Stayed here for 2 nights on a short family trip to London. Really liked the hotel. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean, beds were large and comfortable. Tea/coffee/bottled water etc in room were much appreciated after a long journey. Bathroom had a nice selection of toiletries and a great shower. The room was nice and quiet too (2nd floor). Staff in hotel were so helpful and friendly. Concierge services were great, as they arranged a fixed price car to pick us up at the train station on our arrival. They also helped with good advice on taxi fares etc. Staff in the restaurant were efficient and smiley and so welcoming. We had breakfast there on both mornings and it was absolutely tremendous. Good selection of hot food, continental too and a fresh omelettes and waffles made to order. Bread and pastries, all sorts of cereal and fresh fruit. It really set us up for the day and is one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel. We didn't eat there in the evening, but the menu looked nice. We would probably have eaten there if we'd been staying longer. Location of the hotel was really handy for tube station, and also for the open top bus tour (big bus) stop, which was only a 6 or 7 minute walk away. I'd definitely return to this hotel on any future London visit. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable! Collapse

Stayed Sept '17 alone for a day-course. Lovely hotel, pretty modern with a traditional hotel-y feel. Big shoutout to the bald concierge man, he's knowledgable and was very welcoming (the kinda welcome a 5-hour journey needs). Check-in strangely took longer than at most hotels, and the check in guy insisted on taking a £50 deposit out of my account, just in case I needed to use it 'for dinner'. Good luck in getting an extra £50 from a student who could barely afford the room for the night! The room was clean, fresh and clearly well maintained. It consisted of 2 chairs, a queen bed, a desk, an enormous TV and a wardrobe, fitted with iron/board and hairdryer. The room also had a "chiller", a non-noisy fridge basically. Good for that Guinness, eh. Earl's Court tube is a 6-8 minute walk away, though is busier than Gloucester Road, a 7-9 minute walk away. If fancy food doesn't whet your appetite (or your bank balance!), there's a McDonald's near Earl's Court, as well as a Nando's and a CoOp also. Sainsbury's is across the road from the hotel, and is surprisingly enormous! Breakfast is included, and is truly spectacular. As a breakfast cook at a hotel myself, the team are impressive to put on a show of juice drinks, hot buffet, wheat products and fruit. It's really tasty too, I was impressed. Finally, I stayed in the conference room for a few hours after my stay. Obviously I was part of a party. But the conference rooms were exquisite also, with freshly made cookies and staff on hand, as well as hot and cold drinks, I couldn't fault it to be honest. I would recommend, though the big positives were location, food and cleanliness. Some staff seemed peed-off whenever I asked for anything, which was the main negative. Overall, good stay. Even if it was a small fortune, one night was a good night! Collapse

We came to this hotel as part of a Delta Vacation package, and were so glad we did! We had access to the Club lounge, and enjoyed breakfast and heavy hors d'oeuvres and wine and beer at the dinner hour there. The hotel staff particularly were extremely helpful and accommodating. The room also was very nice. Location is excellent for touring the city, and we would happily return! Collapse

We were only in London for 4 days. I'm so glad we chose to stay at the London Marriott Hotel Kensington. The tour buses pick-up and bring you back to the hotel. Location is perfect for sight-seeing; easy access to all tourist attractions; cab fare was very reasonable to/from this location. Although hotel is near the underground we found the taxis to be so inexpensive and "lazy" way to get around. Free Breakfast was amazing! As a Gold Elite Member; Lounge access was incredible! All staff members at this hotel was very friendly, accommodating, and made us feel so welcomed. Overall, we had an excellent stay at London Marriott Hotel Kensington!! Collapse
