's fantastic. They do adult games too. The location of this hotel is amazing. The hotel is literally up the road from the beach. Next to lots of shops and close by to restaurants, it is close by to paloma park and the dolphin marina. It's half hour walk to sealife centre and the marina. What I would like to finish by saying is that the staff here work incredibly hard. It seemed the bar staff never went home. Salva in the restaurant is great and always interacted with our kids both years. The time the waiters cleared the tables was incredible too. So efficient and of course as previously said the maids. Put it this way, this hotel is so good my 7 year old cried his eyes out when it was time to go home and my 3 year old said 'I want to go back' when we got home. We were planning on going somewhere else just to try somewhere new next time we go away but we've now said we could be coming back for the 3rd time. The reviews speak for themselves. Collapse

We had a lovely family holiday at Los Patos Park at the beginning of July. This hotel is fab!! We stayed on an all inclusive basis and could not fault the food or the drinks, all premium brands. The hotel is very clean and the staff were constantly cleaning public areas. My 4 year old was kept entertained with the children's pool and the slides! The grown ups enjoyed the slides to!! The hotel is situated close to the beach and bars and restaurants. You do not have to queue for the the sunbeds there is alternative beds not situated by the pool and these were available around 9am. The queues for around the pool started early and was quite a watch when the gates opened!! We enjoyed this hotel so much we have booked for next July also! Can't wait and hope this hotel is just as fab next time. Collapse

Arrived very late, warm welcome from reception. There was also a dinner waiting for us, this was ham cheese and salad and a few other things but greatly received after a long and delayed flight. Room did not have a pool view, but was could see the sea and the marina (in the distance). Room exceeded our expectations. Very clean through out and excellent beds(pillows a bit hard but hey). Cleaner worked very hard in outlet room as my son was constantly carrying a lot of sandals up in his shoes from the beach. Waiting staff and bar staff were great so friendly and helpful. Even the young man on security would say hello everyday. The pools make this place, my son is used to Orlando water parks, but he thought these were great as well, the plus side being you never waited more than a few minutes to slide. The lifeguards are very thorough and whilst some complained I am happy for people to be safety conscious, this is water and kids which sometimes just don't mix. Sun bed situation was fine, I never did the line up for 10am but always got a bed without a problem. I did witness a nasty exchange when some Spanish guests took it upon themselves to dispose of other people's towels. Needless to say Glasgow will always win that argument. Food was usual buffet at a Spanish hotel, nothing more and nothing less. All inclusive drinks very good, Cruzcampo beer premium for some spirits plus you get nuts and some crisps included. Also get ice lollies. Really is ultra all inclusive to say the least.you can pay an extra €1 to upgrade to strongbow or Heineken. This is the same for better lollies and crisps too. Hotel manager is very viable everyday and the door to her glass office is open to everyone. This is a nice touch too. Will we be back, yes I hope so but looking at the prices for next year maybe not all inclusive or a little more out of season. Thank you all for an amazing week at Los Paros Park. Collapse

Just back from 2 week in the Los Patos Park and we had a brilliant stay! We stayed bed and breakfast and had no complaints about the breakfast, plenty of choice! The pool is FANTASTIC and my 9 year old was never out of the slides, he made loads of friends which made it all the better! The smaller kiddie pool is great too and he'd often go down there for a splash around too! The last pool suits if you would like a little more peace and quiet around a pool and there is something for everyone in all the pools! The Lifeguards are very vigilant and very nice too and even have a joke around with the kids too! My son love his "floaty time" which was from 2-3 where the kids can bring their Lilo's into the slide pool, at which time the slides are turned off for that hour! The bar staff, reception staff etc are all very friendly and the snack bar was great for a quick lunch, sometimes I think a bit more variety there would have been nice but it was still good food! This hotel is IMMACULATE and the toilets are constantly being cleaned and the general hotel area is ..as I said ..immaculate! I have only a few tiny small complaints, I think the queuing in the morning is mental, my hubby had to start at 8.40 and the pool doesn't open till 10.00 if we wanted to get a seat by the slides to keep an eye on our boy, don't know how this could be fixed but it's worth reviewing and I think a bit of music by the pool would be nice, just a little to give a holiday buzz! It was great having the music when the floating bridge was on! I would have liked some tribute bands every now and then for the adults so we can have a good night in as well! BUT I wouldn't let any of this stop me booking this hotel again, my son LOVED the pool and we all had a great holiday! Location is perfect, beach is just across the road and you are very central to everything and if you wanted to go down to the marina it's only 7 euro in a taxi! Great hotel! Collapse
