My sister and I enjoyed a lovely 10 day (11 night) break, on a half board basis, taking in New Year's Eve. We were very happy with Las Piramides. It's well positioned and very clean and has a lovely spacious entrance lobby with lots of comfortable couches for guests who want to use the free WiFi or just relax. Our room was good - 503 with a partial sea view -we would have appreciated a couple of comfortable armchairs as the two chairs in the room were not particularly comfortable, but that's a very minor issue. The food was tasty with plenty of healthy options and variety. The staff were charming, helpful, efficient and very hard working. I have read some reviews that are not very complimentary, but I feel they are rather harsh. Our experience was a good one and I am happy to recommend Las Piramides. Collapse

Just returned from my visit in room 312 with my partner, arrived Sunday 08th Jan and departed on Sunday 15th Jan. The hotel reception area is decorated lovely, nice atmosphere. Check in was quick and efficient, arrived early prepared to wait at the bar for our room but it was all ready. Staff member on reception was exceptionally helpful and lovely. Our room was ok, pretty basic if I'm honest. Only had 1 plug socket to use which was very poor - other 2 were occupied and were actually loose and dangerous. Made staff aware on our departure as didn't really affect our stay but other visitors may get more annoyed at this. Beds were lovely, as were the pillows. Room came with a minibar (fridge) which was good for storing snacks and drinks. Breakfast was average, good variation but the sausages were small hotdog sausages(?!) couldn't understand why, weren't very nice. Dinner was great, good quality and variation. Drinks are NOT included in evening meal, so be warned. This wasn't to much of an issue for us though as we didn't mind paying. Staff members were polite, helpful and kind. Maid service was slacking though, our rooms floor wasn't cleaned once during our stay. We did this ourselves as when we got back late it was to late to call anyone back up. Didn't try the outdoor swimming pool as was far to cold (due to it being winter, not the fault of the hotel) but it looked incredible. I did however try the small indoor pool which was great!! Used the luggage room on departure as check out was 12:00 and our flight was 21:10 hours. Was free too. Safety deposit box is there on request, its 3 euros per day and 10 euros deposit which you get back on departure when you give the key back. Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Las Piramides. We had a great stay in this hotel thanks to the friendly and attentive staff . We thought the half board option was great with tasty dishes that were very varied. Happy hour in the bar was a must particularly the high quality cocktails. Take no notice of the bad reviews which are very unfair to the hotel. We would definitely book this hotel again. Once again thanks to all the staff who work tirelessly to make you feel welcome and valued. Collapse

great hotel very clean and central, one thing I did not like was the fact that the management did not tell people that where very loud and abusive at times to tone it down also there were a group of family that came into restaurant in mornings in their pajamas and their children also in bare feet, they went behind counters of bar and restaurant and could be seen clearly helping themselves to cartons of milk, bottles of cava etc they also took trays of food outside restaurant to their rooms and still no management said a word to this large group, they shouted and roared at one another in reception area and still nobody asked them to take it outside. Apart from this behaviour in hotel our stay was nice and surrounding restaurants and bars lovely. thank you Collapse

Sitting on the veranda of room 810 on Christmas eve with the Mediterranean on the left, blue skies above, the temperature like mid summer back home and high mountains to the right it became apparent that happy days were on their way. So with a comfortable room, efficient non obtrusive room service, helpful, friendly reception staff and very important for our age group, a nice safe location a mere two minutes from the beach, a great holiday was in progress. The extensive open plan lobby and bar lends itself to relaxation and is a great place for people watching, which turned out to be quite entertaining. Dining is fine and quite good if used thoughtfully. The happy hour in Bar Orange at 1730 hrs could be chaotic but for the professionalism, politeness and dedication of Berta and Elisa, it is indeed a place of great craic before going in for dinner at night and a wonderful opportunity to intermingled with fellow guests from far away exotic places. Staff and management made a great effort for the Christmas gala dinner which was most enjoyable with a reception on the way in of Fino and tasty tapas, just one of the highlights of a great night. It is somewhat difficult to understand the expectation level of the many critical reviews of this hotel as the quality price ratio is quite exceptional. With an extensive renovation programme in progress it is a near certainty that a return visit for us is on the cards. It seems that the weather here on the mainland was as good as that down in the Canaries during our stay, interesting indeed. Collapse
