Where does one start. Booked an executive room to have access to executive lounge....told at check-in, executive lounge closed - being reburished - no mention on website and no notification email to notify us, as compensation we were offered 1 free drink, had to argue to get a few free drinks (as would of been unlimited if the executive lounge was open - which we'd paid for!). Don’t eat here if you're coeliac. Made staff aware when ordered food. dinner turns up with NON Gluten Free fries! Waiter forgot to tell kitchen despite lengthy conversation with them. Manager didn't seem to care, about our allergies. Ended up with just a steak (overcooked and tough) as 1 course and 10mins later some potato. Dessert - ice cream the only choice, everything else has gluten. For a supposedly 4* hotel - POOR POOR POOR. Attitude of staff..... Blaise, couldn't give a dam. Am an Elite Marriott Member, never have I felt so unwelcome or cared about as a customer. Will NOT stay here again. Collapse

We booked 2 nights here online and when we checked in, they upgraded our room to the executive room which was great. We also had our breakfast included because of Reno's being done on executive lounge and WiFi was free. Went to Italian restaurant in the hotel and food was excellent. I would stay here again. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and approachable. I would come back. Collapse

One of the WORST experiences in the hotel! All the staff is rude and unprofessional . I agree with all the previous comments mentioning the law quality of food and service. Especially service. After a hard working day , I got very rude attitude at this hotel! Comparing to all the other cities, same Marriott hotel - never had this bad feeling of how the staff do their job and make you feel while your stay . VERY BAD and I will change next time this hotel as there are many others just nearby, Radisson, Holiday Inn, Crowny plaza etc. PEOPLE, after reading all these comments, where negative is much more then positive; after having dealed with it myself, I really encourage you NOT to choose Marriott hotel at London Heathrow! THE WORST EXPIRIENCE EVER! The only 5 I could give to this hotel is in their RUDENESS!!! For Mr. Mandeep I would really recommend to choose your employee wisely and teach properly instead of apologizing to each negative comment. I will not contact you personally for future stay as there will not be any. Until maybe the staff and management team will be changed. I stayed overnight at the end of May and I have to say in all the years of travelling I have never come across such a rude member of staff. I checked in mid afternoon and the male receptionist was totally disinterested and I am sure that good service was not in his vocabulary. My room was pre-paid by my company and the gentleman asked me for a credit card, I informed him that my room should be pre-paid he then informed me he wanted £100 deposit (I am not sure why as the room was paid and the room did not have mini bar. I again told him I did not have a credit card and gave him my debit card, he then ridiculed me and made a curt comment on how could I travel without a credit card in front of other guests. There was no direction to the lifts or have a nice stay. The room itself was nice, the bed very comfortable but the air conditioning was very poor. The bathroom was good and in general the room was very clean. I stay at Heathrow regularly but unfortunately after the embarrassment of the check in on this occasion I will ask my Travel Management Company to suggest another hotel for upcoming stays and avoid this particular Marriott Collapse
