This hotel is great for families with kids or without. Feels like home. Very friendly staff especially reception and animation team! Animation team is amazing, talented, fun. Good quality entertainment programme. Very safe for kids. I was traveling with a five years old very active boy and felt very safe with him running around hotel grounds. Also left my bags and phones lying around without any worry :-). The rooms are good, the cleanliness can improve very slightly. Downstairs area can be improved a bit but overall amazing hotel. Would come back and recommend Collapse

Firstly both my wife and I would like to thank Sanaa, the Destination Manager and the restaurant staff including chef and the restaurant manager who looked after the us two couples extremely well. Nothing was too much trouble for them especially as one of our colleagues had some particular dietary needs, all of which were met with smiles and utmost respect. Sanaa was the angel who sorted out most of our problems. However, she was not on duty on the date of our arrival. We arrived at the hotel after 12 hours waiting at stansted and travel. We arrived at the hotel at 10.00pm tired and hungry. The reception staff were rude and not attentive. This was not helped by the fact that the lobby was used as a theatre/stage with loud music and voices. We had booked sea view or pool view rooms and neither rooms that we were allocated complied with this. We let this pass. However, one bedroom came with a king size bed whilst the other came with twin beds. Both couples preferred king size beds and when queried with the reception staff we were told that all the rooms had twin beds!! This was clearly a lie! After an hour of arguing and challenging both couple were given rooms with king size beds!! Entertainment was provided fir every evening by the "Animation Team" they were very engaging with the young children who were there and all the other guests. All of the entertainment was geared towards young families which we didn't mind. The mornings in the restaurant were always pleasant with a wide range of cereals, hot foods and salads. Similarly the evening meals were adequate with a good variety of food. The beach was only a 2-3 minutes walk across the road with a portion of it allocated to the hotel where there were loungers and parasols overlooking the sea. The location is very good with the Marina only a 10-15 minute walk along the promenade. The taxi fare into town for four of us was a set tariff of 50 dinars (around £5) and only a 10 minute ride away. The souk was pleasant and the traders were not as pushy as we expected and once you told them you were not interested, they left you alone. The hotel pools were nice but the pool staff were ineffective and lazy. On one of the days the sun really shone and we wanted to soak up the sun by the pool. We were told by the pool boys that there were no loungers available. A few minutes later we saw them setting up loungers for other guests who had arrived after us. It was only after persisting with them that they finally bought out loungers from done store room in one of the buildings. The rooms and hotel are in need of decoration and the self rating of 5 stars that the hotel has given itself is not accurate. Some of the staff do not treat the guests like they are staying in a five star hotel and a rating of three would be more accurate. I would stay at this hotel again only because of the restaurant manager, chef and Sanaa. The reception staff and pool staff definitely need to go on customer care training. Collapse

I was not really impressed by this hotel which seems to be more a hotel for tourists then for business. The infrastructure is Ok including a big swimming pool. Unfortunately, the typical German bad habit of putting a towel on the seat at 7:30 in the morning to reserve THEIR place. I hate this. Another problem is that the lifts are very noisy. Many of my colleagues complained about it. Positive the breakfast buffet is nice and offers a large variety of food. Collapse

Just returned back from Kenzi Europa Hotel after a weeks stay. This hotel is one of the best to stay in with children. Stayed there with my 3 daughters age from 16 to 10 and a friend with her 15 year old. It's kids friendly. The moment we walked into the hotel the receptionist Faizal made us feel so welcoming he has a big smile on his face at all times. We were shown to our rooms. My room was in level 6 room 1602 with pool view and room 1607 with sea view the both rooms had the best views, it's so big with super king bed and a single bed but it still felt very spacious. The rooms were cleaned everyday. The food at the restaurant was not to our tasting it was very bland after speaking to Hakima and the restaurant management they tried there best to prepare special meals for us which was so kind of them. Kenzi Europa has one of the best animation team, they work tirelessly all day and night nothing is too much trouble for all of them. I would like to say a massive thank you to Anouar, Kali, Nada, Khalid and Aziz for everything they did to make a stay perfect. There was activities in the morning and afternoon every day to keep the kids busy and at every night entertainment to keep everyone entertained not to fault. The beach is in front of the hotel, it has McDonalds, KFC and Pizza Hut and lots of amenities for the kids. The Marina is a short walk too. Sanaa the public relations manager was so lovely too she went out of her way to help us on the day we were leaving needed our bags weighed so she got that done for us. Anouar, Nada and Kali went out of the way to walk us right up to our transfer bus to say goodbye. The kids enjoyed it so much they didn't want to leave them. Would like to thank all the staff at Kenzi Europa once again for there hospitality and care they showed towards us, and hope to visit again soon. Thank you. Collapse
