Our hotel was excellent. There were so many activities throughout the day, a bar that ran late enough to have snacks throughout the day and sunbeds and unbrellas to rent too. Only negative I had with the place was a lack of sunbeds, I think it was just too busy but there were still quite a few people bathing on the floor on towels. Costa Adeje is a family friendly place, we went as mates and went out in Plays de las Americas every night but I think it works for any type of holiday as there are activities right next door, or just a few euros in a taxi and your there :) Collapse

Returned yesterday after 2 weeks bed and breakfast, was slighly worried after reading some reviews, but it wasnt that bad you get what you pay for. The worse thing it is its location, at the top of cardiac hill and then set in the hill so once inside the complex there are still hills and steps to climb. However there is a free bus that runs to the beach and back throughout the day.On an evening we walked down into town and taxi back costing 4 Euro. The rooms are basic but clean and cleaned every other day,There were lots of cockroaches but spray is provided and I left all plugs in the bath and sinks which reduced them on returning on an evening. It was very warm and there is no air conditioning but a ceiling fan in the bedroom if you can open your door for a while on an evening before bed the cool air did filter in and cool the room down but then you need to watch for any sneeky cockroaches trying to get in. I cannot comment on all the food as we only had breakfast but that was also good and had lots of choice and varied selection to suit everybody unless you are exceptionally fussy and didnt finish serving until 10.30am so don't feel you need to be up too early. The food by the pool was not expensive if you wern't all inclusive but the lager was a bit dodgy so we stuck to soft drinks around the pool. The pool is very good it is a very good size and has a life guard on duty. The animation team are also lovely and eager to get everyone to join in activities. There are ample sunloungers and umbrellas and no fighting to get your towels down too early. The shop at the complex is also very good and is just as cheap for some items if not cheaper than trailing down the hill. Check out time was at 12.00 which was very good as most hotels we've stayed at it has been 10.00am so made afternoon transfers painless. There is a luggage room and shower room which is also ample. The staff are all really nice and happy to help. This is not as bad as some people make out for the price of it you get what you pay for. I would holiday there again if it was in a different location but it was good enough for my family and our needs ( 2 adults one teenager and 2 other adults who stayed in a studio room) Collapse

This is a bog standard hotel. Probably one of the worst I have stayed in. The problem is it could be a lot better with a bit of effort. The food is edible but I wouldn't go any further than that. There is no air con anywhere. To get from the rooms to the bar area/reception you have a big incline to walk up. The bar area is roasting hot and stinks, and there are not enough tables to seat all guests. Outside of the bar are some seats. But not enough and they are uncomfortable. If would not be difficult to provide cushioned seats and tables and even table service for drinks to make the experience better for customers. So food not great. Bar too hot with not enough seats or comfort for the guests. Entertainment was rubbish. On the nights when we didn't go to las Americas we played cards outside our room because standing up outside the bar is not my idea of comfort Collapse

Never again worse holiday ever the place was scruffy dirty horrible and food was horrible pool was disgusting and while we stayed at the place a few people were robbed and even a homeless woman was knocking on doors for water and food anyone can walk in the apartment and the hill to get to the pool and dinner hall was ridiculous so if you're unfit this is definitely not a place to go Monday andTuesday no kids entertainment 10.30 all inclusive stopped so if you arrive late you can't eat unless you buy food drinks was served in kids plastic cups Evening food was horrible The place needs shutting down On the beach side it was a 3* it's a 2 I would not even give it that teenage in the pool until early hours no air con you can hire a fan for 30euro I made the biggest mistake not reading the reviews as o thought it was a good price for a week all inclusive massive mistake I won't be making again I'm no snobby person who stays in 4&5 stars hotels and I've stayed in some lovely 3stars I felt like I was at pointing Collapse

The apartments were spacious and clean, no air conditioning but doors open back and front and ceiling fans in the bedroom. Beds are a bit hard! The food and drink was good and the pool bar and snacks were ideal, worth going all inclusive. The pool was a good size, was not overcrowded and everyone enjoyed it. You do need to get your sun loungers early as they were claimed by people's towels very early! Free bus goes regularly to the small town and the beach and returns to the hotel. Mark was very helpful in terms of planning day trips. Siam Park is a must, it was a great day out but you need to get your fast tracks early. The whale and dolphin boat trip is also very enjoyable. Laguna Park 2 is within walking distance from the town although it is on a hill. The staff were friendly the only criticism really is the entertainment as whilst it is ok for small children it was not great for teenagers or adults, we were bored of the entertainment. We enjoyed our holiday and would stay there again. Collapse

I just wanted to leave a comment because I booked Laguna park 2 a couple of times.. before I went I read the bad negative comments.. I was so scared wondering what I had booked!! Read it was full of coach-roaches read that it gets broken into all the time and people's belongings get robbed.. bad food.. no entertainment.. in my view they couldn't have been anymore wrong.. I was glad to read these comments as it made me aware what to look for.. when we arrived I checked all the doors and yes I'll admit one was broke and could have been easily got into.. so we told reception and they said they'd send someone to fix it straight away.. before we'd even put are suitcases in the bedroom a lovely man come in.. he was very nice even shown us a trick how to keep the lights on with out a key room card.. he couldn't really fix the door so he said get your stuff and come with me.. he put us in a brand new room.. doors was perfect both locked and secure.. we was happy with there service straight away.. then another time we stayed we noticed we couldn't get the TV to work.. so we asked reception again.. another man came.. this man was a little less talkative but he fixed it so we was happy again.. the next day we had a look round and the views and size of the pool is out of this world.. it all looked amazing.. my only down fall with this hotel is the hills.. I don't think it's good for anyone with walking difficulties as even the hotel it's self is very hilly.. that is my only down fall about this hotel.. but didn't stop me staying again.. it has really good entertainment.. down to bird shows.. magic shows.. reptile shows.. the entertainment is really really good.. as iv stayed in hotels more closer to the beach and they only have one good entertainment once a week.. Laguna 2 had something on every night.. the food wasn't really all that but it was alright for the kids as they'd eat anything.. but the view while your eating your food is amazing I could sit and eat in that dinning room for ever.. amazing full view of the beautiful ocean and in the evening the sun is setting so to eat your food with a View of the Sea and a beautiful sunset is lovely.. just wish the food was nice as well but it didn't really bother us that much.. there is a lovely cafe at the bottom of the hill called Mr Chaplains.. full English breakfast and a drink is €2:50 and it's really really nice.. we've been that many times we're down as his regulars now.. no matter what hotel we stay in we love mr chaplains.. also Marios across the road.. also one of our regular restaurants.. you get a little mini starter free what he puts out while waiting.. then we order lovely big steak, chips salad with pepper corn sauce.. plus a little free smoothie dessert and drinks all for just under €10 euros.. there is also an English chippy witch is good for kids through out the day on the same road just before you get to marios.. beach is easy to find if you find the secret roots.. there is alley ways just as you get to the bottom of the hill.. if you go down them it cuts walking all round the shops/bars/hotels to get to the beach.. it took us our second holiday to find these as they look abit dark so I was scared to walk down them.. we just tried the second time and couldn't believe how much walking it had saved us.. part from the walking part from the hills this hotel is lovely and amazing and is good for kids and adults.. has an arcade for the kids it's really good.. please don't believe the bad comments but just remember to be aware like I was.. also about the coach roaches.. I hate bugs I'm terrified but going to Tenerife and seeing no coach roaches is like going to Africa and seeing no elephants.. I'm afraid it's normal in Tenerife but you get used to them.. we never seen any in the rooms out of the 6 years we've been going.. part from once but that's a different storey and the bloody thing flown in because they've got wings.. but part from that this hotel is great and would stay again anytime.. even Laguna park 1 at the bottom of the hill is not as good as this one.. it would be better if 2 was at the bottom instead but either way taxi is just €3 up and down the hill.
