First off I need to thank Oliver and the rest of the guest relations team. They emailed me before our arrival on the things we like and our plans. I informed them, it was my sons 8th birthday. When we walked into our beautiful hastings suite, there was a beautiful cake in the shape of an 8. We were blown away by that. The room was magnificent. The decor was a modern but still traditional. The concierge team was invaluable. Every restaurant suggestion was spot in. We really could have not asked for better service and hotel. Anything we needed they provided. We would definitely go back in heart beat! The location was fantastic as well. It was near everything. Thank you to everyone at the Park Lane Marriott for making our vacation so memorable. Collapse

We stayed in room 244, an Executive Room with a beautiful view of Hyde Park for seven nights. All on points. Upon arriving we were greeted with refreshments while we waited for check in. David Little Garcia was very kind and welcoming, explaining the property, area and things to do on our vacation. Because of our Executive Platinum status and their availability, we were granted an upgrade from a Deluxe room to an Executive room. The rooms have been recently updated and are stunning. Done in beautiful soft grey and white tones with some plum made for a very relaxing atmosphere. The bathroom was over the top and done in white and grey marble with a warm bidet. I personally appreciated the shelf over the toilet which allowed extra space for my things. I also loved the towel warmer on the wall. Plush robes and cozy slippers were also in the room. At the desk was an outlet for American appliances which was a big help and allowed us to use our converter for additional items. There is a Nespresso coffee maker in the room along with an electric kettle for tea. During turn down service, they restock the room with towels, coffee, tea and biscuits. The lounge was very comfortable and generous. For breakfast they have soft scrambled eggs, sauteed mushrooms, sausage links, bacon, pastries, fruit, cereal, granola, yogurt and more. They have afternoon delights but we never were at the hotel during those hours. They change up the options for dinner but generally had cheese, bread, a salad option, rice and a main dish. They always had a fish or vegetarian option. We love the free flowing wine and beer bar which is a real treat compared to lounges in the US. Outside of the meal hours they always have snack options, a wide variety of waters, juices, tea and coffee. We ordered room service three times and all of the dishes were delicious and were delivered quickly. Everyone we came in contact with at the hotel were extremely helpful. We can't say enough good things about the concierges. They helped with everything including booking tours, car service, helping us figure out the best way to get around the city depending on what we were going to do that day, and restaurant recommendations. To make things even easier, they allowed us to bill everything to the room and handled all of the transactions. They anticipated our every need and made us feel like we were the only guests. The pool in the basement was a very relaxing way to end the day. While we didn't use the gym, it looked well equipped. There is also a steam room. If you are looking for a big busy, run of the mill Marriott this isn't for you. If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful boutique hotel where the staff treats you like you are the only guest, then treat yourself and stay here. You won't regret it. Collapse

Love this hotel, picked it for location, it was our first time staying here. From the moment we were greeted at the door to the great Check in to the jewel box of a room,we were enchanted. We were there for the big snow storm and can’t imagine a better place to be stuck. The concierge lounge was warm, Cosy and had the most delicious food available non-stop. We hope to stay here again! My friends and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon here: I consider it one of the best Afternoon Teas I've enjoyed (and there have been a few!). The staff were all very accommodating and kind, and the manager, Attilio, made sure to check in on all his customers throughout the afternoon. There was no pressure to leave- we are there for hours and never felt rushed! The seats were big and comfortable and there is space between tables, so you felt able to interact with your table without disrupting others. I enjoyed the view of Marble Arch, and particularly that although there was plenty of London traffic, none of the noise of it reached us to disrupt our experience. It's also right next to Marble Arch station and beside a wonderful shopping street, so there is a lot to see and do before and after. The tea was unlimited, and it never felt uncomfortable to ask for more. I particularly enjoyed the confit chicken sandwich on beetroot bread- delicious! We ended the afternoon being spoiled with leftover Valentine's bubbly in a sweet package. An afternoon fit for a princess! Thank you very much- my friends and I will certainly be back! Collapse
