Thank you to the staff at this beautifully designed hotel for making my partner and I's stay so special! Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, plentiful and delicious breakfast and afternoon snacks, and excellent restaurant recommendations (Caffè Jardin. The best snails and traditional beef stew!) We recently got engaged and they certainly pulled out all the stops for us. We really appreciated it :o) This hotel is in a great location, just a 10-15mins metro ride from the city centre and in a quiet residential area with all the local amenities you'd want or need. We would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family. Collapse

For the first time I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel in Paris. First of all, it is located conveniently close to the metro station Saint George (Line 12). Moreover, the area of 9th arrondissement of Paris is a very charming place, in walking distance from Opéra, on one hand, and Sacré Cœur, on the other hand. Secondly, the hotel looks very stylish. It applies to both - the public area and the rooms as well. Thirdly, I cannot forget to mention amazing breakfast and free drinks and snacks during the afternoon and evening. Finally, the price was really attractive as well. Paris is not famous for its good service and great affordable hotels, that's why remember this hotel and book it if you want to be satisfied. Hotel was in a quiet area, about 10 mins walk to Moulin Rouge and 15 minutes walk to Haussmann-Saint-Lazare-Opéra district (shopping), be prepared for some uphill walking!!! plenty of places to eat and drink to sit in or take away. Staff were pleasant and check in was quick, free soft drinks, tea and coffe and snacks served in the lobby during set time. I stayed on 4th floor front facing overlooking Notre Dame street not much in the way of a view. Was a double room, nuetrally decorated, there was only me, room was small for a double, but adequate for me, but would be cosy if there were 2 people. Desk and chair, safe, hair dryer, mini bar, wide screen TV too big for the room! Tea and coffee making facilities were not in room however you could request tray from reception. Bathroom was in proportion to the room, toilet, sink and shower, basic toiletries. Room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily. Flooring throughout the 4th floor was creeky from the lift into the room which was a little annoying!. Breakfast room was nicely laid out, with juices, tea, coffee, breads, pastries, cereals & scrambled egg, bacon, sausage (not sure what type of sausage, not pork! offered, staff were helpfull and attentive, food replensihed often and tables cleared quickly. Over all it was a pleasant stay. Collapse

It was my first time to Paris alone and I was staying at this hotel for a full week. Firstly mini bar items are free. No liquor in the mini bar and that's good. As you enter the hotel it has to be opened by the front desk which is good and important due to security so meaning no Non-registered guests are allowed to enter. The room is accordingly to the photo as shown in their website. Only 1 incident in the initial stay whereby when I returned back to my room I found it was not locked. It was ajar and I quickly raised it to front desk. Front desk doesn't understand what I was trying to explain to them but they did send someone over to my room. I explained again that the door since I stayed can never locked when it closed by itself. Someone had to pull it to lock up. Subsequent nights the door was locked properly. Breakfast was included in my stay and it was at the basement. It was a nice cool place but you can hear faint train sound. That's fine. Daily breakfast was the same which I'm fine with it. No complain as I can't eat everything daily. In the afternoon at the small lounge area there were some pastries and drinks which are nice but I didn't get to try them. I would like to suggest that on and off someone should take a look and do a quick clean up as some guests didn't care and left food around or not cut nicely or properly so that next guest has a chance to eat the cakes or pastries. A little hygiene is good along the way. Maybe a sign to guests to tell them about it. The surrounding has a school or day care in front of the hotel so be prepared for children playing sound which I had no problem with it. Surrounding is quiet and I'm fine with this. It has 2 Bristols nearby with their own nice food. I need to find the Bristol that I frequented. It's at the round-about near the exit of St George subway. One night I asked for a takeaway food. It does not have that but cos I frequented this place for dinner the waiter is nice to ask me to bring the plate, fork and spoon back next day which I did. So they still give customer another option. They did ask me where I stay though. That's fine. I didn't know there was a theatre near the exit of St George till the last night of my stay. Anywhere I don't think I missed out much. One important thing is this hotel is 10-15 mins walking distance to Moulin Rouge. I was initially a bit fearful of walking back after the show at past 11 pm but as I walked it was fine and safe but of course you still have to be on the look out for strangers following you back.
