Arrived to this place with my boyfriend and friends, had to go to a different hotel to collect keys. The man was very rude and kept throwing our keys around the reception. We had to pay €100 and then had to make our own way to our actual hotel. When we got there it was up a cardiac hill as people call it. No we're near the centre, not near the beach, a ten minute walk is more like it. When arriving at my room it stunk of smoke, my boyfriend is a smoker and even he said it was bad, I'm pregnant so couldn't sleep there. Lucky my friend said we could say with them. Next day we went to head office who was nasty and shouting and pointing in our face he didn't care about the room and when I said I will complain all he's reply was is complain then, got a new room two days later to find blood all around room which looks like someone was murdered in it and a draw full of medication from a previous guest, they don't clean the room and if you was toilet roll go to the shop!! Never again would I stay there and never would I recommend it, I felt like I was in the Hotel where the inbetweeners stayed! Not good at all Collapse

we arrived at 02.30 in the night to find the place locked up and no way in. it was only by chance that a couple stopped in a taxi and we found out from them that reception was not open at all and keys had to be collected from another property. we had asked before travel re collecting keys (after seeing comments on here) but were assured it was all open. ALSO A £100 DEPOSIT was required. Apartment is functional / basic. Mattresses on beds need replacing. not even a piece of toilet paper in apartment. pool open but no furniture (beds etc.). pool bar not open. it is located up a very steep hill so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. you are also not allowed to park disability scooters in the property. No information given when collecting keys about safe tv or wifi found out it was £20 for TV £20 for Wi Fi for 6 days ( we did not bother) we went to the main office in Benidorm to find out what we had to do with keys etc. on leaving the man was not really interested just said he always gets moaned at about this and he always tells the booking companies re key collection. we saw many people arrive who also did not know about key collection or Deposit. the apartments we collected the keys from was much better Buenavista stay there rather than here. This place is the absolute pits, really abrupt rude staff who only care about Spanish guests. Youngsters smoking pot around the pool next to other guests children, rooms dirty in disrepair and the have a cheek to ask for a bond. Very noisy very basic pool is tiny and half of it is underneath the building so gets no sun, we will never ever stay here again Collapse

We arrived (two women) just before midnight, having been dropped off by the airport transfer coach. The apartments have two entrances, one with a reception desk visible from the street. Unfortunately when we arrived, no one was there, the place was in darkness and the gate locked. The paperwork stated to go to Beuna Vista apartments for key if no one was there to book us in. We obviously had not expected no one to be there at time of arrival and set off looking for the Beuna Vista apartments, there was an address beside the name but we had no way of knowing which direction to go or how far away it was. Worried, we headed off into the night dragging our luggage with us down the hill. Luckily, a local hotel kindly gave me a map which had the Beuna Vista apartments on it. Tired, we flagged down a cab, after walking a couple of hundred yards towards the location. I asked for the key only to be told that a €100 deposit would need to be provided in advance for it. I reluctantly handed over the cash for our apartment key. Taxi returned us to Las Torres at 1.30am approx. We managed to get into the top gate but reception locked. I set about walking around the property to see if there was any other way to ge in. Finally, I found stairs, unlit, and then a lift which seemed to be working. Cases has to be dragged down steps in the dark and then the lift took us to the floor of our apartment. 2am, exhausted, we got in to the apartment. The apartment was basic in general, dated but clean. The bath was rusty including the bathroom fitments. Lots of towels were available and an oil heater thankfully as it was freezing. Location is fine, not for from the beaten track once you get your bearings. The hill didn't bother us but might bother some people. Local supermarkets for essentials like loo roll, which we had to buy. On the day of departure, I expected the reception to be manned and my deposit for the key returned. WRONG! I had to go back to Beuna Vista, by taxi, with the key to be booked out. We obviously had to lock up the room early with our belongings in tow, as the key had to be returned to another hotel. We had to factor in getting to and from the Beuna Vista in time so we didn't miss our coach transfer which was another added piece of stress for us to deal with! LUCKILY we managed to flag down a cab. In summary AVOID, unless you like stress, a wild goose chase, feeling lost/unsafe/unsure and very disappointed with the lack of communication from the people who run the place. We met a couple from Manchester waiting for the coach who had experienced the same, disgusted and angry at their treatment also. A simple notice with contact details/instructions at least as common courtesy, something to assist would assist lodgers and travellers arriving late at night. Never again.. Collapse
Not as bad as some say

Yes we found out after trekking to Buena Vista Hotel that we had to go to rental agency on beach front for key so was tired hot & annoyed dragging luggage around etc. Yes pool small. Apartments basic but were clean. It was a cheap holiday & we enjoyed it. As long as you have somewhere comfortable to sleep & shower etc that's all you need. Thinking of staying there again in May Collapse
