The room was quite small and noise from other guests could be heard through walls banging of doors could be heard, hotel was clean. Wasn't in hotel much, just to sleep, as was out from early morning to quite late - one odd thing about the shower cubicle one side is red glass and see through so you have to close the curtain for privacy but we did move from that room as it was too hot and second room the shower faced the other side so problem solved. I found this hotel on a last-minute booking site and selected it for the price and location (walking distance to the coach terminal I was using). The price was great but I realise it was a special offer. Breakfast was not included but there was a patisserie just a few minutes walk and I had a delicious coffee and pastry for under 3 Euros. I had booked a single room, but was given a top floor room with a double bed, lovely en suite, and lovely views. It did not seem small to me at all, with a wardrobe, kettle with tea and coffee, hair dryer and plenty of thick towels. I also was warmly helped with opening a bottle of wine at night, as I did not have a cork screw. The icing on the cake for me, was the market on the street in front of the hotel! I guess I was lucky, as it is only there on Fridays and I think, Tuesdays. I would love to return. Collapse

I reserved their suite on their website: they had a good weekend rate and offered free breakfast. The room had nothing special about it and it was quite dark, but it worked out for us (my wife, my baby and myself) as it did have a few extra square meters and an extra bed. I had read some bad critics about the place, but it looked good on the web, and I was coming from a neighbouring hotel that couldn't accommodate an extension of our stay and recommended it. Then there was no elevator to get to the first floor and that wasn't mentioned in the web, but we figured out we could handle it. They later gave my wife a hard time for breastfeeding our kid in the lobby, but we still thought that maybe it was a cultural thing, or a narrow minded employee. Still, despite all the weird vibes, we could handle all of these things. In fact, we asked for an extension of our stay: Paris always asks you for more time, we had already had to change a hotel, and you know how hard that is when you have a little kid. And this is when it became clear that they were just dishonest. At first they offered me a higher rate than the one advertised in their web, so I showed them their webpage, which was offering a lower rate. They said they would match it, so I accepted, and then when I checked out the next morning they charged us EUR 26 for the two breakfasts (which were not great, either). Of course I complained, and they said that I should've made my reservation online to get this offer... and this was the same manager that I have showed the webpage the day before and said they would match the offer! I had a train to catch and my family waiting (and witnessing this disgusting scene), so I paid and left -but I am certainly not coming back. Collapse

The management treat guest like garbage, and the staff even worse! I worked for them for a month during night shift in July 2016 (5 years of experience in the industry working for big cie: Hilton, Marriott, Starwood), I have never seen a management staff that peculiar... On my first day, I was told there was no TV (and it started a month ago!). They were not offering compensation or even apologize...The front office manager was being really agressive (almost physical) toward a guest who was complaining for that issue during check-out. PLEASE BE AWARE that if you reserve to this hotel you might get a chance to be verbally abused at the worse or ignored at the best. I tought about leaving a comment for quite a time (I am not bitter person I've moved on for a better hotel) but I think it's fair sometimes to get the "background" opinion. Collapse

This hotel was absolutely dreadful. Upon arrival my mum and I noticed this 'hotel' was quite different than the pictures portrayed, to the point where the hotel uploaded a photo to Facebook that displayed scenery that wasn't even at the hotel. From the get go we had problems, our room was so small it was physically impossible to open 2 suitcases, our safe was out of reach (both of us are only 5ft so I kind of looked past this issue), we didn't get coffee cups or spoons, the bathroom itself wasn't very clean, part of the shower was broken and to top it all off our TV wouldn't work. There was only one staff member in the whole hotel at a time and I found most of them to be quite unapproachable. There was a girl who was nicer so I mentioned the TV issues to her, she said she didn't have much knowledge on TV's so she would leave a message for her colleague to contact us when he started (so around 9-9:30pm). We never heard from him and when we approached another staff member he simply replied "It's been broken for months, we can't do anything" I found this very abrupt and was annoyed that it was not communicated when we arrived. It got to a point where I contacted my travel agent who spoke to the hotel. The next morning a man from reception (he is the same man for the rest of this story) called my room to ask if I could come down to reception to speak about the room. Once at reception he explained that my travel agent had contacted him and explained how we felt about the size of the room, he offered us an upgrade but was rude about it. We took it and the new room was much nicer, although some of the issues still presented themselves and a new one arose, our water would now completely stop in the mornings, usually half way through a shower. The first time it happened I spoke to the receptionist who said they were doing works and they had to turn it off (we were not notified prior to the works) thankfully he was able to get it back on.. for that morning. For two mornings after it continued to stop throughout morning showers. 7 days in and we were getting quite fed up with the service we were provided, eventually my mum was returning home while I was staying a week longer therefore moving to a single room. She left at 9am and my check out was at 12pm. As I was just moving to another room I could come down a bit earlier to pick up a new key and move my things to the next room. When I went to change keys the receptionist asked me to pay a fee. I explained that I had paid everything up front and shouldn't have to pay anything else. A back and forth conversation began with me stating I was not paying for something I didn't understand and was not given any prior information on and he would respond with refusing to give me another room until I paid. The receptionist became even more rude telling me I wasn't thankful for the 'kindness he displayed' when upgrading our room, and when I tried to explain the other issues he would dismiss what I was saying and interrupt me. I felt as though he thought he could take advantage of me now that my mum wasn't there. This eventually lead to me contacting my travel agent and clearing up the situation, getting a refund and moving to a new hotel. This hotel while on a similar rating to Le Quartier Bercy square, is much friendlier, closer to the city all the facilities actually work and only half the price! Collapse

Stayed for 4 nights. Breakfast was very good and in a pretty room. People were very nice, from the front man to the cleaning ladies. Room had free coffee and tea every day and was very tidy. Near to a metro station.
