When we checked in the girl at the desk only confirmed my ID& credit card...no mention of any facilities or details regarding amenities, I had to ask her about wifi/breakfast/mini-bar. The room was unbearably hot, at least 30°C / 83°F...we had to leave our window, which overlooked a very noisy street, open in order to be inside the room or to sleep. The only answer front desk had for this was to turn off the radiator in the room, which we had already done. Furthermore the older lady in the breakfast room rushes up to you screaming BONJOUR over and over again without indicating that she needs your room number to note that you've had your breakfast. She needs to learn manners, I speak French fluently and still didn't know what she wanted because she didn't verbalize anything beyond screaming BONJOUR at you. The bathroom shower is set up in such a way to guarantee that the floor gets soaked, and the floorboards loudly creak with every step so you wake up anyone else in the room. I would never ever waste my money here again, I can't believe more people don't mention the overwhelming heat. It's truly insufferable. Collapse

Checked in on Saturday for 2 nights. Seamless checkin . Young staff were efficient, friendly and great overall. Free snacks and drinks all day in the lobby and also a free minibar in the room which although did not have alcohol it was excellent after a long day walking around Paris.breakfast had everything from hot food to pastries, fruits, yogurts and juices. Room was very clean and tidy although small. 10 minutes walk to moulin rouge area and 10 minutes the opposite way will take you to the shops.metro on your doorstep for further away on the 6 line. A security is good as reception have to let you in the door. Great stay .I would recommend to anyone . Collapse

Wanted a reasonably priced hotel in a fairly central location for the weekend, and this fitted the bill perfectly! Located in a pleasant safe quarter between Pigalle and Opéra, almost across the road from the nearest Metro station Saint Georges, it is about 10/15 mins by train/car or a half hour walk from the centre of the city. Rooms are small but clean and bright with safes, a free mini-bar (with soft drinks only), free wi-fi and flatscreen TV. Great varied breakfast selection, and they also have free refreshments and snacks for all guests throughout the afternoon & evening from 2pm which is a really useful perk. Staff were friendly & helpful throughout. Definitely somewhere you'd expect to pay £100+ considering the standard of hotel and the location, so I would recommend to anyone and would certainly consider again when I next visit. Collapse

It was my first time to Paris alone and I was staying at this hotel for a full week. Firstly mini bar items are free. No liquor in the mini bar and that's good. As you enter the hotel it has to be opened by the front desk which is good and important due to security so meaning no Non-registered guests are allowed to enter. The room is accordingly to the photo as shown in their website. Only 1 incident in the initial stay whereby when I returned back to my room I found it was not locked. It was ajar and I quickly raised it to front desk. Front desk doesn't understand what I was trying to explain to them but they did send someone over to my room. I explained again that the door since I stayed can never locked when it closed by itself. Someone had to pull it to lock up. Subsequent nights the door was locked properly. Breakfast was included in my stay and it was at the basement. It was a nice cool place but you can hear faint train sound. That's fine. Daily breakfast was the same which I'm fine with it. No complain as I can't eat everything daily. In the afternoon at the small lounge area there were some pastries and drinks which are nice but I didn't get to try them. I would like to suggest that on and off someone should take a look and do a quick clean up as some guests didn't care and left food around or not cut nicely or properly so that next guest has a chance to eat the cakes or pastries. A little hygiene is good along the way. Maybe a sign to guests to tell them about it. The surrounding has a school or day care in front of the hotel so be prepared for children playing sound which I had no problem with it. Surrounding is quiet and I'm fine with this. It has 2 Bristols nearby with their own nice food. I need to find the Bristol that I frequented. It's at the round-about near the exit of St George subway. One night I asked for a takeaway food. It does not have that but cos I frequented this place for dinner the waiter is nice to ask me to bring the plate, fork and spoon back next day which I did. So they still give customer another option. They did ask me where I stay though. That's fine. I didn't know there was a theatre near the exit of St George till the last night of my stay. Anywhere I don't think I missed out much. One important thing is this hotel is 10-15 mins walking distance to Moulin Rouge. I was initially a bit fearful of walking back after the show at past 11 pm but as I walked it was fine and safe but of course you still have to be on the look out for strangers following you back.
