Our hotel was excellent. There were so many activities throughout the day, a bar that ran late enough to have snacks throughout the day and sunbeds and unbrellas to rent too. Only negative I had with the place was a lack of sunbeds, I think it was just too busy but there were still quite a few people bathing on the floor on towels. Costa Adeje is a family friendly place, we went as mates and went out in Plays de las Americas every night but I think it works for any type of holiday as there are activities right next door, or just a few euros in a taxi and your there :) Collapse

Came here for a holiday with my friend. The location it's quite far and very uphill from anywhere but there are taxis provided. The hotel it's self was clean welcoming and the pool and bar area was lovely and big, nice and clean! The apartment however had ants in the shower the water would only run a certain amount of time then it would go cold. There was no Decor very plain, when the housekeeper changed sheets on bed, their was sheets with holes in. The utensils were filthy. I wouldn't recommend this for a family or for anyone with high expectations. Collapse

Honest review, if you have read about Laguna 2 then yes you already know its on a hill, no point complaining. Staff at the bar are pleasant. Staff on reception, could do with training even if just to show them how to smile. As an operations manager in a large hotel your reception staff are your first impression for the rest of your organisation. Rooms are clean and a good size, but a little dated. They are refurbing and theses rooms look to be a good standard. Our party was self catering and i am glad we did this option, met quite a few families that said food was awful. We did pay for a snack at the pool bar and this was ok. I think as a budget self catering holiday this place is a decent 3 star, as an all inclusive accommodation then choose somwhere else! Managment your staff can only work with the tools you give them. Kids entertainment is a disaster, i witnessed with my own eyes a member of staff pull out 2 kids tables and a few chairs along with 3 balls of play doh. He then told parents he could not stay and would be back later. Kids 5pm film in the bar, waited till 5.45pm no film ever happened, kids disco 1/2 an hour each night. Either do all inclusive properly or go back to a self catering complex which you did so well some 20 years ago! Gorgeous pool area but seriously look at getting it heated, you would make money back in people using the bar ! Collapse
All inclusive are treated second best! If not worse

We stopped here for Boxing Day 2016 for 1 week taking us into the new year for 2017 The hotel is on a very steep slope I'm sure you've already ready plenty of reviews about that already you will definitely feel it in your calves after 1 day going to the pool from your room or to the reception you can't avoid the steep slope, if you are on the ground floor apartment expect cockroaches and ants in your room, none of this was a problem as the hotel is built on the side of a hill/mountain so you're bound to get some of the local life in you're room, the rooms are very very basic and the sliding door wouldn't really do much if someone wanted to get in, and that's isn't the reason for the 1star review, Unfortunately every day was very windy when we stayed and the only place you could get a drink was the pool bar this was the only place to sit and have a drink most days was very windy and the drinks would be flying everywhere off the tables as there was nowhere else to go sit there's a disco bar inside the hotel but this was never opened and was never offered to be open for you to be able to get away from the wind it would only open at 6pm, so you had no choice but to sit outside there was so many people sat by the pool bar with hoodies, jumpers towels round them but as there was nowhere else to go there isn't even anywhere to sit in the reception area except for 1 small settee, there is a small games room area with a few seats but no tables and not somewhere you can just sit and relax so if it's cold or windy on your stay it's either the pool area or back to your room! Here's the kicker for me, and it really annoyed me and a lot of other guests were not happy with this either, on the first day arriving we was half board so we paid for all our drinks. I went to the pool bar and ordered a beer he said would you like a large beer, yes please I said! All very nice so far, later we went to the disco bar I ordered a beer he gave it me in a chilled Pint glass, this is nice I thought! The next day we decided to upgrade to all inclusive we payed the money to reception and he gave us blue bands, the reception staff was very nice by the way, so no we didn't have to worry about money by the pool area etc, I went to the pool bar and ordered a large beer he looked at my wrist band and said you are not allowed large beer !!! I was allowed a small plastic cup which were placed on the bar, later I went back to the disco bar and said beer please he looked at my wristband and started to poor it into a medium sized plastic glass I said no I would like it in the chilled pint glass. He said no that is for PAYING CUSTOMERS ONLY!!!! These guys actually think I was getting the drinks for free!! The 2 bar men in the disco bar was extremely rude and very miserable I saw several arguements with the same 2 bartenders in the disco bar with guests about the pint glasses one of the bartenders actually swore and one of the guests and told him to report him he didn't care! They would always serve the "paying guest" first even if we or other all inclusive were waiting So if your stopping here and you're considering all inclusive just don't do it. Don't do it, don't do it! Save your money and Go out into Tenerife and enjoy yourself away from this hotel, All inclusive stops at 10:30pm but the bar stays open until midnight, how is that all inclusive, ??the entertainment (if you could call it that started) about 1030pm when the all inclusive finished it's was suppose to start at 10pm but rarely did so after the first 2 nights in the hotel dealing with the disgusting behaviour of the bar staff we chose not drink in there again as it wasn't worth the arguments or the bar staff ignoring you for "paying customers" or being treated like you was a free loader I doubt very much this hotel gets repeat business I wish I would have read more reviews on here before booking this hotel The management reply to all negative comments on here and makes excuses to every other customer reviews over and over again so please explain the all inclusive option to me and how it's acceptable for your bar staff to swear at your guests We visit Tenerife twice a year and have never been made to feel so small in any other hotel If you haven't booked this hotel yet and are still unsure keep scrolling through the others reviews! I'm sure you'll make your mind up! Collapse

I went in July wit my boyfriend and it was our first holiday abroad together alone. The staff did the best they could to support us and help us out with everything we asked of them. I read plenty of reviews on here before I went and to be honest I didn't want to go I actually thought about cancelling but when I was there I didn't actually have anything to complain about. I certainly didn't have cockroaches in my room and to be honest even if I did I wouldn't have kicked up as much of a fuss as some people have as I've stayed in 5 star accommodation and had one in my room. The pool is busy occasionally but to be honest pools are at most places. You get what you pay for to be honest. I would return again if I needed a budgeted holiday. Collapse
