Our hotel was excellent. There were so many activities throughout the day, a bar that ran late enough to have snacks throughout the day and sunbeds and unbrellas to rent too. Only negative I had with the place was a lack of sunbeds, I think it was just too busy but there were still quite a few people bathing on the floor on towels. Costa Adeje is a family friendly place, we went as mates and went out in Plays de las Americas every night but I think it works for any type of holiday as there are activities right next door, or just a few euros in a taxi and your there :) Collapse

Stayed here 12/9/17-19/9/17 I will start with positives. 1. Staff are great very friendly and will do anything they can to help you. I asked to be located near to a friend which they did the best for me. 2. Our room Calle O 05 was good basic but clean and not to far from the pool. 3. Plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. 4.the self serve drinks was ok small plastic cups but just ok. You could buy drinks in bigger cups but that isn’t included in the all inc. And that is where the positives end unfortunately. Restaurant meals. Food choice was very poor unless you liked chewy meat dishes and rock hard chips. The choices were virtually the same day in day out or with a slight twist. Cooked breakfast was awful all rubbery. The lunches were the same as the evening meals poor! The pool looked a mess, big black spots where the paint had obviously come off and the water it’s self was salt water. Luckily our room was quite well placed, some of the rooms you had a huge walk to get to the pool/dining hall or up to reception, and that hill from the pool to reception is horrendous. There is no on site security so when people are coming back from a night out shouting and messing about it walking down the alleys it wakes you up. People shouting from one room to the next one which was like ten doors away. Then people going swimming drunk then shouting as they come back past your rooms. This kept me awake most nights. The people up stairs partying until 5am slamming doors walking around on stone floors with high heels on. I asked reception about security to be told there is none available. Please don’t take this as me being an old grump it’s far from it. People should enjoy their hold but should still also respect others with young children who are rudely awoken by louts. If there was onsite security walking these alleys this could be avoided. Did I mention the hill :) And to get from the hotel down to the sea front was also quite a trek. I heard about a free bus but never saw one when we all went out. It takes 20 minutes from the hotel to reach any civilisation. And that’s down a huge hill crossing several busy roads. And forget walking back up. Get a taxi €4 it’ll save you hours. Unfortunately I could keep going on about the negatives but I will leave it here. To summarise. Rooms are ok staff are great and that’s really where it ends. I know it doesn’t portray its self as a 5 star resort but I’d be seriously struggling to offer it a 1 Star. A holiday is what you make of it and luckily I was with good friends who made it good. Thanks for reading. I need to end now as my battery is going to die. Ps hotel manager if you are reading this please sort the noise out late at night it’s really not acceptable Thanks Lee Goggins Collapse

We had two fantastic weeks in August, the place was clean if fact there was always someone mopping or washing down something. The food was good maybe need a bit more selection for the children. The pool was amazing , the only downside was the other guests who continually left uneaten food and drinks everywhere. It is situated at the top of the hill but it was fine not at all the monster other reviews had led us to believe. The behaviour of other guests was disgusting from tantrums in the restaurants, rudeness to the staff and we even overheard some planning what to complain about on their last day, such a shame. I read the reviews and was worried , but me and the family had a great hoilday !

When we arrived at 10.30pm , we were tried and hungry , we got a basic packed lunch with water , sandwich , fruit and biscuit , we really appreciated this , the room was nice every thing we needed , Pillows were not great , but for a weeks stay was ok , The Pool, sun loungers and umbrella we great -never had a problem with getting one my son spent the week in the pool - salt water but you get use to it ! The food was ok , we found something every day that we could eat and the pool bar food was nice and the kids enjoyed this at lunch time rather then the restaurant The staff were polite and friendly , never had a problem with them the rooms were clean and towels were replaced every two days , as was the room cleaned The entertainment left a lot to be desired , but the kids all seemed to enjoy it All in all we had a great week , with great weather and family time in the sun , what more can you ask for from a 2/3 star! So where to start with an honest review.. stated 30th august to 7th September Got to laguna park at 10.30 and was given a pack up as all inclusive stops (didn't eat) dry bread and a slither of ham (unappetising) room E15 cleaned and maintained ok but really could do with modernising. Next day a pool day where we had to walk down the hill and steps which wasn't too bad until we had to walk back up.. definitely needed an oxygen tank! Pool was great for a dip and been all inclusive drinks were easy to get as it was self service for fizzy pop and lager, snacks around the pool were the same every day burgers/hot dogs/chips. To eat the chips you needed very strong teeth. Other items like nuggets and toasties had to be paid for! Entertainment around the pool wasn't brilliant. Lots of flys and the smell of drains was disgusting. Night time we had one night eating in and around the bar we went out the rest as food was terrible and the entertainment on an evening consisted of a poor quiz and bingo. Walking into town itself took us about 15 to 20 minutes and never walked back always a taxi. Nights out at Veronica's were good. Although the first night out me and the other half sent 300 euros safe to say we can't remember much and the atmosphere is brill. Although I love Tenerife I will never return to laguna park 2 again. Yes you get what you pay for but we ended up spending hell of a lot more because if the choices in the hotel. We will be returning next year but staying nearer to Veronica's and the beach. Don't waste money going just spend that little extra and go somewhere else where you don't have to take your hiking boots. Collapse

Let me just be clear, the ammenities are great so are the apartments, staff and activities. If your not fit yes the hill would be an issue, but on the complex there are lifts and if you ask nicely te staff would assist you with a golf buggy. The issue we had was that we were self catering and they have an all inclusive deal at this resort which we were not aware of when booking, resulting in just mess made by guests that the staff couldnt cope with, fag butts everywhere and plastc cups floating inthe pool. They have bins every 15ft around the pool area that people just ignored. the other issue we found was that as self catering and eating our breakfast in our apartment most days was that we didnt stand a chance of getting a sunbed as all the all inclusive guests whom go down the hill to the resturant to have breakfast reserve them all with towels etc so we never got a look in until at least 4pm. You can hire air con which was a must and the bus down to the beach was great. would not stay again just due to guests this place attracts. Collapse
