We had a lovely 2 bed room for ten days. They gave us a mini-fridge to help store cold drinks and snacks. The concierge helped us get tickets to the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studio tour even though it was sold out. The staff helped us get accumulated to nuances being in a foreign country. The square -- just outside the hotel -- was fabulous! They have Summer in the Square with music, giant board games (Chess, Connect Four, etc), food, deck chairs to use, a Pimm's stand and whole bunch more. The hotel is literally one maybe two blocks from Selfridge's which has a wonderful food court for quick eats. There's a pub right next door and your within walking distance to quite a few attractions. Definitely a return stay in our future! Collapse

This was the start of a long trip - our family arrived early and our room was not yet ready - but Salvatore did not let that stop him. He allowed us to use a room to refresh ourselves as we waited for our rooms - very much appreciated. From the front desk staff to Emma in the club dining area everyone was warm welcoming and friendly - there are lots of good hotel buildings but service makes this one special. Collapse

We are a well travelled family and it was me and my husband's 25th wedding anniversary He wanted to do something very special for me… and wow did he accomplish that task! Absolutely the best vacation of my life. We had such an amazing time during our stay in this lovely hotel! Upon arrival at the hotel there is staff outside the front door to greet you and help you inside. Then you walk into a beautiful lobby with white and black chequerboard what appears to be marble flooring appointed with with gorgeous furnishings. Since it was Christmas time they had. Sandias and Christmas decorations everywhere! Beautiful white twinkling lights lovely red. Sally is a gorgeous Christmas tree and a fresh greenery to top it off. Seriously just a lovely lovely hotel to stay out for the holidays! There was even a complimentary bottle of champagne, two gorgeous crystal glasses and chocolate's left by the staff in our room when we arrived. Simply charming and very unexpected! The service at the door and front desk check in was wonderful. The staff was so gracious and helpful at every moment of our stay. I am in a wheelchair so I was a bit worried even though this was a beautiful hotel what my "handicap accessible room" would really look like… if you didn't know often these rooms are tucked away at the bottom of some stairs, rarely used or dusted and often poorly decorated..... or last to be renovated. I was again overwhelmed by the beauty of this hotel!! Our hotel room was gorgeous! it was large by American standards! The decorations were so beautiful we had two large windows one on either side of the television with cherry furniture gorgeous bed and beautiful bedding. A large desk with a mirror over it which I loved so that I could sit down and put my make-up on after all I still am a young woman even though I can't walk. The bathroom was filled with marble. It was beautifully appointed and lit as well as spacious with a large tub and shower. Our view was gorgeous also we looked over the park across the street. The windows opened to little little fresh air in when coming in hot from all of our activities ... including the Christmas market in the park across the street. It was so large and beautiful it truly felt like a small apartment in the centre of London. I enjoyed having my hair trimmed or just washed and styled for our theatre on nights out in the salon. The staff in the salon was also amazing! I just don't think I can say enough good things about this hotel!! Yes it's a bit of a splurge but we now consider this "our hotel" and plan to stay in it every time were in London!! Sometimes the service can make a small hotel wonderful… This time the service made a beautiful hotel even better!! The staff was able to box and post souvenirs that I had purchased that would not fit in our suitcases back to the states for us!! Go ahead make that reservation you'll never forget it!! Collapse
