Nice hotel not far from the Tour Eiffel in the middle of the 16th arrondissement, nice place, great surroundings. The location remains quiet despite the short distance of the busy district of the Trocadero place. Compared to my first stay, this hotel has changed its brand joining now Starwood group coming from Radisson. Room was a little bit too small and we encountered some trouble like : AC out of use in this period but 24 degrees in the room Window frame stuck, impossibility to close the window Italian shower very design but water everywhere on the floor Despite all these « little » contradictions, we had a pleasant stay and Jordi (reception staff) was really friendly, helpful and very kind and met all our expectations! Once more, thanks a lot! Garage upon reservation (30eur fee but very convenient should you arrive by car) Metro station Victor Hugo. So, a nice place but a hotel asking some extra care from it’s new brand. Collapse

We stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary in Paris. We were arriving very early and I knew check in wasn't until 3pm. I notified the hotel ahead of time in case there was a chance we could check in early. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the front desk staff. They unfortunately didn't have a room ready. We were disappointed since we were exhausted from the red eye flight from NYC. My husband and I decided to see if we could pay for an upgrade. They had a room free and we were able to get it complimentary. The room was a deluxe room on the 6th floor (no views - but that's ok). I knew European rooms were tiny, but I wasn't expecting it to be so small. The room was also too dimly lit for our taste. We found it strange that the toilet was in a separate room from the shower. It wasn't even next to each other; it was across the room. The bathroom also didn't have much lighting, so showering at night was near impossible. We took one of the lamps and moved it to the bathroom so we could see. The space is also miniscule. We couldn't keep anything in the bathroom and had to use the desk space in the room for our toiletries. We did appreciate the Korres toiletries provided. There is 2 complimentary bottles of water provided each day and they also have a cell phone you can use throughout your stay. You can use it to make unlimited phone calls and to look up things even outside of the hotel. We didn't use it since we made arrangements ahead of time with our wireless carrier but it's great to know they have this for future stays. The only other complaint I had (other than the lighting) was the room was extremely warm at night. We let the front desk know and they tried to fix it, but it was still a little warm for our liking. What we loved was that the hotel was so close to many of the locations we were going to. It was a 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, a 10 minute walk to Trocadero Metro station (even though we didn't use the metro) and a 15 minute cab ride every where else. The staff was lovely and always friendly to us. The servers at the bar were more than happy to assists us. My husband loved the madelines sent to our room as a welcome and they tried to get him some more - although the chef only makes them Tuesday - Saturday :(. They also have umbrellas if you need them at the front. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying here again when in Paris. Collapse

Surprised my girlfriend with a trip to Paris and proposed to her, and we couldn't have asked to stay in a better hotel. From start to finish the staff were friendly, helpful and extremely attentive. We arrived earlier than anticipated (12pm), and as check-in wasn't until 3pm we expected a wait of a few hours. This wasn't the case. The delightful staff informed us our room was already ready and they checked us in quickly and helped transporting our luggage to our room. The rooms are a good size considering how cramped other hotels in Paris are, and ours had a small balcony. The rooms are very modern as was the bathroom, which was ideal. We stayed for two nights and left with a massive smile on our faces. All of the staff were extremely helpful in helping us, whether it be advising us on what metro stations and routes to use, to bringing us a corkscrew for a bottle of wine in the middle of the night! They made a lovely weekend in Paris even more perfect than I could have wished for. Came home with one very happy fiancée. I Will be booking this hotel again without doubt! Thanks guys! Our stay was OK but our room was small and so is the hotel... there's not much to do at the hotel e.g. a bar Some of the staff were friendly and helpful but others were not. One day we decided to get room service. We ordered continental breakfast and one poached egg each (on toast). When the breakfast came we were left with a bill of €66. I called downstairs to check as I knew our breakfast was meant to be included in our deal. The man I spoke to confirmed we had a limit of €20 each and I said oh well are the eggs included then as we didn't know it was only continental and if this is the case we'd like to send the eggs back. He assured us that it would be fine and to reconfirm I said "OK just to check we will not be charged extra at checkout and we can eat the eggs" to which he replied yes we will sort it out for you. The next day we checked out I spoke to a rude lady who told me that the eggs weren't included and I informed her I checked this already. This wouldn't have been an issue except they wanted to charge the extortionate amount of €8 per each tiny poached egg. I told her that she may want to call her colleague who I spoke to to verify that he said the eggs could be included and then two staff came over and said that the man I spoke to said nothing of the sort. She then waved her arms around very rudely implying that I was lying. I felt very embarrassed and really felt that they should have checked with each other. There was no tea or kettle in the room and we were charged €5 to request this. Also no iron... the room was very hot with no way to cool down other than to open the window on to the noisy streets. They also sent fruit to the room which was nice but my friend bit into an apple and discovered that it was completely gone off... the inside was all frothy and mouldy. The cleaner didn't take away our fruit the whole time we were there. Also didn't have a great sleep. Could hear construction workers at 5am and then was woken up at 8am by a fire alarm which was an error. This went off again an hour or so later. On the plus side it's in a good location but I probably wouldn't want to stay here again. Collapse
