After waiting in the "Express" Check-in line for 40 minutes, we were denied the room we reserved, unapologetically and with no reason given. They downgraded us from a King suite to two full size beds overlooking the parking structure, right outside the elevators, and directly facing one of the cars of the stupid overpriced "high roller" ferris wheel, basically blocking the view of anything other than ferris wheel people. Outside of that, the food was the absolute pits-not a single vegan option on any of the restaurant menus (however, I highly recommend breakfast at The Wynn's Terrace Cafe and dinner at Nacho Daddy's, especially if you are vegan but even if you are not--they were both fantastic!). The first day (second morning), room service skipped us. The fourth day our room keys randomly stopped working, causing another 30-minute wait in the express check-in line to get help (and only after I actually leaned over the counter and said "Hey! Can I get help, someone?" Navigating through their lobby was an effort in frustration every time, with narrow hallways and confusing entranceways. The hotel is broken into three meaningless "districts", one to which you are assigned, giving a distinct prison feeling to your stay. Classy. The wi-fi was the most frustrating part, though. It is "free up to 2 devices", so my cell and my girlfriend's cell but no laptop or tablet, etc. To schedule an Uber, you have to go to the basement bus pick-up area where there is zero reception and no wi-fi, so you have to schedule your ride from the Harrah's entrance and run like hell to the basement to not miss your pick up time. Even with the "free" option, I must have had to sign back in to the hotel wi-fi a dozen times per day and half the time it defaulted me to the pay option on the same device ($14.99 per day), and sure enough, we were charged for wi-fi. I will say, when the room service did show up, they did a good job, but I would recommend nearly any other hotel on the strip over this place. The Wynn was especially nice, free wi-fi everywhere, amazing food at all their restaurants, service people that actually learned our names (!) and we weren't even their guests. You can bet we will be next time, though! If you ask me, stay away from The Linq. Literally every other hotel we walked through seemed better in nearly every way. Collapse

After reading some reviews, we were a little worried, but to our surprise, everything was just fine. We were able to check in early with the help of an attendant at the kiosk, got the exact type of room we requested, and although the view was bad, the room was more than adequate. The refrigerator was a real plus, the room was clean, and housekeeping was superior. We experienced no noise, elevators were usually quick, and the center Strip location is perfect. The only problem encountered was when we were leaving for the airport, we had to wait on a taxi and the taxi stand was unattended. Will definitely be returning here! Collapse

The room was fine. The machines were bad. Food was good. Even self parking was high priced I do not recall paying for self parking at Harrah's, but the Linq must be higher scale than Harrah's though I saw nothing better.

You can't beat the location of this hotel! Right across from Caesars, it is in the middle of everything! The rooms have been recently updated and were very comfortable. We checked in later at night and when we arrived they were out of king bed rooms. They upgraded us to a nicer double bed room on the 19th floor for the night and said we could call to switch out in the morning. This room seemed very nice and quiet so we decided to keep it for the remainder of our trip. We weren't looking for anything fancy but I was pleasantly surprised. The price point is similar to some of the older hotels that need updating so I was very happy with our stay. A few very minor suggestions include the following: -Better cleaning in the shower area. When first arriving there were several hairs on the wall of the shower. After our 2nd day they were gone so perhaps some of the cleaning crew is more thorough than others. -More consistency with the internet package. It is advertised as not free when you sign into the wifi, but the staff guarantees it will be removed from your bill when you leave. If you try to check out with the email they send you, the charge for the internet will still be there, but if you check out at the front desk it will be removed. Collapse

The elevators to the garage took forever, when they finally got there. The room took an hour to get ready even though I approximated my arrival time. Finally got to the room, where I thought the family would be on the same floor since they blocked off rooms for wedding guests. Finally the shower drain barely drained and 1 day out of 3 with hot water... Collapse
