Hi just a quick review to show my appreciation to the hotel staff at le meridian seyahi beach resort in the marina. In particular Rohit, made a special effort with our young family. ROHIT AND HIS TEAM WERE OUTSTANDING! Even down to the cleaners everybody was happy and greeted us with great warmth. I have travelled the world for many years, this hotel is one to visit,Very central to all attraction that we visited. Never have I been on holiday and the concierge remembered the children's names and interacted with them. I felt complete trust in the hotel. I actually genuinely want to return to this hotel the experience was exceptional. The front desk took note of my wife's date of birth on there own behalf without, mentions from us and planted a birthday card and cake in our room. Well there you go I'm a builder and I'm getting emotional just writing this go and experience this place for yourself!!!!!! Collapse

The hotel is very good, the rooms are very comfortable, the restaurants and the pools are excellent. The personnel is really nice and always tries to help. However, they had parties in the evening at the beach, just in front of the hotel, and even at 1am in the morning, one coud hear the screaming of the DJ on the beach, even with closed windows. I had to change the room to go to the city side, to have a chance to sleep, as the rooms are not sound proof. The manger was very kind, however, he could not (could not!) make the party reduce the noise level. Not impressed at all. Collapse

stayed for 2 nights, well-located hotel on the beach. Overall service was good, food good, the hotel had a platinum lounge offering complimentary refreshments most of the day. We were upgraded to a corner room with a balcony which was nice although a bit small compared to a suite. Had some minor issues with some staff which were highlighted and hopefully sorted. The Fish restaurant is great for food and the Santorini looking interiors. Jordan at the front desk was very helpful at all times ensuring that we were comfortable during our stay. Collapse

I posted a review after a bad start to my stay. The staff were brilliant and picked up on how unhappy I was. After meeting Eddie and the manager haresh they explained the situation with building work next door and I was moved to a room looking on the beach They went out of there way to make us feel at home in the hotel. We have since had a wonderful stay and look forward to the last 3 days. Thanks for making it a relaxing stay Collapse

Well from arrival to departure, we were looked after so well. We arrived 9am and was given a room straight away (normally 3pm check in) we were then told they were going to upgrade both rooms to sea view and also put a third bed in our boys room which already had a queen and double in. The rooms were spacious, lovely comfortable beds/pillows, coffee making facility include, mini bar not included but not to expensive compared to bar prices in Dubai. The bath/shower room was nice size, we did have a issue with pressure but within 5 mins of calling service they were up, cleaning the head and been great since. As usual plenty shampoo, shower gel, soap, make up wipes etc etc all free (loads and was nice smelling) I think the only thing I didn't see was slippers but I'm sure they would have had if I asked but I didn't need so didn't bother) Balcony was nice over looking swimming pool, beach etc, again cleaned daily. The cleaners were fantastic and so friendly. People say the bar/club to side of hotel (which is free for hotel clients) is really loud and disturbs you but we were fine on the 4th floor and in fairness I barely heard it unless I went on balcony. It was a very nice bar/club great atmosphere and showed all sports events. The half board can be used in all restaurants except Spanish but you do have: Italian, steak house, Chinese, Thai, buffet, French, outside restaurant which was great as next to swimming pool which was open till 10.30 with life guard on duty at all times. With halfboard buffet is included but all restaurants seemed to do a halfboard menu so no extras, they also done a la carter which we opted for on various occasions and you could spend upto 195dhm anything over on food would be charged to you but we only went over once by 45dhm and there's 5 of us. Food was good variety and standard everywhere. Drinks were on top of this and are expensive but compared to other hotels out here it felt cheap for soft drinks for the boys as most were 17 dhm rough £3.50 where in jumiraih we were paying £7-10 for a coke. Wine is rough 52 dhm (£11) a glass this seems the same wherever you go. Local bottled water 20 dhm (£4) or fancy water in smaller bottle 27 dhm (£5.50). The tour office was great, competing prices and well worth booking through, you can get some bits cheaper but as other people found out, they really missed out ie the desert safari, the company had its own seperate desert place so just 15 tables, sand duning on way was fantastic (not for people who suffer from car sickness) then camel ride, some sand skiing (actually do as a 1 minute laugh but that's it) then BBQ buffet was gorgeous, belly dancing, shisha, soft drinks, henna tattoos all included in price, excellent. The water sports had great selection in a very safe lagoon, knee & wake boarding, Skiing, doughnuts, banana, other inflatables, pedlos, paddle boards, canoes, boat trips etc. As 5 of us and very quiet this time of year we negotiated and we're more than happy. If I had to moan slightly it would be with the concierge but minor things, you ask them to do something one night for next morning then come down and no one knew anything about it. However that was day 1-3 then after we met one guy who was fantastic, organised all taxis on time no problem (we needed family taxi as 5 of us and these not to many around, some normal taxis took us sometimes) DO NOT USE UBER AS MINIMUM 30% more expensive than normal taxi. All in all I'd definitely comeback again and again, fantastic. One note change your money in Dubai far better rate and remember to NOT take what's on the exchange board, always ask for more at least .05 more. Collapse
