These apartments are good for the price you pay, you can't go wrong perfect area only 3 minutes away from shopping and good bars. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable and the rooms were very big and have a lot of space. However my only problem was the showers were very powerful at the point it hurt your skin as it felt rough when trying to wash. Collapse

Stayed here for 2 weeks self-catering at the end of June/beginning of July 2017. 38 euros for a safe for 2 weeks (10 euro refundable deposit) - the saves are located in reception. Paid 24.20 euros (12.10 each) for 2 weeks when we arrived which is a newly introduced tourist tax on the Balearic Islands. We were told about this by our travel agent prior to flying and the amount payable varies depending on how long you stay for (you can find out more if you google). The wifi is not free, not even around the pool bar. It was 20 euros for 2 weeks or 15 euros for one week. Although not extortionate, it would have been nice to have it for free around the pool considering how much we paid for the holiday. The staff were helpful and friendly and the pool area was clean. There were plenty of sunbeds however only some could be adjusted to a sit up position and there were no sunbed cushions, making them uncomfortable to lie on. We booked via Jet 2 holidays and found that some of the pictures that we had been shown when booking were misleading. From the pictures advertised, some of the rooms were yellow and outdated, while a couple of the pictures show updated, clean rooms painted white with an Ikea table and chairs and a flatscreen TV. Upon arrival (Saturday) we were appointed an outdated yellow room, and although we weren't too bothered (as we only planned to use the room as a base), we decided to ask our Jet 2 rep on the Sunday whether the hotel was full and if there was any possibility that we could swap to a more modern white room, especially as we were staying for 2 weeks. The rep went to speak to reception and came back to tell us that reception had said that ALL of the rooms in the complex were yellow and decorated how our room was decorated. Obviously we couldn't view every apartment in the complex so this led us to question whether this 'modern' room was false advertisement on Jet 2's part or whether reception were fibbing - we feel the latter as the kitchens in the pictures Jet 2 were advertising were the same in the updated and outdated rooms so they'd clearly got the pictures from somewhere. Perhaps there's only one modern room in the complex for a good photo opportunity so everyone will book hoping they'll get that room! Either way, the outdated room fulfilled its purpose as a base. Our bedding was changed 2 or 3 times in 2 weeks, and the towels replaced every couple of days. While we ate out every night, the kitchen facilities were good enough for those wanting to eat in. There was a kettle and a toaster, alongside plenty of pots and pans. One fan is provided in each apartment and you can pay extra for another. There is no hair dryer. We had a ground floor apartment looking out onto the pool - this was appreciated as it was helpful when needing the loo and washing hands after applying sun cream. All in all the complex was quiet and kept clean, although it would look nicer with a lick of paint and a bit of a doing up inside and out. We only had breakfast and lunch at the pool bar a couple of times but it was reasonably priced. Be prepared for cockroaches as there's quite a sizeable gap under the door. RESORT - Cala'n Forcat (Los Delfines) Resort wise it completely depends on what you're looking for. As a young couple looking for a relaxing holiday with a nice meal and a few quiet cocktails on a night, this is not the place for you. We were aware that Menorca is family orientated, however I think we were surprised to the extent the resort had gone to to please kids. There were bouncy castles everywhere which put us off eating in some restaurants because we didn't pay to go on holiday to eat surrounded by screaming children jumping up and down! There were a handful of lovely restaurants (Yuca, Casual - situated behind the apartments, Es Replec), however there were definitely not enough nice places to eat somewhere different for 2 weeks unless you want to be surrounded by entertainment and playgrounds. There was one nice cocktail bar (can't remember the name but it was painted white and had lights wrapped around the palm trees), aside from this place we found the other places that we walked past to be extremely rowdy tacky, fuelled by karaoke and bingo. There also didn't seem to be any excursions advertised around the resort. There were plenty of leaflets in the apartments reception area but all of the excursions seemed to be quite far away. We would recommend visiting Cuitedella for it's shopping, food and history! The bus can be caught from right outside the apartments and is only 1.65 euro's each way. All in all a pleasant stay but would not return to the apartments or the resort. Collapse

They have also done away with the pay TV and have finally got an English channel ITV, only ONE! The handy little shop across the road for water, beer, wine, trinkets and clothing is closing down and moving up the road nearer the main shops, which is sad. I find it best to have an apartment on the ground floor by the pool and the bar/restaurant so you can sit in the shade when it gets too hot. Its far enough away from the noise of the main resort to chill out by the pool but only a short walk to the bars and restaurants, the nearest restaurant, Restaurante Yuca, serves a fantastic open grill meat feast. For a sunset drink the Voramar bar is handy, turn left outside reception, and for a local drink alongside the locals turn right outside reception to the Bar El Abrevadero. There are some lovely bars and restaurants in Ciutadella for a night out and the bus to and from there stop's right outside the Apartments. Collapse
