The staff is very welcoming and gracious, check-in was expedited and a nice room upgrade was offered even with an early check-in. Dirty carpets in the corridors, Nice linen, great bathroom and excellent wifi everywhere in the hotel a BIG PLUS.. In other words what you would expect of a four star business hotel. A quick tour of the property will tell you that this hotel borders a huge vacant lot on a boulevard where speeding motorcycles have a great time especially late in the night, security is excellent... ( best to request a pool view inner courtyard room). The fitness center was very disappointing, featuring only three cardio machines and if i remember it was a stationary bike a treadmill or two on barely 85 sqf... this is not a fitness room, this is a checkmark... the pool and bar is very nice but the water is not heated and quite chilly in April ( note to self bring icepick next time).. The dark basement spa has several treatment rooms but the prices are quite expensive and with no view it is too stark to make it worth your while. The biggest fail for me was the TV... I was hoping to catch a soccer game and the tv had only 16 channels with no sports of any kind but instead 12 channels covering the first round of the French Presidential elections of 2017... sorry no restaurant or food review yet... All in all , if you are on a business trip , great spot , for all others i would suggest more adequate accommodations which Marrakech is full off... Collapse

An enjoyable boutique hotel with relaxing surroundings. Upgraded to a larger room gave ample space. Wonderful selection of food at breakfast and dinner. HOWEVER, there were niggling points such as: our room was opposite a night club across the road and the "boom boom" was felt through the room until 4.30am. On the second day the hotel catered for a large sports club, to the detriment of the guests so that on the last evening food choice was restricted and guests huddled in a corner. Charging of drinks at the poolside hap hazard leading to disagreements and over charging. HOWEVER, our balcony overlooked the Atlas Mountains and we had three days of hot sunshine that made up for everything. Collapse

Nice hotel, very clean and staff were polite. The room was adequate bed uncomfortable. We were there in March 2017 so the hotel was not full. Meals were very nice especially the evening meals and the staff in the dining area were very willing to to assist you. The spa has to be paid for separately including the steam room. The pool area was ok as it is a sun trap if sat in the right area. Service is good but room service for a hot drink on the first morning did not happen. There is not much to do as the gym is a small alcove with 3 apparatus to use of which I saw no one using. There is a small mall around 15 minute walk away which is worth a visit. Collapse

Had a short stay here, booked a triple room for 3 adults through a booking website. I had booked under the impression that we would receive a room with 3 beds, when I arrived at 7pm there was only 1 extra large bed inside the room. The reception said they would provide a supplementary bed which took 15 minutes to set up. However, when one adult sat on the bed it broke within seconds. We had to call reception and they said they would replace it, however this whole flapping around spoilt my first impression of this place and it took around an hour after check in to have both beds sorted. Once they gave us the second bed, we were not given a duvet with it, just a blanket and a cushion as a pillow. Not too professional a start. I have written a summary below of my opinion on my stay: Negatives: Location: It is a little out of the way, can't flag down a taxi easily, you need to get reception to call a taxi for you but then the problem is that you cannot easily negotiate a price with the taxi driver which is a must before entering any taxi in Marrakech! Most taxi drivers said to us that as they had been called by the hotel they had to charge us a surcharge! Felt like we had no option on a couple of occasions as no other taxis were driving past for us to hail down. Lobby area: mostly this was pretty dead, no noise or sign of anything happening here. It may be good for you if you don't like noise, but if like me, you are looking for a lively atmosphere, this isn't the right hotel! Breakfast: limited and nothing to say besides it's just average. This is the first hotel I have stayed in where I have not been welcomed at breakfast, I wasn't asked what room number I am staying in, nor did I get shown to my table. It's completely self seat and self service. Was wondering how they could figure how who has breakfast included in their room charge and who hasn't as anyone could come and sit down from what I could see. The choice at breakfast includes omelettes with a choice of toppings/eggs made in front of you, some fruit and yoghurt, and bread and pastries. Just seemed very scarce, jugs were not being refilled with juice quick enough, milk jug was empty, plates were running out and it just wasn't a very welcoming or efficient set up. Language: Some staff we encountered at the hotel spoke little English so it's good if you can speak French or Arabic to get by. Toilet and housekeeping: room wasn't cleaned to a top standard as we noticed the floor wasn't swept in the bathroom for the entire duration of our 3 night stay. No slippers were provided in the hotel for use in the bathroom. The toilet didn't flush easily and often needed several flushes and 10 or more minutes to flush properly. Positives: The WiFi is absolutely fantastic at this hotel. The WiFi was actually better than in my London home! I could stream films and Skype comfortably etc. The pool area is nice and has shaded and non shaded areas with many sun loungers. The room we had was absolutely fab and spacious for 2 to 3 people. We received an executive suite and it was so large, the best sized rooms I have ever stayed in. The bathroom was such a nice size as well and had a fantastic power shower in the bath tub which was so relaxing, have to say I loved the room and the bathroom. Previously in Marrakech another 5 star hotel we have stayed in had a toilet without a proper door in the room so this was completely perfect as it was closed off from the actual bedroom. Price: This was definitely very reasonably and well priced but due to it being advertised as a triple room on a booking website Amoma, I was unhappy with what I received regarding bed set up. When I asked the hotel, the reception said they did not do a triple room with 3 beds. Overall average hotel, average breakfast, with excellent WiFi. I think next time I would definitely find alternative places to stay in better locations where taxis were more easily available. Collapse
