We have just returned from our 2 week stay at the Royal Pacific. From the moment we pulled up to the time we left it was amazing. All the staff at this hotel are lovely and made our stay even better, especially our regular lady who serviced our room, Marie Baptist, (i'm sure thats her name) who went above and beyond for us. We were there during huricane Irma and stayed inside the hotel for two days but again they made sure we had everything we needed and we always felt safe. Fast passes were a bonus and boat ride to parks was great. I can't say enough about this hotel and we will definitely be going back. Thank you all for making our holiday even more magical xx Collapse

Please please please don't stay here especially if you have a young family. My in laws booked this hotel for 6 adults and a 7 month old baby(3 rooms) with the request that one of the rooms was adjoining/interconnecting (requested months ago at the time of booking) to make it easier when the baby was sleeping we could go into the adjoining room and leave the door ajar with the monitor on. The adjoining room was also confirmed twice when 4 of the adults checked in at 9am and also when we checked in with the baby at midday (too early to actually check the rooms). When we finally went to our rooms in the late afternoon/early evening to settle the baby for bed we found that none of the rooms were next to each other - one was opposite and one was the next room but one. They had also put a fold up single bed in the room for the baby to sleep on despite assuring us there would be a cot for him. The lady at reception was completely unhelpful and stated there was nothing they could do as they were fully booked and adjoining rooms were first come first serve (despite us checking in really early). We couldn't stay in the hotel as it was so inappropriate for our baby and they refused to offer us a refund or help us out in any way (the Loews group owns 2 other hotels nearby) so at 7.30pm we had to drive 30mins with an unhappy, tired baby to our Disney hotel we'd stayed at the rest of our stay in Orlando. Absolutely disgusted with the service and treatment we have received. I would not recommend this chain of hotels to anyone. Collapse

We arrived at Loews Pacific Royal for an over night stay so we could enjoy universal studios. Our party of 7 contained my 7 month old son (I know it's crazy travelling with someone that little) so we had at booking requested adjoining rooms and a cot. We confirmed when we checked in that we had adjoining rooms, we confirmed again when the rooms were ready that we had adjoining rooms, each time told they were. We went up to the rooms and found that adjoining means somewhere in the same hotel to Loews. We thought this must be a simple mistake so we went down to the check in desk to speak to someone. The staff explained that they were full and adjoining rooms were first come first serve despite them telling us twice we had been given this. When asked how they were going to fix it we were told they weren't and it wasn't there problem. Long story short I had to take my 7 month old baby to another hotel. For those interested were at Disney port Orleans where the staff have been incredible with no problem too big or small, unlike Loews who didn't care and didn't care with one hell of an attitude Collapse

We were 3 adults & 2 children 5 & 7 years & booked a family room for one night. The rate also included the fast pass to all the rides which worked out cheaper than simply paying for the fast pass upgrade. We had requested a rollaway bed for my grandson which was not in the room although we were assured it would be on checking in. However, we rang housekeeping & one did eventually turn up. We found the staff very friendly & polite & the hotel was Polynesian themed. Very convenient having waterbus service to & from Universal City Walk. Collapse

It's good ok I loved the fact that it was right where the park was located but I didn't like the fact the my son was swimming with his dad and I was right in front of the and my son loves to jump up and down and he was were the stairs were so from his hips and up were out of the water in other words if he was just standing more than half of his body was out of the water but can you believe they have a rule that if a kid jumps up and down 10 times they consider that drowning and the lifeguard looked so dumb because he blew his whistle and jump into the water by the stars where everyone was including his dad and me right in front because the guard said if kids jump up and down 10 times it's considered drowning everyone was laughing because it was so ridiculous when the lifeguard which was a young kid himself jumped in the water only went up to his knees so that was a little way to the extreme in my opinion but everyone did have a great laugh even my son which is 8 and does know how to swim great was like I'm fine I'm just playing with my dad I did not like that though because I felt like the lifeguard just wanted to put on a show and I didn't like how hard my bed felt I would wake up in the morning with such a stiff back because I felt like I was sleeping on the floor. Oh and the morning of check out we were eating breakfast with characters which I did live because it was so cute but before going to eat we got permission to extend our stay for one hour to enjoy eating with all the characters and the front desk did say that was ok and we wouldn't get locked out of our hotel room but we did and we had to go back to the front desk to find out why we were locked out and they said they would send security up to our room to open the door for us well we wait about 40min until finally security arrived. Little things like that really didn't make me happy because that hotel is way to expensive to be dealing with any kinds of issues/inconveniences like that. Collapse
