Received a bottle of wine and a choice of Blueberry or Chocolate muffin on arrival. The hotel was clean, tidy, compact and comfortable. The hairdryer in the room did not work and when I asked to borrow one from reception they did not seem shocked so the hairdryer probably hasn't worked for a while. Upon arrival, I was asked for my card that I booked with. My card was then photocopied which I thought strange as I had a already prepaid and I was told that my card would be copied or why so I queried this. It was explained in case there were damages but normally when hotels preauthorise they let you know and they don't take all your card derails including your full security code, this was alarming to me and made me feel uneasy during the whole stay. On arrival we were greeted by a very polite receptionist who checked us in super quickly and handed us some complementary muffins. We were offered an upgrade for £10 as our room was in the basement and has no window we declined this as it was only for one night! We got to the room, this really wasn't the best and I regretted not taking the upgrade. The bathroom was lovely, really clean and modern. The bedroom however was very dusty and extremely hot as the radiator was on full, in summer, in a basement? Not sure on that one! We had a terrible night sleep, there is a very loud noise in the toilet every time you flush and noise from other bedrooms were very loud and that was a Sunday - I dread to think about Friday/Saturday nights! The location however on a positive is perfect. Minutes walk from the city centre and Deansgate! We walked to and from the Comedy Store which literally took 10 minutes! Overall, the staff are great, the rooms not so! Collapse

Stayed here for the 1 night for work and I've have never ever been this disgusted with a hotel before. I felt physically ill with the dirt and grime I witness in the room. It was just filthy all over. A thick layer of dust, grime and filth all over. I have included some pictures with the statue I found the room in. The toilet was filthy and reeked of urine. The bathroom wall had bits of green slime on it. The corners of the room were covered with a thick layer of dust. The pillow on the best was covered with hair and dust. The pillowcase was full of little black splatters. I have honestly never felt this uncomfortable in a hotel before. Unfortunately I will be recommending people to avoid this hotel. Collapse

Booked last minute. £90 for the night. On arrival the reception staff were brilliant, really helpful and friendly. We even got a bottle of wine and muffins complimentary. Lovely touch. We were offered an upgrade which we declined. We just wanted a clean room to get our heads down for the night after a gig. The room felt really dirty. The bathroom was filthy. Like really filthy. Black running on the inside of the toilet, dirty marks around the taps. The shower however was immaculate?? There was a noisy extractor in the bedroom, an electric dehumidifier and those bead ones on top of a wardrobe. When getting into bed, it's clear why.... the bed felt damp. It was late and we were shattered so we just put up. Through the night various occupants used their bathroom... the plumbing was ear splitting. And after a flush, it went on for minutes. It was terrible. When packing up in the morning we noticed dark damp marks on the walls. It really is a shame because reception staff on checking in and out were so brilliant, friendly and make you feel so welcome. Please up your cleaning standards, sort your plumbing and see to the damp!! This review is no reflection on the staff at Le Ville as they were the nicest reception staff I think I've ever encountered. Collapse

Can't really fault this place. For less than £50 we got a lovely clean room, shower was amazing, a bottle of wine and a couple of muffins. It's situated right slap bang in the centre of gay village which got a little mental outside as it was a bank holiday weekend and the Manchester Run had been on but couldn't expect anything else really. We were also told we didn't need to check out till 12 the next day which was another bonus. Just don't stop here if you want some sleep, you'll not get it unless you're deaf. Collapse
