Our hotel was excellent. There were so many activities throughout the day, a bar that ran late enough to have snacks throughout the day and sunbeds and unbrellas to rent too. Only negative I had with the place was a lack of sunbeds, I think it was just too busy but there were still quite a few people bathing on the floor on towels. Costa Adeje is a family friendly place, we went as mates and went out in Plays de las Americas every night but I think it works for any type of holiday as there are activities right next door, or just a few euros in a taxi and your there :) Collapse

Check in went smooth and we were given our key in row F. I had emailed the hotel two weeks before our arrival date to ask for a higher floor as I have problems with mobility since a recent back surgery. Row F was quite a way from reception, not what we had hoped for. However, that night my husband was in the shower and there was a clatter and a shout from my husband. The bathroom fittings fell off the wall into the bath while he was in it. I reported it the next morning and they couldn't fix it immediately, so we were given another apartment. Row C , no stairs, fantastic ! The apartment was lovely and I was so grateful. They even sent the buggy to come and collect us with our luggage. So thoughtful ! I have to thank the receptionists Eva and Marta as they were very kind to me. Antonio , on reception helped us out because we probably had the worst holiday rep in the world ! So thanks to Antonio for helping us find our flight times for home. The other receptionists didn't seem to care about you and never showed any interest, especially Louis, always seemed to be in a bad mood ! Always got a taxi down and back from the resort. £3.50 each way, not bad ! We were self catering,so can't comment on the food.could not get down to the pool which was a shame, due to not being able to walk down the hill and having to walk back up it ! I went to the beach though, and really enjoyed that. We had a lovely holiday. Thank you Laguna Park 2. Collapse

I was looking for a cheap hotel for an Easter break for my family during the Easter holidays. Four of us travelled the first week of the Easter holiday, with my 19 year old daughter and 17 year old son. We were given 2 self catering rooms right next to each other on row H. One of the rooms appeared to be a lot cleaner and had some additional features such as a light above the bathroom mirror and a kettle. The other room was on the surface clean but from the bed you could see cobwebs under the cupboard and the bathroom tiles needed a good scrubbing and one the wardrobe had a strong antiseptic smell? Both rooms would be described as basic. Room was cleaned regular, although on one of the days there was a distinct dirty mop smell in the room after she left. Our cleaner was extremely friendly and happy to just the change the towels daily. Which was necessary as you are only supplied with one small and two medium towels per room. On arrival we noticed the living room light wasn't working. We reported this on our way out and by the time we returned it was changed. You do get a courtesy free safe per room, which is very good as this is normally chargeable. There isn't any air conditioning and was bearable for Easter but I imagine it would be extremely hot in main session. We went self catering so I can't comment on the overall food, but i did purchase burger and chips by the pool for 3.5 Euro was good quality bargain and was cooked in front on me so I could see it was clean and and cooked properly. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel pool. It is very large, clean and did have plenty of sun beds available. Some of the comments have mentioned the hill. To be honest the hill from row H to the main reception is very steep and a challenge with suitcases but it is nothing like the incline of the hill to get back to the hotel from the beech and shops. In the heat this hill is a challenge, even for my fit 17 year old son. If you do have mobility issues or breathing problems I would suggest you consider a different hotel or walk a bit further into town and pay 3 euro back to the hotel. This is a cheap hotel and the price is reflective on the rooms, location etc so you do get what you paid for. If like us you have expectations of this just being a base in order to take advantage of the April sun at a reasonable school holiday price then this is a good place to stay which has an excellent pool area to sunbath and swim. The only issue we had was that our transfer didn't arrive to take us back to the airport. Although this wasn't anything to do with the hotel they did phone the travel company for me. However they were keen for me go away and gave me the standard 2 min speech. After an additional 10 min I gave up and jumped a taxi to the airport. From the hotel to the airport it was 28 euro and only took 15 minutes. If you are travelling self catering I would recommend Francis. This is at the first start of shops and the bottom of the very steep hill. Excellent quality food, good service and prices are extremely cheap. Three courses only cost 7.5 euro. Collapse

Once again my wife and I have had a wonderful two weeks at "Laguna Park 2" The service and friendliness of staff were every bit as excellent as the first time we went. The site is kept clean and flower beds well maintained by a conscientious staff. The rooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable. We go self catering and found the amenities for this more than adequate for a very comfortable stay. Some of the other amenities have been upgraded since our last visit, a flatscreen TV has been installed and the front door now has a card reader instead of a key (much less bulky in your pocket and less likely to get lost) We don't tend to watch the TV when we are on holiday but it was nice to be able to put music on. Safes are still either free or with a returnable deposit and we did not have to pay for terrestrial channels on the TV. The taxi fare from the local Mercadona (supermarket) was only €3.45 so no worry about slogging up the hill with your shopping. There is a shop on site also but of course it doesn't have the selection of a big supermarket. Any taxi fare you want to pay is more than recompensed by the value for money you get by booking in to Laguna Park 2. We will definitely be going back again!! Collapse

The room was pretty basic but was very clean, clean towels every other day bedding changed on Wednesday's why would anyone need changes more often do they not shower. Changed our holiday to all inclusive after going into restaurant and having a look at food, nothing special but mostly edible and reasonable choice its hard to keep a buffet hot without the food drying out I like my food hot and always used the microwave to heat it up, Breakfast was excellent, snacks round the pool bar often pizza or cheese n ham toastie kids liked it good enough for me as they often did not have much for breakfast or lunch. I would certainly return. Collapse
fantastic friendly staff

As stated in other reviews you get what you pay for, the staff were very helpful and friendly. It is also on a hill, but it does tell you that on website, taxis are cheap from beach, it does give you a great view that you wouldn't get on the beach front. If you want a cheap holiday with some exercise, this is a great place. They were doing improvements while we were there. Collapse
