The Loews Royal Pacific resort was absolutely amazing, hands down what you expect of a top-class resort. As we turned in to the resort area we were already super excited because you can see the Universal Studios I live of Adventure theme park and hear the sounds in the parking lot. Checking in was also a great experience as everybody was super welcoming and helpful and there's plenty of Staff available to assist you if needed. I wish I remembered her name but the woman who helped us at the check-in counter hooked us up by getting us an early check-in and answer all our questions. The room itself was beautiful and our view of the International Drive area was so cool especially at night. We also walked around the resort area a few times and definitely took advantage of the beautiful Park area they have on the ground level. It was too cold so we couldn't take advantage of the pool but that definitely looks like it would have been so much fun especially with the bar button right up to the pool Edge. The shops and restaurants were also a plus to the experience especially if you forgot to get something at the park and they had it there, the prices were the same which was perfect! Overall what else can I say I was perfect. Collapse

Stayed 6 nights for a family spring break trip to Universal and Disney. Rooms were good, but just a bit larger would have been nice. There was a chair and small end table that were crammed in between the outside wall and one of the beds. It made it tough to get out on that side of the bed. I was very impressed by how quiet the room and property were. There was a good grab and go breakfast spot that made it easy to get to the parks early. The two best features of this property to me were the location and the free express passes. We walked to the Universal parks each day and had great dining options (especially liked Vivo, Cowfish, and Chocolate Emporium, disappointed by Emeril’s) close by in City Walk. The express passes were a huge benefit during the busy spring break period. Very happy overall with our choice of Royal Pacific. Collapse

This is an excellent resort with immaculate grounds and public areas, there is a large modern, lobby and front desk area. Our double queen room was nice, not overly large but modern, up to date with comfortable beds and lots of storage space. The bathroom was good size with a large shower area. There are several USB ports to keep mobile devices charged. This is the closest resort to the Universal parks and City Walk. There is a nice walking path the leads to City Walk, it's about a 5 to 10 minutes easy walk. There is also a water taxi going between the hotel and City Walk. Parking at the hotel is $22 for self parking and 29 for Valet. You can park there till midnight on the day of check out. The best advantage of staying at Royal Pacific other than the proximity to the park is the express pass. One of 3 Universal resorts that You get a free express pass during your stay which is good through the end of the day you check out. This is a big deal, this pass costs up to $90 per person to purchase. The express pass (fast pass) gets you on all the rides at both parks all day as much as you want. You get right on the rides without waiting in the normal lines. Very comfortable well maintained resort with friendly helpful staff. The rates can bee steep but the addition of the "free express pass" and proximity to the parks makes it a little better. Would most definately stay here again on a future trip To Universal Studios. This is our family's 3rd visit to the Royal Pacific and it never disappoints. From the moment we arrived everything was first class. Our Uber pulled up and 3 smiling and friendly staff removed our bags in the blink of an eye. Next stop the front desk and the effervescent Rebecca who checked us in and had some great recommendations of things to do and places to eat. A small glitch was handled quickly and professionally, with an ever-present smile. Off to our room which was clean and well appointed. We kept commenting to each other that each staff member we interacted with seemed friendly than the one before. This was certainly the case in the Club Lounge where the staff bent over backwards to make our time there enjoyable. My daughter celebrated a birthday during our stay and when Samuel overheard my wife and I discussing it he said he would make arrangements to have some birthday balloons at the table of our choosing for the next morning. The next morning found Joanna M. decorating a table with a birthday tablecloth, balloons, glitter and a card. What a great surprise! A big thank you to all of the club lounge staff with special mention to Lindsay, Andy, Shaun, Austin, Elida,, Colby and Pretima who went above and beyond. But honestly, all the staff were fantastic. There was a small problem with a credit card charge and Bryson at the front desk assured us he would take care of it and with the speed and professionalism that we had become accustomed, he did. The Royal Pacific is just a short walk, or boat ride, from Islands of Adventure, Studios and CityWalk. We are already looking forward to coming back! Collapse
