We had a fantastic time at the Kenzi Europa hotel, the staff are friendly and the entertainment team were great!! The rooms were clean and comfortable- we were on the 7th floor with a pool view which was lovely and from speaking to other guests much quieter than the beach view, due to the traffic and there being a festival on the beach during our stay which was quite loud- this could not be heard from the pool view side though- so if possible ask for a pool view. The food was nice and the menu is varied each day. The food could be improved slightly, as the meat is often quite fatty. But we could always find something to eat and we are not fussy eaters! The service in the dining room isn't great- but we were staying at peak season- often it was difficult to find a clean table with cutlery and glasses, towards the end of our stay this did improve as the hotel got quieter however. A suggestion for the hotel would be to install some air con in th dining room as it did get quite hot in there especially at lunch time!! The pool area is great and the slides were lots of fun! The pool staff are great and will always help you find sun beds, a parasol, inflatables, towels, whatever you need! The bar staff are great too and always happy to help! The entertainment staff were fantastic, especially Aziz- a lovely guy who always went out of his way to make sure we were happy, he even stayed with us some nights to play cards!! We were at first quite disappointed with the weather due to the sea mist on our first two days- the sun didn't come out at all so we were quite worried. But on the third day the sun came out and we had beautiful sunny weather for the rest of our stay!! Our thomson rep said that June, July and August often has the misty weather and the September and October months are much better - so we got lucky staying at the end of August! So if looking for the sun, be careful which month you choose to go! Agadir is a beautiful place to stay and we enjoyed exploring on the Cala iris fishing trip and on jet skis, we also went on the dune buggy trip around the Souss Massa national park which was great! We paid to go on the full day trip to Marrakesh which we both enjoyed but it was very hot and a very long day so I would not recommend for children. Overall a fantastic holiday and a wonderful time at the kenzi europa, I would recommend the hotel to anyone, we stayed for 2weeks and wished we could have stayed longer!! Thank you for a fab holiday!! Collapse

We arrived late (11.20pm) so nothing open not even a welcome drink so pizza hut a 5 min walk open till 1, The breakfast buffet same every day no change, Pool area good but small my 12 year old had hours of fun on the slides only problem was the rings used on the slides you had to buy them ok no problem but it lasted 1 day before breaking and at £8 a ring little bit much, The evening buffet very repeatative and luke warm, My main problem was the bottles and glasses around the pool very dangerous, Staff were very good from the pool boys to the cleaners all nice and friendly. The lifts need a overhaul my 12 year old got stuck in them twice and when your on the 7th floor its not good at all. One bar is not enough the tea and coffee machine should be on all day to save time at the bar and maybe more staff at said bar but one the whole a good basic 3 star hotel, would we go back ........maybe. On one hand, the hotel had great views, enjoyable facilities, an excellent service when it came to luggage (Belal was both friendly and incredibly helpful), a wide variety of food to choose from for all meals, very comfy beds (we slept really well) and the waiters, cleaners and porters were all polite and never failed to help. On the other hand, however, the staff reception were tremendously rude when we required help (we had to ask them multiple times to sort out our room problems), sometimes the room keys didn't work, the rooms could be dirty at times (the maids didn't do the best job- they need Dyson vacuums!) and doors and draws had fingerprints from previous guests. What's more, on our first day, we had no toilet roll and only one towel to share between four. Additionally, the sir conditioners were positioned awkwardly and failed to work anyway an the corridors had a thick, musky smell: it was so bad, we requested to change rooms the next day! Even though we were resettled, we weren't given twin rooms that we paid for. We felt as thought the decor of the rooms was somewhat outdated: the bathrooms need full renovation, what with the dirty shower curtains, lack of AC, etc. Personally, I believe that the excursions were overpriced, such as the one-day trip to Marrakesh (£350). Its worth was further diminished by the fact that the entire trip was delayed for an hour, with us tourists being passed on to other tour guides, all of which wanted extra payment, even though the trip was all-inclusive! To top it all off, we returned to the hotel at 1:00am. Conclusively, the luxurious facilities couldn't make up for the appalling reception staff and lack of decent rooms, as well as all of our other complaints. It should be a three-star hotel- not four. The all inclusive was very good and there was different food + barbeque on a daily basis and I would highly recommend anyone with young children to stay here. Kids are kept busy with the pool and poolside activities by the pool team. Be aware that the deckchairs are limited in number and unless you reserve one early in the morning you are unlikely to find one until late in the day. All in all we were very pleased with the stay. Entertainment from the morning till 10pm to keep parents and kids happy. Agadir beach is just across the road should you wish to venture outside for something different. Collapse
